Yes! I remember! Sango reminded me of mango. So...In a way it related to something citrus-y, but only in my mind...>_>
I'll think as quickly as I can! D: I have to decide on whether I want male or female. Maybe flip a coin. Because that's fun.
I know I can't own a business right away because of my newness and all, but would self-employed count under that? I was thinking of claiming the mechanic/repairman spot.

@Mint -- Really? O-o
I think very few people on the Island even have cars. Xeiro's probably the only one I can remember who actually owns a car and uses it, but I'm sure the Mayor has a few... not that Gaston ever used one, I mean. =w=

Well he/she could repair other things...like...uh...refrigerators? xP ....You may have a point. Mechanic just sounds cool... But maybe I'll go with a Movie Theater employee, or a farmer.

You could say he has NPC employees elsewhere, but I'm just saying that you should make sure. I honestly only remember Xeiro owning a car, although I'm sure other people have cars, too. =w= So that means minimal PC activity within the workplace. D=

Well more people need to use their cars...D< (Although, it's pointless in a small town...) -edit: yes...RVs!! Maybe there is some hope... But maybe for now I'll can make a character who couldn't find enough work as a mechanic and is now trying to work on a farm or in the movie theater. It works out...I think.
On a random note...Have you played the newest HM at all? The tale of two towns one?

Hello Minty =D
Well, the mechanic/repairman IS listed in the job list XD So there must be a use to for it D< And people have used/mentioned cars in different occasions, Brian being the last one to do so, and it's not because there isn't cars mentioned that he can't repair npc's car or other thigns, like you said, refrigerator or, I dunno, a lawn mower. People must mow their lawn D<.

Welcome to the guild, Minty~ =D
Don't worry, self-employed doesn't count as owning a business. =w= You can take whichever one you want. Mechanic/repairman included, since it's on the list of available jobs, it's fair game~
There are things to repair! Repairmen don't just repair cars, Osaka. They can work on appliances and other mechanical things. Tractors! I bet the farmers would need a repairman. And just because no one explicitly talks about having a car doesn't mean they don't. I bet the Sonata's have dozens just BECAUSE. And the workplace thing would be a problem for really any of the entertainer/self-employed jobs, since you know, they don't have a steady workplace. Doesn't make it a reason to not take it, if you want to make a mechanic. Besides, you're self-employed, who's going to fire you for not showing up?

@Minty -- Well, walking does save gas. =w=
@Lone and Loli -- I was just mentioning that example, but I guess I hadn't thought of the other ones. =P
And, by the way, I HAD thought of the Sonatas having lots of cars just because. >>

Hi! Thanks, it's nice to be here, everyone is so friendly~
Hehe...Yes. I shall get my greasy mechanic! I hadn't thought of tractors...That's a good one. Or lawn mowers...
After reading the Sonata family's bios...They certainly do sound like the interesting bunch.

And let's not forget Lilia's pony-pulled carriage. It's asmuch important as cars if not more! 9w9
So, Osaaka, when are we going to see those profiles of yours?

I'm doing Bela's now, and afterwards I'll be moving toward making Gemma's. I'll try to finish both by tonight, I promise. ='o
If I can throw Sawyer in there as well, I'll try. ;D

@Minty: They ARE interesting =D
@Osaka: Well, after a month of waiting, I think it's about time someone pressures you! razz ..... why not, you know, write it on the computer so it's done instead of doing it in a notepad? That seems a bit counterproductive to me o-o Especially since you're using a computer right now.
