Be good...
Lorika smiled for real, a look of relief on her face. "Jessie!"
Then, once her initial reaction faded, she began to notice small things. The Captain - she'd never seen him in quite such a state, with his robe half open at the chest and damp-looking hair tousled as if someone had taken his head and shaken it. Then, she noticed that the room beyond his shoulder was lit - a far different picture to the one from the night before, when she'd put the Overseer to bed. Then, she noticed a slight movement to the right, and bobbed up slightly so that she could get a better look.
"Coline!" she said, rather more quietly. Her heart sank a little. Oh, well. She could wait until she was gone, she supposed. Maybe the three of them could have a nice chat together.
"May I come in?" she inquired "I'm terribly sorry to be troubling you."
The drow gave his assent, and she stepped inside, looking around. The room seemed to be in a somewhat dissheveled state, much like its occupant. Bits of furniture and books which had been neatly stacked and arranged when she'd been there the earlier afternoon were scattered and felled. She frowned. "Been having a wrestling match, Captain?"
He explained that the Overseer seemed to have destroyed things while stumbling around in the dark. Her face twisted with concern. "Oh dear," she whispered "I'm so sorry. The poor Lord is so confused, you know. Please forgive me for imposing him upon you."
He told her to think nothing of it, of course, and she smiled gratefully. The first warmth she'd felt since the Overseer had whispered in her ear the day before flickered up inside her. Unfortunately, with it the barricade she'd been using to lock her emotions away seemed to fall apart. The numbness she'd been using to just get on with things since she'd had time to think about her life while trudging to the training grounds and back began to fade away. It was a defensive mechanism for her. When her emotions seemed to be destroying her... she just switched them off.
Suddenly, she felt very weary. Her smile fell from its place, and for the first time it was obvious how much pain she was in, all the time, hidden just below the surface. "Mm... may I sit down?" she asked softly, moving around towards a chair without waiting for an answer. Before she sat down, however, she glanced back at Jessie, who had gravitated to Coline's side and not moved since.
She looked at them hard. They were both flushed, and wearing strange expressions on their faces, glancing at eachother often. They were standing so close together... and then, she saw it. The Captain had linked his hand with hers, just out of sight in the small distance between them.
She stared at them for a minute. Then, like a skyscraper suddenly crumbling from an explosive charge, she began to cry.
...and you will be lonesome.

Nindyn vel'uss kyorl nind ratha thalra elyhinn dal lil alust. Jessie exchanged an incredulous look with Coline. Lorika was crying - throwing her head back and positively wailing - right there in front of them. The sound was... the first few sobs were rather unnoticeable, but since then the noise had grown and become increasingly heart-wrenching.
"Rika," he said, glancing unsuredly at Coline as if for permission. He then stepped forward and took Lorika by both arms. "Rika, look at me. What's the matter? What's happened?"
To his utter shock and bemusement, she brought both her hands up and laid them on his own shoulders. Her head lolled forward... and suddenly, she was crying into his chest. Perplexed, he wanted to turn around to Coline for reassurance, but the woman gripped the cloth of his robe and wouldnt let go. He suddenly scowled and took her wrists, attempting to prise himself free without hurting her. "Lorika!" he barked "What has gotten into you?!"
Then she said something that absolutely chilled his blood.
"Ele... ele..." she stammered between sobs "H'ros natha nesst saph dos... che natha j'nesst saph uns'aa?!"
By the end, her voice had risen to a fevered pitch. He stared at the misery-racked woman in horror.
The, his face became blank. He gently guided her into the chair and, fortunately, she let go.
Moving back to Coline, he lowered his voice to a whisper. "Coline," he said quietly; sadly "I think it would be best if you went for now, my lotha'uss. It seems the priestess and I have something important to discuss."
Glancing over his shoulder to make sure Lorika was too consumed in her own despair to be looking, he leaned forward and kissed Coline on the forehead once more, raising his hand to stroke her cheek. "I'll... I'll miss you."
He then slipped his free arm around her waist, and attempted to usher her towards the door.

Unsure of what had come over the priestess Coline could only furrow her brow in worry. She just started crying all of a sudden, and as the Captain was attending to her she said... something. Undoubtedly some foreign language.
Her stance relaxed for a moment as the Captain strode back to her, asking for her to leave in a rather... unusual tone. Brushing the thought aside, she glanced back over to the priestess, the wrinkle in her brow deepening. Just what was going on? But before she could ponder more on the matter her attention was soon reverted back to the Captain as he planted another kiss on her forehead and stroked her cheek, soon inclining her towards the door.
She turned to face the Captain just outside the cabin and took one last long look at the priestess. It was unsettling to see the priestess, who was usually so collected, in such a rattled state. "I understand." she answered formally, giving her superior a bow. "I'll be in the Training Grounds should you need me." Raising her head back up she gave the Captain one last unguarded look, turned her heel, and walked away.
It would only occur to her much later that she'd left one of her gloves in the cabin.

Harata sighed. She had collapsed onto the boat, already held for them, by Willburforth, who had guessed. They had reached Barton, The Sentinel stuck under, so people could not see her, and she could not see where she was. She jumped out of the ship, after stripping, a good distance away from the shore. Reaching the shore, she glanced at the palm trees, shrugged, and managed to turn a couple of fronds into clothing. Running towards the temple, she spotted Kyo and the Overseer, and ran up, ignoring the bleeding cut on her cheek. This one won't make me faint. She caught up, and asked, "Hey. Have you seen Lorika? Never mind. Do you feel up to making a decision for the Order, Seer? Are you ready for that?" ((Grunny got sent home sick. She can't talk. Her voice is completely gone. When she did manage to speak, she sounded like ET going through puberty.)))

"Oro?" The Overseer tilted his head at Kyo, and he smiled faintly, getting better and better at hiding his emotions. His insides were a big confused jumble, yet at least it was not Kyo's fault. "No, there is nothing wrong. You and the High Priestess saw to that. I ... I ... um," Fishing around for his reasoning for walking off like that, he quickly had a small eureka-moment, and fluttered the feather, "I wished to put this feather somewhere safe before I lost it again. Feline gave it to me as a gift."
"Do you think- ..." But he stopped when Harata ran towards them with her face bleeding and a sense of urgency. The Overseer grew grim at Harata's question, and holding back his initial reaction, he didn't answer flippantly. Threading the feather between his fingers, he glanced at Kyo, and then finally, he nodded, "What is it that you need to ask me, Harata?"

“So I cried, and I begged for you to Love me love me say that you love me...” White Mage Kyo Christmas Kyo looked at Harata worried. Giving the clam to the Overseer he kissed the girl’s forehead and muttered ,”Heel”. Stepping back he took back the clam and stood close to the Overseer. He was a little irritated that he was interrupted in mid-conversation, it sounded like something important. "...leave me leave me just say that you need me I can't care about anything but you." ((Grunny I want to hit you with a bat >.<))

"Eve, you know, the clinging girl? Really cute, long blonde hair, sweet? Well, she thought she had lost you, and was so distressed she went to Barton to look for you." She sighed, realizing how that might be interpreted, and added, "Which is not your fault, or hers. Bad fate. Well, in any case, I followed, and a woman looking strangely like the Sentinel appeared. Eve, not realizing it made her stand out, tried to blend in by putting on a swagga and being smug. It did not work. I was revealed, and to let them escape, I fought once again. My old teacher actually. Obviously, I did survive, and no, I did not kill her. The Sentinel, if that is truly who she is, had forgotten everything like you. She is in a boat, locked where she cannot see where we are. Will you come talk to her? It is your choice, but it might help you regain your memory, and well, some of your powers. I hope. Please don't be angry." She looked at him, nervously, waiting for the erruption which was bound to happen.

--- --- "Sorry about yesterday. I suddenly got caught up in something and I couldn't make it back on time even if I tried." Bapp apologised to the innkeeper, who in turn was pretty forgiving.
"It's alright. There was no one else who needed a room, so it didn't cause much trouble anyway."
He smiled politely as he left the inn, walking back to the docks.
"Hehe, today turned out pretty interesting." He grinned as he walked past an alley, with a pile of knocked out thugs covered in cuts and bruises being examined by police.
===================== BOAT RIDE BACK TO ISLE DE GAMBINO =====================
As Bapp walked back to his tent, he passed by the Temple. Noticing the Overseer, Kyo, and Harata, he paused and wondered what the commotion was.
"Hmm, probably none of my business." He continued his walk back to the tent.

Holding the clam for a short time, the Overseer tried to listen and keep up with everything Harata said. He bowed his head, patting the clam before giving it back to Kyo. In the end, he wasn't sure if Harata was kidding or not. The color drained from his face, eyes wide and he stammered, before he said, his voice rising, "Wait ... what? YOU FOUND THE SENTINEL?"
As a change of pace, everything Harata had said up to that point was making sense so far, and sickly so. But the Sentinel? The Overseer bristled and fumed with unfocused rage, and he took one step in one direction and then one in the other, frustrated ... but perhaps not for a reason that Harata thought. "Where is Evelyn now? Is she safe?"
"Bapp!" Spotting the one-of-a-kind hat over yonder, the Overseer called out again, having no doubt who it was, "Bapp, please come here. I need you. There is a matter to attend to."
Unusually forward, he shot off another question at Harata, after repeating the first, "Is Eve safe? And where is this boat exactly?"

"Eve is safe. The Sentinel is passive, not herself. She has no memory, like you, no skills, and no weapons. Eve is safe, despite herself. The boat is some distance out. Hence my weird dress. I swum into shore. What do you need his help with? I knew the Sentinel. This girl is as you were. All smoke and mirrors. She knows nothing, save what she has been told. Why do you need Bapp for?" She looked at Kyo. "Thanks, by the way. Sorry if I interupted your converstation." She turned back to the Overseer. "And Eve found her. Not me. She was distressed at the time. For future refrence, when you walk away from her, tell her, please? She was almost suicidal. She thought she had lost you, or something bad had happened to you."

The Overseer looked hard at Harata, then turned to address Bapp as he approached, opening his mouth to speak, but only to repeat that same gray eyed, confused, searching stare at Harata. He shook his head once sharply, rattling around the jumble of information that Harata just spilled out everywhere, and he said, "Bapp, you are the most talented fighter I have seen. Would you please accompany us to this boat Harata is speaking of?"
He shot yet another look at Harata, darker now, and continued, "While Harata is a questionable source, I do not think she is lying about this. She said she has the Sentinel unarmed and locked up on a boat."

--- --- (( lolwut, I don't know why, but being called 'most talented fighter' made me feel very happy for some odd reason))
"Sentinel? Interesting. Sure, why not." He grinned.
"I did see them earlier, though. In Barton." He scratched his chin as he tried to remember.
"They were being chased by thugs. I took care of them though. Although there should be a reason why it happened, so I guess checking wouldn't hurt." --- ---

Harata looked at Overseer. "Eve could take the Sentinel at the moment. Bapp is not necessary. I brought her to talk, and to get her away from the people. They are blind, a the believe she's a fake, the thugs. They are the ones with strength. Have compassion. Remember how you felt on the beach. We have no proof she is the real one. If you will take such an offensive way with it, I shall not take you to the boat. No matter which one of you were to attack, I would defend. Remember my beliefs. I believe we need you alive for her to survive." Then she turned to Bapp. "You took out the small fry. Did you see the unconsious woman? She I took out. She the strength to the gang. She is who taught me. Her I defeated. Without that, your attacks would of been useless, as you are, chivalrous." The last part she said with a little scorn.

Bapp didn't take offense at her scorn at all.
"That makes it easier, doesn't it? Means I won't hurt the Sentinel, unless necessary." He smirked.
