James smiled politely, but his eyes shown fire. "You know I don't mind the cleaning or the fact that you broke the window....but I would like to know how the hell you knew which one to break." He pulled a frozen steak out of the freezer. "Plenty of good steak for who wants it."

"I don't see why you couldn't just spare yourself the cash and spare James his poor innocent window and take the stairs. I know they can be bad but you have to suck it up sometime so that you have a chance of getting rid of your fear. Fire escapes can be convenient I agree but scaling the side of the building? You're lucky someone didn't see you. Yes, I know, Sibyl's a nag and she's no fun, no adventure for her she's so boring but still." She was a person and wolf of her word and she did what she was supposed to. Sibyl rarely stepped out of line unless she felt there was a good reason for doing so.
Sibyl bit back a burst of laughter though she decided that she didn't care if he heard it or not and just let it all out. Since she'd started off surpressing it, when it finally came out it sounded more like a howl or a yelp as opposed to an actual laugh. It sounded like she was in pain as opposed to laughing at Jacque for having sanitized most of the apartment. He hadn't needed to tell her that he had since she could smell the chemicals throughout the place. They were actually nauseating her somewhat though she was sure that she could handle it. "Yeah I noticed that you sanitized the place, it reeks and it's giving my stomach the urge to purge, pardon my rhyming."
Her instinct told her that James wasn't exactly amused by the fact that Jacque was here in the first place and him breaking his window was kind of giving him another reason to react negatively to his presence. She decided not to interfere with that since James was perfectly capable of speaking his mind and booting Jacque out if he so wished to. Apparently he wasn't all that ticked and he was still willing to feed the lycan so that was an alright sign that things were going to be fine.
"I love steak." Sibyl stated quite simply. "If you wouldn't mind, though, I've got my wolven preferrences and I happen to prefer my meat without any seasoning or anything so there's no need to prepare mine or anything. Of course I'd like it unthawed but that's about it. Sorry to those of you that are disgusted by it but I hope that my warning was fair enough and that you understood it." Though she didn't want to make a bad impression, if these guys couldn't handle her preferrences then they would just have to be disgusted and ask her to leave or whatever it was they wanted.

Jacque grinned. "You have your secret, and I have mine. Besides, why should I tell you how I do what I do. Bounty hunting is my business, not yours. It's my business to know and find my target, and that requires alot of instinct. And after being in this business for as long as I have been, Instincts get pretty damn good."
Jacque looked at Sibyl and stuck out his tongue. "You might need to take the stairs, but as long as I can climb a building under my own power, I will."

James smiled. "Thawed it is. What about you Mr. Skyscraper climbing Wolf? And Madam Black it isn't nasty at all...I can't help but eat half rotten meat at times so I think I can deal with a wolf eating uncooked steak." James pulled out two more and a pan. He set one on the counter and let it thaw while cooking another and just setting the last aside. "I think he ran out of garlic....dang and I was really hoping he'd have some oh well." James turned and opened a cabinet pulling out a number of unmarked bottles of oils and spices. "These should do I think... So about your bounty hunter comment. Well I am a wolf hunter and it takes a lot of instinct to track them...but even I can't do that if they aren't in the room or have been not too long ago."

"I never said that I need to take the stairs, I choose to since I happen to keep a lower profile than you, apparently. What happens if people see you climbing up the side of the building and decide to film it and put it on youtube or something like that? Then again I suppose no one would believe it and they would just figure that they were techy nerds that knew how to rig the video so that it looked like you were climbing up the building." She decided to make her point anyhow and when Jacque revealed his tongue, she swiftly brought out her finger and touched his tongue with it. If he blew up in the apartment then she would take the blame but he'd given her a shot and she hadn't been able to resist the opening.
Sibyl smiled upon hearing James' own recollections about eating uncooked steak as well. "Well I suppose that works better than I thought it was going to. Then again you never know when someone will find the habit disgusting but maybe I'm just too accustomed to normal human beings that are under the assumption that the meat will make me ill." For whatever reason, Sibyl felt really good in this place. She didn't feel so different and she felt as if she belonged. It was a weird feeling for her since she never really cared about being a loner.
"Everyone," Sibyl decided to state though she wasn't really involved in this portion of the conversation, "here is a hunter of sorts and I'm sure we all have honed instincts that are specifically sharpened for what we hunt. Not to mention all of us have a bit or a lot of wolf in them so the instinct from the wolves helps as well. I maybe ramble a lot about it but since I'm a wolf I tend to do so and give a little bit of credit to my race since I'm proud of my heritage. Do silence me if I sound as though I'm boasting or if I become overly obnoxious or irksome with my interjected comments."

James held back a laugh. The sneezed as he poured a spoon full of salt into the pan. "s**t! Too much....well not by human standards....but now it's gonna taste just slightly off....grrr." He pulled a bottle of Vodka from the fridge and poured half into the pan. "....******** that still didn't help." He looked up frowning slightly. "Ya know salt is just a b***h when you put too much in." James put the pan off the burner and grabbed the thawed steak and put it on a plate and grabbed a knife and fork. He walked around over to Sibyl. "Your steak Madam. And as for hunters, yes we are...though I would suggest if I ever start firing around you guys leave before I see you. I wouldn't want to hurt you." He said the last sentince while looking into Sibyl's eyes.

((Hello! Happy Several Days After Thanksgiving!)) Braig walked around the high rise buildings. He had feasted well on Thanksgiving, and wouldn't require food for a while. For now he just hoped for interesting conversation.

Sibyl giggled as she watched James sneeze and accidentally spill too much salt into the pan whilst doing so. She couldn't help but wonder if Jacque would even accept the steak any longer now that James had sneezed within the vicinity of the meat. "I'm sure that Jacque will be fine. His biggest complaint will likely be the fact that you sneezed next to his piece of steak, assuming that is his steak of course. Almost anything is a b***h when you dump too much of it into your cooking. That's about the only thing that I've learnt from cooking."
It was now fairly easy to trust James now that she'd gotten to know him better and knew the reason why he seemed to volatile at first. She sympathized for him in the sense that he was more or less a reject from anyone's standards and that he couldn't undo what'd been done to him. Then again she wasn't even sure if he disliked having a wolf in him despite the fact that he had such a difficult time controlling himself. She knew that it could be hard to control natural urges but eventually you got used to it.
Sibyl accepted the steak with a simple nod of silent thanks and accepted the utensils though she did not plan on using them. "Sorry but I have extremely bad table manners and I tend to prefer not using utensils. That civilized part of humans I have never managed to pack down and I only use utensils when I'm trying to fit in so as not to attract a whole load of attention to myself as I tend to dislike the spotlight enough as it is."
As she ate with only her hands, which would be her paws but she wasn't about to freak them out further by flashing into a wolf in order to devour her meat she listened to James. Upon listening to him talk about him being a hunter, she happened to look over to him and in that moment he was looking into her eyes and showing his sincerity with his eyes. Her instinct told her all she needed to know and she trusted that James meant what he said without her instincts telling her so. "I wouldn't plan on hurting you either so I guess the feeling's mutal," she said with a sheepish smile while looking into his eyes, blood dripping from her lips.

James nodded to himself mostly and went back to the cooking. "Well the steak in the pan is mine and I find salt messes things up for me more than anything else. I also assume since you aren't going to use a fork or knife you won't mind if I don't." He looked to Jacque. "I figured you'd want to make your own tomake sure it was clean...though if you wish I will make it for you I truely do enjoy cooking and would not mind." His voice was calm and pleasant as he spoke to Jacque.
He sat down with his steak on the floor infront of the TV. He turned it on and flipped to a documentry on lions. "I hope you all don't mind it is a habit of mine when i get the chance to eat in doors and near a TV."

Sibyl continued to devour her steak rather ungracefully to most but to those who truly took in the scene would notice how carefully she shredded the steak so as to get as much out of it as was possible. She also separated it into proportions which happened to be the fat and the extremely tender meat. She was used to having to butt in to get her food but here she didn't have to do any of that so she could separate it if she so wished. It would have been easier had she been a wolf and then there would be no blood all over her mouth but she decided that she would spare them the whole wolf thing for now.
Once Sibyl finished her steak up, she travelled to the sink and deposited her dish into it but not before lapping all of the blood up off the plate. The blood was absolutely wonderous and it was a huge reason for why she loved eating her steak raw so much. The only thing that could make this steak better would be if it had been a fresh kill so that the blood wasn't so freezer-burnt since her sensitive tastebuds could taste a very defined difference in taste. Her diet mainly consisted of fresh meat, though so it was no surprise.
After lapping all the blood up off the plate she then began licking her hands since she licked her paws when she was a wolf. She then carried herself into the living room and seated herself further away from the t.v. than James, lying on her stomach as she observed the lions. Sibyl rarely watched t.v. but this was a nice change and though she sometimes had a tendency to growl at other animals on the t.v. she tried to remind herself that she was trying to act somewhat human so as not to creep James and Jacque out completely. She didn't care all that much but she respected them enough to keep some human traits. "I don't mind at all."

James stopped half way through his own steak to watch her lap up the blood and lick it off her hands. After she was done he swallowed harm and got back to eating his steak. The blood from the almost raw steak never went anywere besides his mouth. The plate was clean when he finished and set it in the sink. He glanced at Sibyl's plat, smelling what little remained of the blood, but sat back down on the floor. He watched the TV with his head slightly tilted to the left, his right eye closed.

Sibyl felt slightly uncomfortable knowing that she was being observed but she was sure that it was merely because James found her behaviour strange. Then again maybe he was simply seeing if she was as wolf-like as she claimed to be and he didn't have a problem with it seeing as though he was eating his steak just like she was. Apparently he wasn't all that disgusted by his wolven traits, which was a good thing since many humans that inherited or received wolven traits found them absolutely repulsive and refused to go along with their natural instinct.
When James stood up to put his plate away, Sibyl simply remained where she was and observed the lions for a moment before closing her eyes. If she wasn't watching the entrancing television then maybe she wouldn't be so drawn into it and accidentally bark or growl at it. Her eyes remained closed even as she felt James sit back on the floor beside her. She had her head rested upon her crossed arms, her chin and mouth completely hidden from view so that all that was seen of her fact was from her nose and up.
As she listenend to the documentary as opposed to watched it, she decided to ask James about it. "So do you enjoy animal documentaries and watch them often or are you just watching this because it happened to be the first channel that was there when you flipped this thing on?" Her curiousity was pretty exceeding and she found herself almost always asking questions.

ke learning about animals. Truth the only real reason I agreed to the experiment was because I had hoped it would give me a better chance to understand the animal part of Lycans....as well I hoped that fact would help me kill them." He growled low in his throat as two male lions began to fight. He didn't seem to notice it.
He twitched as the fighting excited him slightly. "I am going into the hall for a smoke, be right back."
He got up and stepped outside into the hall.

((Sigh, waiting doesn't occur to either of you? Since now I can't really make Jacque blow up at the touching part, because he would have done that, and now it'd just be a complete waste of time because it's so delayed. More than two people needs some waiting, unless you've been told that they are leaving for two days. grumble grumble, i'm not bitter, just complaining about something that probably only I care about. But anyway. I'll just ignore that completely now, cuz I have no other choice.))
Jacque grinned and looked at james. "I'm not hungry at all, I already ate."
He tilted his head, and with a twinkle in his eye said. "I only came because I was invited."
As soon as James stepped out of the room, he sprayed the remote with sanitizer, took it, then flipped to TBS, which just happened to be playing family guy. The episode name was "Peter's Two dad's". He as a lycan, hated watching animals, he had a few broken TV's end up that way, so comics were the best way to go for him.
Turning his head to Sibyl, he winked. "Wonder when he's gonna notice I switched his cigarettes with joints. Though knowing him, probably never. Well, what little I do know of him anyway."
He took the "lycan's" plate and put it in the sink, making sure to heat up a kettle of water and pour it over the plate with lots of soap. "Gotta make sure everything is dead."
