Xander a bit hesitant now after he said it that way. "Yes I am sure. It just seems like an oddity that you would be such a large animal naturally." now to Ikuto 'What is it that you want. I love Ren with all my heart but I cannot sit and wait forever. I would also rather you not threaten me.'

Roza enters the den wondering what was going on, her tail stopped wagging as she looked around, feeling Xander's hesitation, Cloud's seriousness, and of course Ikuto's seriousness.

Cloud lightly patted Ikuto on the head with his paw. "Don't say such things. It's unbecoming of you," he said. He lightly knocked Ikuto over. He was silent for a moment before he started speaking. "My last pack always had power. But other than that we were ordinary wolves. Then humans came and changed us. Pups got larger and more intelligent. This was a gradual process over a course of fifty or so years. But we stopped getting larger over ten years ago. But for some reason I was born bigger than all the others. I'm naturally this big though, because the experiments stopped about ten years ago," he said. He shrugged. "Satisfied?" he said.

Ikuto says to Xander in his mind, "Yes she was having fun yesterday, but did you ever stop to think what she was talking about when she said that there's something different about you?" Ren looked at Cloud, "So we all have a past involving the Humans... I'm sorry for bringing it up."

Roza stiffened as humans were being bandied about the room, she looked around and slunk out of the Den, sitting at the entrance and looking over the grounds like the day before.

Xander looks at Ikuto, 'Of course I did but with how she always dodged the question I never thought that would be her showing affection toward me. I do feel like a fool but you don't need to taunt me about it.' Xander started to paw the ground nervously.

Cloud shrugged again. "Was bound to come up sooner or later any way," he said. He looked at Roza. "What is her problem?" he asked. He started playing with Ikuto with the cat tail plant again.

Ikuto sighs. He then says in Xander's mind, "She was realizing it, not showing it, playing with you was showing it. And she never dodged the question as she never knew what it was." He starts playing with the cat tail again. Ren sighs, "I guess so..." she looks at Roza, "She's just recently getting over her family's death."

Roza's ears twitching as she heard mention of someone losing their entire family, she assumed they were talking about her but she ignored them. Her happy mood died as soon as she heard the word humans. You have to cheer up! she yelled at herself, yet her gaze remained locked on the surrounding grounds.

'Ikuto I'm sorry but I need some time to think. That being said for the moment I am going to shut you out.' To everyone now,"I need some fresh air I have a lot on my mind." With that Xander not giving anyone the oportunity to follow him teleports out of the Den toward his secret Rose bush half a mile from the river. Xander had an emotional break down remembering Tifa and Flame. His ex-mate and his best friend. Letting out a loud howl that could be heard from inside the Den Xander released all his emotions. There is were he would stay for the next few hours.

Strongheart had gone to the healer's area after she came back to the den. She wasn't sure of what she was going to do other than regrow the herbs that Buttercup had eaten. She walked out to the main area in the den and saw Ren, Xander, Cloud and Ikuto all talking to each other. "Hi everyone." Strongheart said greeting everyone, as she sat down.

Roza was able to pinpoint Xander's location from his howl. His howl struck her deep in the soul. Someone that understands pain, she thought to herself as her eyes filled with tears. She considered following him, but decided to just leave him be so he could think through whatever had upset him so much.

Roza looked at Ren and smiled. "I don't know Ren," her voice was rough as she spoke, heavy with unspilled tears as she looked out over the forest. She had been happy about talking to her parents and then that one word was uttered and she spiraled into a depression. She really didn't know if she was ok, she just knew that she felt really lost right now.
