Claire didn't see what was so wrong with Roch. He was hot. And tall. And purple. She smiled at Danny's laughter awkwardly.
"He's not that bad. And we were dancing and I got distracted..." She shot a quick glance at Moure before answering her again.
"Dating." she said, still smiling like a derp.

 Cady hit the next button boredly, while watching an instant replay on some of the dance action by their winners on her Scram-corder. Now Playing Scary Monsters by David Bowie [1:30 - 6:00 PST]

She shook her head slowly, grinning as the water in her helm sloshed with the movement. "You could sssay sssomething like that, but not exxactly," was the cryptic reply. "I am learning asss I go along, sssinccce it'sss very different dancccing on land inssstead of in the water."The ghoul made a jaunty little flourish with her hips as he spun her, having a fine time. This was the lightest she had ever felt on land, energized by the music and the crowd, but especially by the attentions of her dance partner. "You mussst let me know when you need a break, or I will end up keeping you busssy all evening!" Not that she minded monopolizing his time if he didn't, but it did seem logical that the dapper young boil might have some other friends about.

With every step Mac took, she could feel her cheeks getting redder and redder. Lizzy was about to back up even more when realized that there was a wall behind her. As she was about to scoot to the left, she realized that she had been trapped on both sides, with Mac being reeeeeaaaaalllllly close. Was it uncomfortable? A week or so ago, maybe... Right now, however? Not at all... In fact, as she tilted her head down to avoid direct eye contact, eyes eventually rolling up to look at Mac through her lashes, her blush deepened; she actually liked it. The urge to reach out and pull him closer was there, but she wasn't sure if that was... Appropriate, given how they were just moments ago.
Not that she was going to admit to liking being pinned to a wall in the first place!
"W-what do you mean because 'you're you'?" She asked; what sort of an explanation was that? Of course she's herself! Again, she didn't quite really understand, causing her to pout a little as she looked up at the boil; was she such a horrible person? Sure, she had her flaws, but... Everyone was flawed in their own way, right?

Uh oh. Had she offended Claire? This could be awkward.
"Wait so, you ran off without him?" Danny asked. She was getting confused with Claire's story. Was she abandoned or not? WHO WAS SHE GOING TO CONSOLE! The song over the speakers changed and Danny smiled. It was by that guy with the funn hair, right? "Ooh I know this one! We should dance." Turning to Moure, she whispered, "You dance at proms, right?" It wasn't that she was trying to keep Claire out of it, she simply didn't want to embarrass herself in front of a potential new friend.
Danny let out a little squeak when Claire said dating though. "D-dating? Oh no no no. Moure and I are not dating." She unhooked her arm from his as if that magically meant they weren't dating at all. Danny shook her hands in front of her as if to say "nope all clean!" Her mouth was terribly twisted in embarrassment as well.
She realized she could've been offending Moure though, so she said, "Oh, but uhm, he's a very nice boy, and I wouldn't mind, it's just I don't feel that way about him, I mean I could but I don't." Now she was bright red. Just the insinuation of dating Moure was ludacris. She looked at Moure for some backup. Surely he could clear the air, right?

" No I just got distracted and--- don't worry." she said happily. Claire flipped her hair and looked at Moure some... more. OH JACK THEY'RE NOT DATINGthere was a party in Claire's mind and EVERYONE WAS INVITED " More chance for me then, ha?" she half-joked and with a wave and a wink she strolled away to look for her date. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAH cool

Mitsu sat quietly waiting for Shun to return her eyes looking over the dance floor once again. It had been really fun to join in for once. To feel apart of something instead of just sitting on the side lines. It left her still smiling. She would be remembering this night for a long time to come.
It was after a moment of looking around that Mitsu realized the group that had been at the table were mostly gone. Lizzy was no where to be seen and the only people who were relatively close were Xui and Vaith who looked like they would be leaving to go dancing soon. A glance at the floor and Mitsu could glimpse people here and there. She hoped everyone was having fun.

Once he had everything in hand, Shun went on and returned to the table, carefully setting down the drinks and plate of treats.
"I hope this is alright," he murmured before sitting down again. Looking at Mitsu, he noticed that she was still beaming from earlier. She didn't really look so nervous any more which was nice.

Riley disengaged from Malodore quite suddenly, pressed her finger to the tip of it's beak, and hopped off the stage. One of her tentacles slid across the table before anyone could notice, stole three cookies from Shun and Mitsu's plate, and Riley was back on the dance floor before Malodore could even react to the loss.

It was hard to hear anything over the music and people around them so for once Mitsu didn't know Shun had returned until a plate was set down by her along with a drink. Eyes lighting up she looked over the plate of treats thoughtfully trying to decide what to choose first. "Yes, thank you."
After an elimination process in her mind Mitsu grabbed a spookie off the plate and began to nibble. All the food was good and the sweets were no exception. "I wonder who made the spookies...they are so good." Though as she looked down again Mitsu noticed there were some cookies missing....and Shun hadn't taken any....had she imagined them being there?

Roch hadn't quite known what to do about the whole "My brother is kissing someone" problem. There were a few different scenarios going through his mind about what the big deal was, and none of them were things he wanted to get involved with. But he had followed her--
Until he saw who she ran into. Moure and Danny? Together? He frowned, wondering how the two had ever met, then shrugging it off. Well, Claire looked happy, and he REALLY didn't want to stand there being called "Stupid Roch" by the most idiotic chick he knew for an hour or two and--
His ears twitched as he heard the sounds of the games again. Maybe just a few minutes, he decided, racing off to play. Danny and Moure would keep Claire busy!

Mac noticed the deepening blush, oh did he notice it. Luckily soon enough he has her pinned against the wall, really unable to go anywhere else unless she pushed him...or ducked and ran. He liked that bit of control, it was a little treat to see her act so meek. The meaner part of him was probably enjoying this a little bit too much, especially when she finally looked up at him...and that pout Oh, that pout had his attention for a moment or two; the curve of her lips, the red flush across her pale face. Oh yes, maybe enjoying this a little too much.
"What do you think that means?" He chuckled, her confusion over the matter more than amusing. Oh, this was just...too tempting. She was too tempting. Once he was sure that the ghoul wouldn't run from him again, Mac lifted a hand, nudging it gently under her chin to tilt her head up towards him; the Reaper leaned in as he did, claiming her lips with a kiss.

"I don't-" She begun, although she never did finish her sentence, because for the second time that month, Mac was kissing her. She froze momentarily before quickly relaxing, her blush deepening again as she closed her eyes, just... Leaning into the kiss, her arms rose to wrap around his neck to bring him closer, just like that first time...
She was so into it she forgot that they were in a public place, outside a school gathering.
Whoops.

When Petro returned to them from doing that dance, Tsetsiliya's blushing expression faded into one of masked confusion. Had to? Would've done it earlier? She blinked, trying to sort it out as Colette and Petro tried to figure out what to do next. The boil had returned and promised himself to them for the rest of the evening so that was all well and good. What next?
"U-Uhm, the table idea is sounding good to me," she replied with a smile. "We are at least putting our things in one place, yes?" Yes, a good idea to her. She scanned the room for a free table, and spotted one tucked near the dance floor - close enough but not too close. A few other students lingered in the nearby tables. Her mother had always taught her that one shouldn't sequester themselves away during a party but at the same time not always be in the thick of the action - seen but not causing a scene, she would say. "Ah, this one, yes?" She walked with the group towards the table and draped her furry stole over the back of one of the chairs once they arrived. The bouquet she set on the table, and in doing so she remembered her idea from earlier.
"A-Ah, I am going to get something from refreshments," she said to the other two. "Are you two wanting anything?" She waited momentarily for the two to answer, and then looked over towards the refreshment table, eyes peeled for water. Those flowers would look lovely in her windowbox nursery, after all!
