Dante turned to Tate when his drink was served. "Oh no its was fine. Its all part of going out and having drinks isnt it?" Dante giggled. "I mean just because ive thrown up and gotten a hangover, doesnt mean im going to stop drinking and having fun. So make them how you want sweetie." Dante said as he took a sip of this drink. Oh that was nice and wonderful like candy, sweet sour candy! "oooh oh this is bad and so good!" Dante giggled to Tate.
___

Integra came down to quick grab her drink and grab Dante's attention. She caught up with her little drag friend and stole his attention away from Vlad and Arwen. It was a slow night so she could afford to just chit chat with Dante about shoes for the next half hour.

-Pip will enter the bar whenever/if Alice does-
__________

Vlad took a sip of his drink while Arwen spoke. It wasnt until she had finished that he smiled handsomely to her and answered her inquiries. "Is there any other Englishman walking around here?" Vlad added at the Walter comment. "The shop is doing well. As for forbidden fruit.. i find it less of a curse.. and more of a ..comfort. Trust me, if you knew me, you would know why that statement holds true." Vlad said honestly.

"Im not one for commitment."
Vlad said as he reached into his coat pocket and pulled out a cigarette. He lit it and took a long drag before blowing the smoke above their heads and continuing. "I prefer friends with benefits or something of the sort. Usually, anyone i sleep with, keeps on coming back for more. I dont mean to brag but at the same time." Vlad smirked cockily. "Ive made women who usually fake orgasms.. scream my name out in pleasure." Vlad said in a purr to Arwen. "Im just a naughty boy." He chuckled darkly. "What about yourself Miss Arwen?"

_____________As a good excuse of a distraction, Arwen look over at Tate giving her a new drink. She really didn't need one but it was thoughtful of him to take care of his customer and make another fresh one. She lifted the drink and smiled at him as a thank you and brought the glass to her lips. Arwen realized she would need it to keep her cool with Vladimir. She then noticed that the pretty pink haired stripper had taken away Dante and left Vladimir with her. Not what she was hoping for. She wouldn't have minded another party member to join the conversation. The dark haired male in front of her started to talk again so she gave him her eye contact and attention as of not to be rude. It was good to hear that the shop was doing well but he quickly changed the subject back to her. Of course, she hadn't known him all the well so she wouldn't understand what he meant by it being a comfort instead a curse.

She didn't have to ask though as he soon explained the he wasn't the type of male looking for commitment for a play toy. The woman sipped on her alcoholic beverage as she watched him take a drag of his fresh lit cigarette and blow the smoke above their heads. She acknowledged this polite act and smiled at him as she set her drink back on a coaster. Her eyebrows raised at his comment on making women of the stubborn sort scream his name. For a split second that was exactly what she pictured in her mind only with her screaming it, and not some other woman. Arwen giggled at the thought and went for her drink again. She waited until he finished speaking that she lowered the glass from her lips.

"Is that so, Vladimir? Sounds like you're quite the ladies' man. I just hope you're a clean one. That would be a shame." She paused. "For others anyways." Playing hard to get. " As for myself, I don't sleep around. At least I do my best not to. My father taught me to respect myself and my body. That not just any man can have it."

Talking about it though made her buzzed, happy-go-lucky feeling slowly fade remembering again what she had already done with her boss. her smile quickly disappeared in shame and discomfort.

"I seem to have broken that rule already," she spoke quietly. Arwen snapped out of her bummer mood and faked a smile. "I do like to have fun. By fun I mean teasing."

"Of course i always use protection and i aim to please sweetheart." Vlad said with a purr, but he noticed the girls tone and fake smile. He could tell all too well, she wasnt going to be so easy to get into his bed. Plus her broken rule intrigued him, especially since he was pretty sure he knew whom she broke it with.

"Teasing is wonderful, ive always enjoyed the pursuit itself. But i cant say that i dont equally enjoy the sin. You on the other hand.. dont seem to enjoy it as much as i do." Vlad said gently as he drank down a bit of his drink. "Your father was right to teach you what he did. And im always up for a challenge, and i do so love whorshipping a womans body." Vlad said with a smirk.

"But.. on a little more serious note sweetheart. Just because you broke a rule once doesnt mean its the end of the world. Especially if it was with whom i think it was with. Germany might not remember that night, but he can put two and two together when you both wake up naked besides one another. If theres anyone to have even just a one night stand with, its him. He'll actually call you back in the morning." Vlad chuckled lightly. "Me.. im not so... good at that. Commitment scares me, but i do so enjoy my friends with benefits." Vlad added. "Hans on the other hand.. well, he's sick of playing games if you get my meaning."

_____________The guy was smart enough to use protection then. This changed her view on him again. So he wasn't all that dumb. He could even tell that she wasn't enjoying playing the game with him. That was partially true, and not true at the same time. He was a good looking man flirting up a storm with her but she was constantly being reminded of Hansel. He then spoke of her father as a wise man for teaching her what he did. This she already knew and thanked him everyday for it in her mind. Unfortunately, Vladimir had to bring up what she said and bring about the truth of it. Arwen's lips parted in surprise that he knew who she slept with already and looked away from him in shame. To help suppress her feeling, she downed the rest of the Shirley Temple and sighed. Everything Vladimir was saying was true. Germany was a good guy and he did talk to her the next morning and tried to take things on the next level. . Dating. As if a light bulb went off in her head, she began to smile at her drink.

"I see," she spoke softly.

Arwen stood up from her stool at the bar and pulled out her coin purse from her sleeve. She left money where her empty glass was and hoped that whatever was left over could be counted as a tip for the bartender even though she had already left him one. She turned to face Vlad with a gentle smile and bent over to lay a soft kiss on the side of his cheek.

"Thank you for helping me."

She stood up straight again and walked away, waving good-bye to the bartender and to Dante who was talking to the stripper.

Did he just play match maker? Ah crap! Vlad tapped his fingernails against the bar counter in thought. Arwen had thanked him and then kissed his cheek. Like.. like he was a good guy or something! Ah ********! He wanted to take her home not.. send her Hans's way necessarily! Vlad clucked his tongue and turned back to the bar and sighed. What the hell had happened there?! The plan had been to chit chat the girl up, get her liqoured up and take her drunk a** home so he could tap that s**t. But no instead he was now cupid. Vlad shook his head at his own behavior and downed the rest of his drink. When did he get so soft? Aniela, now Arwen...

"Tate i dont suppose you with both ways?" Vlad asked being sarcastic as s**t. He would call up Camelia and give her a good ride. But she had been really bitchy to him as of late. Alot of 'do it yourself you lazy a**.' came out of her mouth. Or 'im busy dont bother me, idiot'. Why the hell she was being snappy Vlad didnt know.. hormones and women were... a mystery to him.

"Oh this is lame." Vlad said as he ran his fingers through his long locks. He got up and paid for his and Dante's drinks as well as a nice tip. It was time for him to get going. Dante could always walk home with Integra or whatnot. He patted his brother on the shoulder and bid Tate goodbye.

-Exit Vlad and end night?-

Nanami had been in an unusually chipper mood all day. Haruka had commented on how strange it was, to have her bouncing around the house, singing in her awful, off-key voice. The redhead hadn't been out with a group of friends in what seemed like forever. Not since high school, at least. She eventually just became too busy with work and the baby to continue it, and by the time Haruka stared school again, she had graduated, and she was friends with people more on an individual basis, rather than as a group. So she was excited to be out with a group of people for drinks and socialization, and especially so, as she had pulled Hayden along into the plans. The more the merrier, afterall, and in their last meeting, they had both agreed to get drinks, and he had expressed an interest in meeting Gemma and Crimson, and what better way to kill two birds with one stone than having them all meet up for drinks?

Since this was a bigger deal than just going by herself, Nanami had asked a reluctant Haruka to do her make up, rather than clumsily doing it herself, and she had ended up leaving a little bit early in her excitement. She felt like a teenager again, so anxious to meet up with friends and have fun that she ends up at the given place earlier than anyone else. She liked being early, though, it let her adjust, and she did better as the earlier one, rather than coming in halfway through. And so the redhead walked into the Grindhouse and took a seat at one of the tables to wait for the others to show up. It felt weird to be sitting at a table rather than at the bar, and it only made the special feeling of the evening seem even more so. She folded her arms on top of the tables and glanced around. Usually her back was to the majority of the Grindhouse, it was interesting to see it from a different perspective.

Gemma Rhodes

Gemma had been the second to arrive, coming with Matthew. Who, as an NPC, gave this Author the gift of not having to explain, or even care, for that matter, what they were doing or talking about together. She was pretty early, she thought. But that was to be expected, considering she came with the little package of an NPC employee of this place. But, as it was going to be soon apparent, she wasn't the first one here of the people she was going to be expecting. As soon as she saw Nanami sitting at the table, alone, she darted, as outwardly discreetly as she could, to her table. Frankly, she didn't look or dress any different. In fact, she even looked especially teacher-esque today. Matthew had told her she should have dressed more casually, but she didn't know how casual. So, instead, she went for something between casual and professional. It would be difficult to tell which side it leans to more. As for make-up, she went light. Gemma usually preffered looking more natural than like that of a clown.

"Nanami!" she greeted, pulling up a chair next to the other, older woman. "You're mighty early, I might say." she said, smiling. To be honest, she would have arrived a little later, but she was a little anxious on meeting this 'friend,' as Nanami had said. So. Of course she would be here, along with Crimson, to do a double date harshly judge this so called friend of Nanami's roll out the welcome wagon to their little group. He'd have to get a tattoo before Gemma officially aknowledged him as one of her, 'buddies,' though. Maybe she could ask Nanami about it, but not yet. Too risky.

Nanami didn't have to wait for much longer before two familiar faces entered the Grindhouse, Matt and Gemma. It felt a little strange to be getting there before the bartender himself, but she couldn't feel weird for being early if Gemma was there, too. She waved hello to Matt with a polite smile, as she always did when she saw him, and focused on Gemma instead, who had just then pulled up a seat next to her. She was pleased, actually, that she got some Gemma time before Crimson showed up; she liked them both, obviously, but they had been friends first, and so they slipped off into a place that Nanami didn't feel comfortable intruding. "Gemma, I'm glad you could make it!" she greeted her brightly. She hadn't been out with friends in forever, it had been established, and she was eternally grateful that she had gotten the chance again. Aside from festivals and work, she usually didn't see them, so it was a little odd to be seeing Gemma in the Grindhouse, where Nanami usually spent her evenings by herself. "If I'm early, so are you. Ahh, but you have the connections, right?" she glanced over at Matt with a grin. "I don't know, Haruka was just really anxious for me to leave. You don't think she's getting tired of me already, do you?" she questioned pleasantly, unable to maintain the image that she was bothered by it. No, she was in a good mood, and so she was kidding. It was really the closest thing to a joke she was capable of with her sense of humor.

-Hayden Rusacanth-

A night out~ Hayden was excited about this, well he wouldn't say excited since it seemed pretty pathetic in his mind that a thirty something male would say that... but he was. Like Nanami, drinking by himself at the bar was getting too lonely. Every now and then he'd meet up with Dante or Pip, but lately the two were busy. One depressed, and the other being a father. It had made Hayden reflect on his life... He really needed a girlfriend. Celibacy was not as cracked up as nuns put it... even if it was an accidental one. The man shook his head at his thoughts before arriving at the Grind-House. It had been a while since he was last here, but things seemed pretty much the same. Now, to find that redhead. The place was just opening, so few people were around. Some die-hard regulars, the bartender, and ah! There was Nanami. That reminded him, he still needed to go by to get that tattoo. Oh he should get that for a late birthday present or something. Hayden smiled and started over to the girls, meeting them at their table. He didn't feel too out of place, clothing-wise at least. He went casual, yet not too crazy. It was fine for a night out. "Nanami" smiled the man stopping at the table. Arriving only a few minutes after Gemma had him in a reasonable time, but also intruding the girl's chat. "I'm not too late am I?" They were three, so he wasn't the last.

Gemma was glad the pleasantries were out of the way, now they could delve in some girl talk before the others arrived. But, she was a little disappointed when the conversation seemed to veer off in Haruka's direction so early. She couldn't say she didn't like the girl, but there was some friction, as hard as that may be to believe. "You know teenagers, they want to go out and do stuff alone as soon as they think they're old enough!" Gemma said, trying to hold back a comment that might otherwise destroy the whole atmosphere that they were going to try to set up for the evening. Of course, this, as it would be, involved Haruka, although indirectly, too. It would also involve a teenage Nanami and another young man.

Before Gemma could try to change the subject from Haruka however, a tall, blond man came up to them. The funny thing was, that he was asking if he was late, when, in fact, he was too early! "Ah," Gemma exhaled, now trying to muster some appropriate thing to say; Nanami was here, afterall! "What are you talking about? You're early!" she blurted out anyway, the last part cracking into a laugh near the end. He had a lovely smile. But that meant no more girl time, and who knew how much 'till her Australian friend decided to pop up? She righted her posture in her seat then, now trying to keep a lookout toward the door for signs of the color crimson red, as subtly as she could manage. Subtlety was never her forte. Turning toward Nanami, "Who's this, Nanami?" she asked, her face teetering on an uncertain half smile. It was only natural for Nanami to be the one to introduce them.

Nanami raised an eyebrow at Gemma, sending her a playfully skeptical look. She had just been kidding about her daughter, but for some reason, the answer she had received had made her forget that. For a moment, she wondered what the girl would be doing with her out of the house, but upon a second thought, she remembered that really, if Haruka really did want her out of the house for some reasonn, she'd be totally obvious. The girl couldn't lie to save her life.

Anyway, she was so wrapped up in her own private worries that by the time she did snap out of it, someone had joined their group. She broke into a grin as she made eye contact with Hayden. "Don't worry, you're not late. We're still waiting for Crimson, afterall," she replied, gesturing for him to take a seat. She lingered for a moment, just enjoying being amongst friends again, when Gemma spoke up, and she remembered her manners. "Oh, this is Hayden. Hayden, this is Gemma," she introduced the two, obviously quite pleased to be creating a connection.

-Hayden Rusacanth-

Hayden couldn't help but to laugh slightly at that. He was early! Who knew? What he also didn't know, or tended to realize, was that he was pretty easy-going. He would rarely detect if the atmosphere could be awkward or not, for he was usually comfortable unless it was to the extremes. Like a funeral, or a fight, or being in Gaston's presence. The rest were totally lost on him. Not that it really mattered in this case, because Nanami should be taking care of not making this awkward. On his ends things were fine, but Gemma seemed a little uncertain. Speaking of which, she was quite lovely. Her smile was as such, and though she was probably his age, there seemed to be a sort of child-like attribute to her. It wasn't a bad thing though, it made her look that much more youthful. Nanami, well she looked as wonderful as ever, actually even more so today. "Pleasure to meet you Gemma" smiled the male as he took a seat next to Nanami. Just because he was comfortable didn't mean he would stray from the one person he knew. As soon as he had taken the second to acclimate himself, he had to be thankful for the invitation. It had been a while since he had just been out like this. "I have to say we really did need to get out." When you arrive early at a bar? Yes... it really meant that. "I was starting to miss this place."

As soon as Nanami had given her a name to put on the face, Gemma was back to smiled and levelled gazes. "The pleasure's all ours, isn't it, Nanami?" She turned to Nanami with a playful grin, "We've been wanting to have a night out together with drinks for a long time, you just, sort of, facilitated it...?" She shrugged, palms up and a slight turn of the head. Honestly, the last time all three of the old gang had last met up together when they had given their tattoos a nice touch up. Speaking of which, "Do you have a tattoo?" She asked Hayden very suddenly. Curiosity peaked.

She had unconsciously leaned forward in her chair with the inquiry. "You see, because Nanami's a tattoo artist and I've got a tattoo. Crimson's got one, too, just so you know!" She informed him gayly, her voice's pitch giving way for excitement. Then, after a moment of thought, she turned to Nanami, once again, "You know, I've never asked if you have a tattoo," she said with a skeptical look in the other woman's direction, "Well, do you?" she asked, but her voice was back to being excited about inquiring things. Such an inquisitive little thing she was.

Nanami flash Hayden a quick smile as he sat down, shifting slightly so that she was in a more neutral position -- she didn't want to divide up her attention unfairly, afterall! "Do you come here very often?" she asked Hayden with a curious raise of her eyebrow. Not that there was anything wrong with it, she came quite a bit, too, and Gemma must have tagged along with Matt a few times. She just hadn't ever run into him, except for that meeting years ago on New Year's. Her attention was soon pulled away by Gemma, who was looking awfully cute in her eagerness. "I just wish we had done this earlier," she added. Imagine how much easier her slump would have been if she had gathered all of her friends at the same time, rather than bumping into them separately.

She was a little surprised when Gemma asked about the tattoo. She certainly was taking the tattoo buddies thing seriously, wasn't she? "Not from me at least. We'd be happy to have you join the club, though," she winked at Hayden. It seemed that all of her friends doubled as her customers, though she couldn't complain. It made her job extra fun. Resting her cheek on her hand, she looked at the two. They seemed to be getting along alright so far, and she only hoped that the good feelings would continue when Crimson arrived. She was so wrapped up in her own thoughts regarding the two (soon to be three) that it took her a moment to process what Gemma had asked. "Me?" she asked in mild surprise. She just thought it was assumed that a tattoo artist would have a tattoo, but perhaps Gemma wasn't like most of the people she knew. No, she knew for a fact that Gemma wasn't like most people. "That, my dear, is a secret," she replied with a playful wink, placing a finger gently against her lips, which were pulled into a bright smile.

-Hayden Rusacanth-

The male looked at Gemma with an intrigued look. He had registered her as childlike, but he had no idea he had pegged it so right. The woman truly was like that, it wasn't bad... It was refreshing, and it made him smile. "I'm glad to know I could... be of some use" he told Gemma. Then focusing on Nanami. "Not very often, just every now and then." Hayden didn't get much else to say besides nod to the redhead before Gemma questioned again. He didn't even get a chance to answer before she went after Nanami, who answered for him. "Now that is a secret I think we'd all like to bring to light" commented the male playfully, leaning back a bit in his seat. "Though, if this is some sort of test... You know I'm willing to do it. I just have to drop by the parlor and let you work your magic." He did want one... he just needed to go her workshop. However he hadn't decided on what the tattoo would be. Perhaps a quote? Or something manlier? A logo? Ah it was a somewhat difficult choice... It would be etched in his skin for a good deal, and he wanted something right. Something that felt right.
