Oh, yes, because just this had happened every other time he'd attempted to scale this metal beast. Steam blew across his face, a pale but painful imitation of the colder winds outside.

It was a place that Mel'ae was growing familiar with and yet had continually been defeated by. So far she had only climbed to the top once. With another glance at the platforms she hurried ahead. Weapons with fire attacked her and she felt rather singed as she moved forward. On the other side she looked back, wiping down her hair to get the fire off of it.

She took her time with the next room, which was unlike herself. Staring at the fan she wrapped her arms around herself for warmth. It had to jammed or she couldn't get through it. Grabbing a large sheet of metal she moved forward, tossing it in unceremoniously. A loud screech and crunching noise could be heard as it slowed, finally stopping Mel'ae moved towards the next area, sneezing once or twice from the cold.

There had been times she'd face-planted, times she fell and times that she got blasted off of the side as she attempted to climb the hot surface. This time it was easier as she seemed to avoid the hot spots. It was still hard work and she stopped once or twice to take a breather but then continued on, finally crawling over the top with a few heavy breaths.
Orbs were shining like small suns and she stood slowly, grabbing hold of one and looking at it up in the light. It filled her with a sense of purpose, a sense of accomplishment. And then she moved to leave. It may have been a fluke but she was making more progress.

Raumias was back. Again.
She was apparently paying no attention at all, and had entirely forgotten where she was, because she got hit with something extremely painful and flammable before she even had a chance to think about what was happening.
After that, it was just a hellstorm of various flaming weapons, and she never really got a chance to recover from the barrage.
