Ihsan.al.Seif
"I'm unhurt," Ihsan said. He wasn't sure about the other boy--Ayu called him Rose--because the boy sort of instantly clung to him. Rose's grip was so tight it was actually a little painful. Ihsan wasn't fabulous at reading emotions but it did seem Rose was scared. Of what, he couldn't be sure. Perhaps because he was almost crushed to death beneath an avalanche of books? That did seem like it would be somewhat terrifying.
"You're also fine," Ihsan assured him, placing his hands on the other boy's shoulders in a not-quite embrace. He wasn't pushing him away because he really saw no need for it (especially since he wasn't even entirely sure what was going on) but he did hold onto Rose firmly just in case...of...he wasn't sure what, really.
"We will right the book shelves," Ihsan assured Suzanne, amused by her anger. She was fascinating. He wasn't sure he'd seen such a passionate tirade since he arrived. He sort of wanted to make her angry again just to watch her rant. But for now, the books were more important. "Rose. Let's go fix the shelves."

"Just because I'm pretty......" ❤Ayu saw how Rose clung to Prepuce... Seems like the boy had a severe trauma almost being buried under the shelves and with the books of course... Glancing over Suzanne, Ayu nods and somehow sighed.. While looking at the bracelet made by her for Prepuce and decides not to give it... In a certain point like they were obligue to clean the said mess..
She just slid it inside her pocket and knelt to start picking up the books while waiting for the two to fix the shelves back..❤ "....doesn't mean that I'm happy!"

Terra wasn't really sure what to do once they got back from the field trip. After all, she'd had, what, three days in this new place before she was whisked away and then brought back and expected to know what to do? Whatever. She had a mission. So she headed to the library. But the school was awfully empty... Terra didn't see anybody else on her way. Well, that's to be expected, due to summer vacation, but surely there would be some people around? Really nerdy kids or something? Unless she wasn't supposed to be here. Well... Then that's just too bad. This was important. When she entered the library, Terra was rather overwhelmed by the store of books there. This was... well, it was a library. With the signs to guide her, Terra made her way over to the non-fiction books, and scanned the shelves until she saw something useful. "The History of Frogmen: Underwater Military Operations," Terra read the title aloud. Perfect! If the military could do it, so could she. Yanking the book off the shelves, she sat down right there and opened it up, flipping through the pages in hopes of good information. But the whole thing seemed to be just the history. When it happened, where it happened, various types of frogmananing, but nothing on how it was done! Ah, well, it seemed like they all had tons of equipment anyways, Terra thought regretfully, before standing up and shoving the book back on the shelf. Moving down the row a little ways, she continued reading titles, hoping for a book on underwater combat, without having to have a ton of crap tied to her back. “Never be bullied into silence. Tarik-Khaldun Sayyid "My only value is not just my face."_________________________________________Tarik had been hard at work, but he had come across a road bump. He entered the library holding a bright yellow book under his arm. It was very thin and it was from that same author who knew of these magical and amazing creatures that Tarik had never seen before. He was wondering if he could find someone in the library for surely a place with books could be the location of people who could help him with his problem.
Tarik was sure that what is being told in the book was something that should be done "in" something, but he couldn't read the majority of the words. There was a word spelled out as 'read' but Tarik could not read 'read' and kept pronouncing it as "ray-ad" and he knew no such word as "ray-ad." The problem was that it was used all the time in the book. He knew that it had something to do with reds and beds and that made Tarik feel very worried about the contents of the book. There st that "ray-ad" could be done in was unreadable to Tarik.
So he had to find out what that word was so he could unravel the mystery of the book! However, the library was empty and even Angela was not anywhere to be seen. Tarik looked around the library for at least a soul that could help him with his predicament until he found a girl looking through shelves. Ah... perhaps she was like Angela and could read as well? But... trusting a woman's intelligence was a bit... iffy. He'll just ask for her help and if it didn't make sense, then she was obviously a normal woman that knew nothing but... womanly things?
"You. I require assistance. This book. You must tell me what this word is. It baffles me." Tarik said to her as he went over to her and showed her 'I can read with my eyes shut by Dr. Seuss.' He pointed to the word 'read.' "I cannot read this. I can word with my eyes shut. This person is doing something without his eyes. It must be some kind of unique technique that I probably will want to learn." Tarik said to her._________________________________________ "My greatness is revealed only when I'm naked." - Prince Ludwig

No. No. No. No. Why are there no books on underwater combat!? Surely it's not that impossible! There had to be a way, other than just trying to drown the other person. What was the problem? Weight? In water you were practically weightless, you couldn't use your weight against them. But Terra wasn't all that big, so that was probably a good thing, no opponent would be able to overpower her just because he was bigger. So shouldn't it be easier to fight in water? But-- Her thoughts were interrupted by a guy carrying a book and demanding help. Terra glanced down at the book he was carrying and laughed, then looked up at him with suspicion and amusement. "Are you pranking me or something right now? You can't read the word "read"? That is soooo ironic." This had to be a joke. No way anyone his age would legitimately be reading a Dr. Seuss book, let alone not able to. Although... how does this character read with his eyes shut? It had been a long time since Terra had read any of Dr. Seuss's stuff, and most of it was, indeed, impossible, but... reading with no eyes? That seemed a little odd. "Anyways, ha ha, you are so clever, funny joke, I bet all your friends are behind the shelf laughing. Whatever." Suddenly an idea dawned on her. This guy could maybe help. If it was true he couldn't read, he must know how to fight, right? That's how the world worked. "Hey! Do you or any of your hidden friends know how to fight underwater? It's really important."“Never be bullied into silence. Never allow yourself to be made a victim. Accept no one's definition of your life, but define yourself.” - Harvey Fierstein

Young Master Oz Vessalius No worries! Although I'm still a little confused on how this works. When the time skips happen, do we just assume something interrupted whatever the characters were doing before they could finish, or...?

phantomturtle Young Master Oz Vessalius No worries! Although I'm still a little confused on how this works. When the time skips happen, do we just assume something interrupted whatever the characters were doing before they could finish, or...? I think we can assume... reasonable things or just be very vague upon the next encounter or when thinking back on the scene? Like in this case, we could assume that they chatted for a bit and something came up which made a very short chat. But if you really want to wrap up the scene, we could always post in the slow paced RP subforum. XD

Sorry, I just wasn't sure how it all worked, since this type of thing seems to happen a lot. xD And don't worry about it, being vague and such is fine. Thanks!

Lara Watson
▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄
Lara nervously glanced out of the window. Her stomach growled. Fidgeting in her seat, she went back to her detective novel. It was at its climax but she kept getting distracted by hunger. Usually she would just grab a snack but this was one of her 'special' cravings. One year of being a vampire and she still could not handle these kind of things. Currently, she gets her food from mail order from some website. She had very little knowledge about this site but it did say something about helping "vampires" and the like. Her father first told her about it. He sure had shady connections. I guess I better check out the infirmary. (exits to infirmary) ((just a post to kinda explain where exactly she gets her food from, kinda crappy i think. Editted))
