I'm actually not sure. I think you've just got to mean it. If you want to actually bind someone with ropes and make sure they can't get out of it then you've got to mean it. Of course i wasn't intending on hurting you by making the ropes so tight .. i guess i just meant for you to be wrapped so tight.

If you want to actually bind someone with ropes and make sure they can't get out of it then you've got to mean it. Of course i wasn't intending on hurting you by making the ropes so tight .. i guess i just meant for you to be wrapped so tight.
Callysto pulled her wand from her robes and held it in front of her, "I think I'll take a little time to practice...Incarcerous!" She shouted.

Ravenclaw, 2nd Year
He skipped up to the statues and directed one purely with his legs toward an unoccupied space, waddling like a penguin trying to balance an egg under it while walking. He shoved the statue against a wall with a pelvic thrust, temporarily disorienting it, then pointed his wand at it and drolled, "Slugulus, erecto." The statue stood still, but too still. Nothing was happening. Nam was ready to try the spell again, but then the statue hiccuped and a butterfly fluttered out of it's mouth and through the room. While I much prefer this effect --- how and why do I keep having a completely different effect than the one intended? He gaped hopelessly at the monarchs attempting to find their way out of the room. Perhaps I need to read about the fundamentals...
Then in the corner of his eye he saw something fly up. When he saw Callypto hanging helplessly bound in the air with her bottom side showing, he had the urge to head butt the guy who'd cast the spells on her. But it was an honest mistake. Supposedly. And Callypto shook it off like a salt shaker. He felt better when he saw Callypto wrap him up in tight ropes. He smirked and nodded at her.
...he still felt like head butting the guy. It'd make a darned memorable first impression. He doubted it would be very harmful either. No, there's a better way to do it...

I hurry out to class and see students attempting 'incarcerous'. I glanced around and saw everyone partnered up.
I sat down a little ways from the class waiting for someone else to come so I could have a partner.

Once outside I looked around for a partner, noticing for the first time that there were very few 7th years at Hogwarts this year. Walking over to where Daemon and Callysto were standing I said,”Well it looks like we are the only 7th years in Defense this year, guess the three of us are going to have to practice this spell together.”

XxLeComtesseAndrogynexX  ((Azula... heart that was brilliant)) ((I do try my best haha.)) Aludra Yvette... "Alright beastie, we're going to try this again but this time I want you to wrap around the statue." she muttered to her wand. Aludra pointed her wand once again at the statues and concentrated hard. "Incarcerous!" she shouted. Once again the ropes flew from the tip of her wand, much more animated this time, and wrapped themselves tight around the statue. The force that they hit it with had knocked it over on its back. She smiled at her handywork and flipped her wand in her hand. "Excellent." Aludra smirked. She stuck her wand inside of her robes and went back over to her desk. She hopped up to sit on the desk with her legs dangling from the edge. While she swung her legs back and forth in an alternating pattern, she started to think about the holidays coming up. ...6th Year Slytherin

"You're so mean!" she squealed, giving him a well aimed poke in the ribs. "You're going to make me regress to checking for green scarves along my bed skirt before I climb into bed!" She giggled at the absurdity of their conversation.
He gave her a contrite look and then stuck his tongue out at her again.
"where to now? we obviously do not have class at least until tomorrow."
Ciara returned the immature gesture coupled it with a nudge to his shoulder.
"We could always meet up in the Great Hall," she suggested moments before her tummy let out a rather loud grumble.
