*Shortstraw jumped up and followed, "i sure hope that all you wanna do." He trailed after her, "but blaming a untaught kid for things is not somthing to hold a grudge to. Remember that keria." He replyed sadly as they would come out to where evelyn and hana were. Shortstraw looked to evelyn sadly, 'I couldn't stop her. Theres not much else we can do. She says she just wants to talk but... i think a threats more coming...' he thought. Poor mai, he knew keria loved him so much.

Hana trembled a little as she saw Kiera come through the door with a stern expression and bright red eyes like the blood she had just spilled. Kiera had every right to be mad at her, but Evelyn only hoped that would be as far as it went. Evelyn still stayed by Hana just in case as she stood up again. Kiera stopped a few metres away and crossed her arms over her chest with a large exhale. "Tell me what happened." Evelyn's eyes thinned and Hana looked even more surprised. "U-urhm.. I-I guess I was uh.. having breakfast and... well Mai jumped up and he.. he stole my food.. and ran away with it." Kiera looked impatient. "Out with it." Hana looked straight to the floor. "M-my wolf instincts.. I still haven't really.. got a hang of them.. yet.. and so.. urhm.. I shifted into my wolf form.. not thinking.. and I struck out at him." Kiera shut her eyes. "And he wasn't prepared for it, so he took the hit directly. And I'm guessing if you have the same or even more power than Dante, that was enough to send him flying and ultimately cause his death." Hana didn't take her eyes off the floor and she nodded timidly. "I see." She scratched her neck and opened her eyes slowly. "At the very least, you told the truth."

*Shortstraw just kinda watched. So keria would understand and not do somthing drastic after hana just killed her dog, and ultamly great freind? Okay, he was supprized alittle. Besides this showed she had more control over the situation then he thought. But not it came to, what punishment would keria give. Surly one was needed.

Kiera stared at Hana for a good long while before moving her vision over to Evelyn who was focusing hard on her. Evelyn wasn't convinced, oh hell no. For once Kiera didn't act out on an impulse to a strong emotion? No, that wasn't Kiera. Unless there was something else. "Fine." Kiera blinked lazily and her eyes still stayed the same, rather than them flashing backward and forward between Ying and Yang like Evelyn expected. No, they stayed with Yang in control. "You killed my dog, Hana." Hana nodded slowly however still didn't avert her gaze from the floor. "Do you regret it?" Hana nodded furiously and looked up to Kiera pleadingly. "I wouldn't on purpose!" Kiera still looked impatient. "That wasn't what I asked." Hana frowned. "Of course I regret it.." Kiera put her hand on her hip. "I see." If Evelyn didn't know any better, she would have seen Kiera as assessing Hana. "Sister, I forbid you to change into your wolf form until further notice." Hana looked alarmed, as did Evelyn. "Wha'?!" "Kiera you can't just put a ban on it. Its a natural thing for her." Kiera looked unamused as she looked to Evelyn. "Look at you, deciding for once that people should be allowed their unhealthy natural ways without incrimination." Kiera shot a look before turning around and walking back inside, leaving Hana and Evelyn a little choked up.

*Shortstraw watched keria go in and stepped up, "you got off lucky hana. She really really loved mai. Besides, this could help you gain more control over your turning. Your going to have to focus though. Who knows what she would do if you did turn to your form. If i were you, i would be vary carful okay." He patted her head and looked to evelyn, "that went way better then i expected." He shied, "though i guess it's a lession. For all of us. One way..." he looked to hana, "or another. So mais death isn't in vain at least." He turned, "it's too bright out here, lets go back in." He suggested sadly.

Once inside, Kiera made her way over to Mai again and did her best not to cry as she filed her hands under his limp body. "I'm so sorry boy.." She knelt down and put her face against his fur, still trying although failing to not cry. "I should have spent more time with you... And-" She finally started to cry as she pulled him close. "Because you protected me and stayed by my side so many times.." She went into a full out bawl. "You just wanted to be with me... I wasn't there to protect you this time.." As Evelyn walked back inside again she now saw that the stunt out there was just Yang being brave while Ying fell apart. Evelyn was never good at comforting, so she just pulled Hana along with her into the kitchen and left Kiera with Mai. "Has sister been through a lot of things with Mai?" Hana asked, getting pretty upset as she just saw her sister crying for the first time. She didn't know adults cried like children. "Yeah... You could say that."

*Shortstraw slowly walked up to keria and sat down, looking down sadly. He was there if she needed a shoulder to cry on, but he had no idea what to say this time. He sat there beside her with a sad expression, looking down. He was with hikari now, at least thats what he thought.

((Oh my god a really sad song came on when I was writing the last post and I just started to cry too xDD but I gotta go now, cya ^^))
Evelyn sat on the table and dragged her hand through her hair. "Well Ying will blame herself. Yang will most definitely blame you." Hana rubbed her eyes and sniffed. "Ying and.. Huh?" Evelyn yawned. "Kiera's severely bipolar, get with the picture kid." Hana looked down. "Oh... Seth had that.. But it was mild I think.. He'd just snap sometimes." Evelyn scratched her head. "Yes well.. Kiera's a very unique case.." Kiera sobbed into Mai's corpse until she was dry. "I'm so sorry.." She brought her head up and put her face in her hands. "Oh god, and it was like I didn't even acknowledge him yesterday.." She looked to Shortstraw with tear stained eyes. "And I just dumped him on Cyril all this time." She cried more and sunk her head to his chest.

*Shortstraw held her tightly. He still didn't know what to say right now. "He's free now. He was a great dog, so i know he's in heven. Mai did infact love you to the vary end keria, although i know you dont want to here that now of all times, but i think he will be happy up where he is now. With Hikari even. So at least he knows someone." He tryed to chukkle but failed as he rocked her alittle. He then whispered, "i'm sorry keria."

"What I don't understand is-" Evelyn looked to Hana briefly before shaking her head. "Never mind." Hana sat on one of the chairs and brought her knees to her chest. "Will sister hate me now?" Evelyn was tempted to make a snide remark but she knew that was mostly frowned upon when she was dealing with kids. She shook her head. "You should try to stay out of Kiera's way for the time being. When you're around her you don't know if it's going to be Ying or Yang or both. The only way to tell is the eyes. And mostly what comes out of her mouth." "Huh?" Evelyn looked over to her and pointed to her eye. "Yang's eyes are red. Yings eyes are gold. When they're a combined being. They're opal." Kiera felt comfort in Shortstraw. It always helped when he rocked her, she wasn't sure why. However after a little time Kiera calmed down, and she sat up properly again, rubbing her eyes. "I gotta.. deal with it." She sniffed and looked to Mai once more. "And I.. have to get him out of here." She looked to Shortstraw and gave a weak little smile. "Thank you." She carefully stood up with Mai in her arms, and although her knees buckled a little, she still managed to turn and walked towards the door.

*Shortstraw appeared behind her moments later with a shovle on his shoulder, "he desirves a real grave. One close to home like hikari." He walked with them outside, however walked ahead to go ahead and start digging the grae, so by the ime she got there, it was time to put mai into his barrle as he dropped the shovel and helped keria place him down inside. This was a sad moment, but he was doing well with being strong, this time, for keria.*

"Oh.. Okay." Hana looked to the table. "Would sister hurt me?" Once again Evelyn was tempted to make a sarcastic comment however kept it to herself. "She'd hurt anyone of us without a second thought, kid." Hana frowned. "Even the human?" Evelyn laughed. "Maybe not him." Hana looked down again and sighed. "I really didn't mean to do that to her dog." Evelyn scratched her head. "I know you didn't. But you might have a hard time convincing Yang." "I wonder if Mai's in paradise." Evelyn turned her head. "Paradise?" Hana nodded. "All wolves dream of paradise." Evelyn made a face. "What's that, some kinda wolf heaven? I heard wolves believe in the old gods." Hana nodded. "Norse gods, yeah. Tor and Fenris." She giggled. "It doesn't matter what you believe, however. In this world, anything and everything is real." Evelyn rose her eyebrows. "That's deep. But I guess you're right."
Kiera took a breath and looked back into Mai's grave. "I guess that's that." She rubbed her eye and looked across to Hikari's grave. "Its always the good ones that die." She shut her eyes and went to hug Shortstraw tight. "Don't you go dying on me anytime soon okay?"

*Shortstraw fianlly smiled, "trust me it's going to take alot to get rid of me, you an't so lucky." He patted her back, "dont worry, i have a feeling if we ever have our time, it will be together." He kissed her cheek, "but not for at least another 4000 years or so, so that looks like we have a vary long time." He closed his eyes and rocked her again, "besides both you and evelyn have my back, and we both have your back too." He looked to her, "would you like to say some final words?" He looked to the grave, "he could be lisening you know."

Hana nodded with a smile. "I'll make sister like me again." Evelyn made a face. "I'm not so sure that's a great idea." Hana giggled. "No no! It's fine. I'll do whatever it takes! I don't want people not liking me already. I haven't been here very long." Evelyn shrugged. "It's your funeral." She glanced over to her lazily. "You mentioned some Norse gods.. Thor and.. Fernis?" Hana shook her head with a frown. "Well they're wolf gods. And they're not called that! They're TOR and FENRIS. Wolves believe they are the creators of the earth and set the boundaries between prey and predator. Or in wolf language, Putnar and Lera." Evelyn pulled another face. "You have your own language?" Hana scowled. "Sure we do. Like everything else. The alpha male and female wolves are called Dragga's and Drappa's. Lone wolves are called Kerls. Omega wolves are called Sikla's." She grinned. "And then we have a thingy called The Sight."
Kiera looked to Shortstraw sadly before looking back down to the grave. "All I can do is apologise, and knowing Mai, that wouldn't be what he'd want to hear." She shook her head.

*Shortstaw nodded and stood to grab his shovle. "Mai, i was there when you were a puppy. And i watched you grow up to the perfict lovable dog you were. You protected my keria, and cared for her all the same. For that I am greatful to you, May you rest in peice inside heven with hikari." He replied as his final words as he then started to shovle the dirt into the hole. Afterwords he then looked to keria as he placed a stone down, empty and bare. God new where it came from, or when he got it, but it was blank. He looked keria keira with a hammer and chizle in hand, "what would you like it to say?" He asked still trying to be the strong one. For keria.
