There was the sound of something exploding, it was deafening and one would certainly believe that something blew up. Then the sound of a whirlwind, like a tornado ripping things from the ground and hurling them around, the noise all deafening. The ground trembled and then suddenly all fell silence.
Oddly he walked back inside calmly, finding Lyric on the ground, he figured Orcus had gone, Lucifer spoke quietly, but the deadly tone couldn't be mistaken, "Lyric I will ask you once, and one time only DID you know about this?"
If one were to walk outside, for miles they'd see nothing but leveled ground, dirt and debris, the only one's safe were in his pyramid, for miles all the way around, there was leveled debris, no buildings or well...life...

Lucifer's eyebrows went up, and his words came out slowly, in a restrained manner, "You weren't aware? My strongest psychic...wasn't aware?" his voice took on a nasty snarl, "EVERY SINGLE GUARD IN THEIR BUILDING WAS AWARE!!! and you remain oblivious? YOUR ENTIRE JOB IS TO BE AWARE!"
Morrigan's eyebrows shot she thought he may kill the man and that would be a waste, so...Lyric raised her...and she may have grown up seeing him like a father figure...she MAY have a soft spot for him...she wouldn't admit THAT. She was however up and across the room, she put her hands on her father's shoulders, making him look down at her.
"Father, you're angry, you're loosing your head, you need that, it isn't his fault, think now that you've pretty much destroyed everything around us, we need someone on the inside...it works better if they are destroyed from the inside out...he has MANY uneasy allies...use that, I don't mean to be cliche but don't get mad...get...even."

Well that was JUST fabulous, she was being assaulted by fear and anger from all directions to a point where she didn't know if she wanted to run or deck the nearest person, it wasn't even Lucifer's anger...no...she could feel the anger of the two older twins. She could feel the fear of everyone and between the two they almost balanced out equally, she was glad Lucifer himself was telepath proof.
She stood to obey but she found herself rooted in one spot her fight or flight reaction in full effect however she couldn't decided which one so she froze.
"Hey you okay?" one of the others asked her.
She shook her head, but didn't say anything else, with an abrupt shove in a single direction she was snapped out of her stupor. "Better?"
She nodded, her heart was still in her throat, and most of it wasn't her own fear, everyone one was terrified and most didn't know what was going on, Lucifer was angry and people were dying. It had taken her longer than they'd probably have preferred, but she made it there her arms wrapped around herself as if to ward off...well anything. Yes?
Lucifer looked between the two, slightly annoyed by the silence, his arms were crossed and Morrigan was now looking at the girl appraisingly, "She looks skittish, Lyric,"

Lilith's almond shaped eyes widened, her face went slack, her eyes darted in disbelief from Lucifer to Morrigan then finally settled on Lyric, Lyric did he damage you when he left your brain? That has got to be the worse idea I've heard save for sending Mal to fetch them, because HE'D eat them before we even left!

Lilith's eyes turned into that of an almost pained plee, So...let me get this straight...You want me to walk into the place that death lives...that in in of itself...sounds like an oxymoron...and impossible...with the single most annoying people I have ever met...and steal his children back? You...have got to be crazy...
Lucifer's eyes narrowed further as the girl didn't 'say' anything, but clearly she was communicating, clearly arguing with him. Lucifer's jaw clamped shut, before he snapped, "Speak child, and it better not be to say more than the fact that you are completely compliant,"
Her mouth opened and closed and she fell completely silent her gaze falling to her feet. As if she wasn't quiet enough, it seemed she grew even more quiet.
"Or are you deficient in some way?" Lucifer snapped again, grabbing her by the chin and tilting her face up to his.
Lilith's eyes darted from left to right, as she avoided eye contact, starting to feeling a bit anxious she quickly shook her head in response hoping to shake his grip truthfully.
"I'm going," she said in a barely audible voice, making Lucifer strain to hear her.
Lucifer gave her an odd look and then looked to Lyric and arched an eyebrow.

Lucifer let her go seeming satisfied with his answer, as satisfied as he would get at the moment, meaning he wouldn't kill either of them.
Lilith sighed, she hated babies, they were big bundles of emotions, and damn, he had to go and appeal to her emotional side, it was a cheap shot at an empath...but it worked, Where's Sage? she said giving in finally.

I am not him...I've been upgraded to awesome...  Thorn Ѻ'Ηᴀᴎᴎᴀ Thorn was definitely looking to stay out of the line of fire, heard through the grapevine what happened, he wasn't on duty that day, so it wasn't his business. He was content to stay here and drink...he was...until the small Asian girl was giving him that look...and no it wasn't the 'Thorn I want you now' look. He would have been okay with that, it was the, Thorn we're going to do something stupid because Der Leader commands it.
"No, no, no, no, Whatever it is if it doesn't involve you naked I'm not interested..."
Who said any of you had a choice? she told him mentally.
Thorn hated that she did that...it was a nerving, he had enough voices in his head.
"Nope, I'm drinkin' and there is no way you can convince me otherwise, THIS is not my problem, whatever it is..."
He's irking my nerves ALREADY, she 'said' to Lyric in annoyance with the man.
