I'm surprised Mala's not trying to be a blacksmith/alchemist with her love of stuff.

Actually, she likes the Almost-Doctorness of the accolytes and the hawkiness of the hunters from what I've heard.

What class should I be? How can I best serve the AG army? (Besides lunchmeat for the Gator)

Be a swordie. There was a conspicuous lack of meat shields last time we played.

That's fine with me. I played swordie before.

Here're the blurbs Stream and I wrote to you about them before. domokun

Arcane Draconum
Spear knight is more versatile than 2h knight, though I won't deny that watching a 186 aspd 2h sword is crazy. If you're going spear knight you'll want this build more or less.

Bash 10
Increased HP recov 10
Provoke 5
Endure 1
Magnum break 4
Sword Mastery 10

This would probably be your best bet, though you could move around some HP points into Mag break.

If you go job 50, unlikely since you're playing on a normal server, then you can either max Mag. break and provoke or just pick a sword mastery.

Knight skills

Peco Riding 1
Cavalry Mastery 5
Spear Mastery 10
Pierce 10
Spear Boomerang 5
Spear Stab 3
Brandish Spear 10

That puts you at 48, leaving one extra point. xp Put it anywhere.

2h swordie

1h mastery 1
2h mastery 10
Bash 10
Provoke 5
Endure 1 (at least)
Magnum Break 10

that'll leave you with either 2 extra points.

2h sword knight skills are simple and you get them quickly.

2h quicken 10
Counter 5
Bowling Bash 10.

that's all you need. xp

you'll probably end up with
Pecopeco riding 1
Calvary 5

and maxing out whatever skills you didn't from the swordie skill tree.

If you're playing on a regular server I'd reccomend taking one of the sword masteries. It'll speed things up a LOT.

If you're gonna go Crusader, max Increase Hp Recovery, Sword Mastery (1 hand), and get bash to 5. Then get at least 5 in provoke so you can grab at least a level in endure (so you have the option of pecopeco riding later). I would reccomend taking at least a level of Magnum break since it adds the fire element to your sword for 10 seconds after you use it and this has helped me when mobbed by undead before.

Fortunately the three sader types are more or less built the same as swordies (skillwise), diverging only when they become saders. The main types of sader are:

Spear Sader: Less skills than a spear knight, but in addition to having spear mastery, they also have Spear Quicken. If you decide to use 2 handed spears then ignore the shield skills unless you plan on getting sacrifice... but the part of me that likes using the skills I buy says don't bother. If you are willing to restrict yourself to the leser powered one hand spears, then you can use them.

Shield Sader: Defense, Defense, Defense. You'll gain a better shield bash (40% stun and knockback), the ability to autoblock and reflect attacks, and the ability to throw your shield. A well build shield sader is one of the toughest things to kill in the game. Since they have most of the skills necessary, many shield saders add the sacrifice skill (when active you take the damage for your entire party when they get hit) since they're halfway there already.

GC sader: Unlike the other sader builds, this one trick pony (but what a trick it is!) has much less strength, sacrificing it all to have tons of intelligence and vitality. Your big gun is the Grand Cross spell. This crazy area attack does three rounds of holy damage based upon your int to everything near you. However, while casting it your defense rating drops 2/3 and at the end you take a portion of the damage from your own spell. Its a small price for breaking out the divine wrath... but nasty in the right hands.

Everything but the GC is all about lots of strength and vitality with a bit tossed to dexterity (so you consistently hit) and int (you are gonna need lots of sp for your abilities).

No matter what kind of sader you make, your most important item is your shield.

Apparently, that was only part of the problem... I still can't get to the right installation stuffs.

Could someone walk me through it via PM/AIM?

The birdies are super-cool... I think I'd like to have one of those, too, whenever I start Sakray...

But I took the little "job-test" on both RO's official site and in-game and both agreed that I should be an Acolyte...which I found fitting enough with the doctorliness that I had to go for it.

...Stuff, though... Oh, man. I want stuff. gonk

And soon you'll be able to heal yourself... also, in case nobody told you, hp and sp regen faster when you sit.

Not only am I playing Sakray, but Kane is too.
Ooh, no, I hadn't heard or noticed.

Amusingly enough, though, I tend to leave my character sitting when I'm distracted from gameplay anyway, so that works out well...

If you make another character (on Sakray), just avoid the test and go straight to Prontera. Then just go to the job changer and become whatever you want.

I'm gonna concentrate on making a sword and shield sader, then maybe make a blacksmith or priest.
