He had so been lost in those luscious lips and eyes and feathers and the eyes on her face and.... then suddenly thunder, lightning, screaming, panics. hissing?
Blinking,he tore his gaze away from Cela back towards the hall just in time to see loads of pae pouring out like a waterfall in a screaming panicked bundle of chaos. "I... I have no idea.." he gulped as she clung to him tighter. Oh man he thought she couldn't get any closer.. wrong.
Looping his arms around her waist as she clung, he got to his feet and started heading away from the hall quickly like everyone else. "Fear not... uh... lets just get out of here actually..." he said, using his wings to help flap him along while he ran awkwardly with her in his arms.
Damn it, he was so in heaven too....

The lights went out and Ravana's senses kicked into overdrive. Her hero was forgotten as well as her new rival. The darkness had her on alert, as did the smell of predators in the air. Aside from herself and some of her kind that she'd seen here tonight.
Killers. The dark, musty scent of death...old death...
Hissing, she vanished into the shadows, reappearing on the other side of the room next to her bonded. She latched onto Tanyth's arm with a hiss, "We need to go no---" She blinked, suddenly puzzled by the male figure.
Tanyth hissed back. "Don't ask. It's a long story. Anyway, let's go then. This party kinda' bi--" She hesitated as the lights flickered back on...a light and smoke show later, and she was stilled by the sight. Giant...snake creatures. She narrowed her eyes, tail lashing with aggressive force. Who...?

The Emperor's fiery eyes scanned the crowd, wary, yet accompanied by a warning hiss that hinted that his blade was not just for show. Their mere appearance had caused most of the pitiful Pae'il to flee in terror from the great Angwi, as it should. He parted his jaws, baring enormous fangs at the fleeing crowd. Some, however, it seemed showed a bit more spine than the rest. Well, they'd prepared for any resistance.
"The time is almost here."
Jahleel turned his attention briefly to his empress with a grin. "Then, tend to the little ones. The Angwi will claim this place for our own, and any who resist will be the first meal for our hungry kin." His grip shifted on his weapon as he smoothly slithered towards the few Pae who still stood in rebellion.
With a softer, no less terrifying hiss, the female moved towards the eggs on the table, lightly touching each with her fingertips briefly before going to the next. "Wake soon, little darlings...wake soon, to feed, and grow, and crush your enemies beneath your powerful coils..."

One minute Venus was there, the next...well he didn't know who she was, but he didn't want to find out either! "Starry!" The male grabbed her arm to pull her towards the exist. Orders were being shouted left and right, herding the pae towards the safety of the outside. He moved with the throng but not before catching a glimpse of the new pae's lackeys. Snake pae? New types of pae had popped up more in one year than they had in several when he was a child.
What was going on?
Now wasn't the time for speculation. He focused simply on getting the Everlasting Nightmare out of there.
As Himeros boomed for everyone to escape, Beau popped out from his hiding place under the table. He was a scholar, night a fighter! Keeping a hand on his fez, he gave a quick look around. No Alma. Thank the Guardians. She was probably safe outside still, after leaving the Truth or Dare game. He then gave a mad dash towards the exit.

The chaos goddess flared her tattered skirt and whipped it back as she turned and strolled up to Venus' throne. Daintily, she sat on the ornate gold and pink plush seat and watched her beautiful chaos. "One day, Venus will learn to invite me to her parties," she mused to herself.
She watched the Empress of the Angwi clan tend to her precious eggs while the Emperor continued to terrify party goers. This should work nicely to prevent anymore attendees of any future party hosted by the blond bimbo.
Those hatchlings will be hungry when they enter the world. Maybe the stragglers or those who failed to heed her warning about not being a hero would make a nice meal for them.
Eris lifted her hand, palm up, and a blue striped egg rose from the nest. As Eris swept her hand, she set the egg gently on the floor beside a flailing Pae'il.
Eris was careful with these eggs, unlike last year when she spun them in the air, smacking them against columns and walls.
Oh! Eris spotted a familiar face in the room. Shakira. It was her eggs that were threatened last year. And Eris had mind-controlled the fiercest harpy of them all, ordered her to destroy the Pae'il in her dark labyrinth. "Beautiful songbird, will you sing for us? Something upbeat outta do it." she taunted.
The blue egg started to crack.
"Perfect timing!"

Starry all but squeaked when the hooded figures appeared. Her green eyes had grown wide with shock and fear. And then Dameon was pulling her to the exit. What in the good heavens was going on? The blue demon moved with him, pulling her arm free so she could run easier.
"Dame, something big is going on in there." As if she needed to state the obvious. "We can't just leave everyone in there." The femme was pulling herself to a stop. There were pae standing against whatever this was. "Are you sure we shouldn't be trying to fight whatever this is? Something is taking over the temple of LOVE" Something had to be done right? "The temple of love for guardians sake! Who does something like that?"

Shakira had flown high out of reach as soon as the vile snakes had shone themselves in the light. She had a grudge against Eris, that was certain, no one tried to... tame... a harpy. One look at the feathers adorning the female and Shakira knew better than to mess with these ones. She would have to mourn the losses of her kinfolk later. For now, her feathers flared.
From the high vantage point, Shakira's eyes darted around the room, looking for any harpies who might have attended the party, making sure that they, more than any other pae, were safe. As Eris addressed her, Shakira looked at the evil female. Oh she would sing for her alright. With that Shakira let out the most ear-shattering cry she could. Unfortunately it was a sound that would effect everyone, but she was angry.

That horrible and ungrateful little bird. Eris flared with rage, her aura turning deep purple for a moment as she covered her ears. "You will pay for that." With a wave of her hand, a small pile of gift-debris was flung up into the air towards the Songbird. "You were much more agreeable last year."
With a dismissive wave, she sent a burst of air toward the harpy matriarch in an attempt to knock her out of the to the panic below.
"Let's see now, where were we before being so rudely interrupted? Oh, yes, eggs." Eris lifted another with her magic and floated it towards another pae.(( o0_Daisuke_0o

Watching Nadira caress her precious eggs, Eris was touched, and almost felt bad for using the eggs as weapons against party goers. Almost. Okay, not really. Hey, they were getting the temple to raise the little nippers after all.
Once again, Eris used her levitation magic to move one of the eggs towards a pae that decided to stay and help others. A pretty little starry thing. (( o0_Daisuke_0o

Adonis hadn't exactly thought all that much of it when his wife-to-be gave him the freedom to watch the party.
Sweet, now he could give more charming smiles over to that hottie with a body over there... When she came over to him, it was even better. He flexed, throwing his arms up into the air and showing how absolutely sexy he looked with bodily displays of strength and ... hotness.
Oh yeah.
He winked at Vika, even as she was pulled away by his step-son. Why were they going?
Was he not flexing hard enough?
He thought this had to be it, except for when there were some strange snake things starting to crawl on the ground ... oh, and Venus' sister! She must have wanted to attend. Grinning, he flexed a time or two at her ... before realizing her intentions did not seem to be to admire his hotness. This could be a problem.
Adonis moved over to a table, standing himself up on it. There!
Now what was he supposed to do about this...?
He flexed harder.
