Erik would've said something witty, but decided that the girl had had enough for one night. He glanced at the black rose and made a glowing blue rose grow next to Rin. "Blue is always better." he muttered and turned around.

Rin looked at the blue rose and twirled it in her hand before the petals began to turn brown then fell from the rose. She watched them fall and shook her head. "You see, you are capable of being kind. It just takes someone getting hurt for you to realize it." she said with a sigh as she laid back on the branch. She tilted her head back to look at Kira and Taylor. "What's so interesting?" she asked them.

"I did it so you'd shutup." Erik muttered. "But that didn't work apparently." The wilted rose disappered from Rin's hands.

Rin shook her head when the rose disappeared. She heard what he said and she sighed as a tear fell from her eye. "You're a lost cause you know. But so am I. Besides, I have a voice and I'll use it in anyway I please. So if I want to talk, you'll listen." she said as she crossed her arms and forced back any tears that tried to fall.

Erik scoffed and turned away.
Lena walked up to Rin slowly. "I'm sorry about him." she mumbled. "He's just.......really cranky."

Rin didn't look at Lena and she chuckled at what she said. "You shouldn't apologize for him. He doesn't deserve your kidness. He isn't grateful for anything any of you have done for him. If you ask me, you should just give up on him. There's no point in helping him." she said as she wiped her eyes. She wasn't going to cry and she definitely wasn't going to in front of Erik. That would probably only make him happy.

Erik's ear twitched as he heard them. He smirked at what they were talking about.

Rin looked at Lena and rolled her eyes. "I don't care about what he was then. Unless he wants to stop being a jerk, he'll never be who he was then. And you and I both know that's never going to happen. So just face it and move on." she said as she sat up on the branch. She crossed one leg over the other and crossed her arms, looking mature and not like a child. "I was a little like him. I used to be ungrateful and selfish. And I did change. I just changed too late. It's his choice. Not mine and not yours." she said with a scoff.

Lena looked at Rin like she wanted to cry, but held in the tears.
"Hey she was just trying to cheer you up." Roy said as he walked up to them.

Rin looked at Roy and she sighed. "You can't expect a few words and good intentions will be all you need to cheer someone up." she said, she still looked mature as she kept her arms crossed. She glanced at Lena and nodded. "But thanks for trying." she said quietly.

Erik didn't look at the group, but he slowly clenched his fists.

Rin jumped down from the tree and walked past them. She walked over to Erik and gave him a bored and uncaring expression. "You're not the only one who can be cold and heartless. Trust me, I could make you look like an angel." she said before she brushed past him and kneeled on the ground. She then dug around in her bag, looking for something.

Rin rolled her eyes and chuckled. "I didn't ask for you to be scared. I was just letting you know." she said as she continued to look through her bag. She couldn't find what she was looking for and that was when she realized that she was missing her little traveling friend as well. She stood up quickly and looked around. She whistled out and waited to see if her pet would appear.
