Brett about jumped out of his skin when his phone rang. it took him a minute to remember what pocket it was in. he flipped it open to answer "hello?" he said hearing odd sounds on the other line

Getting back to the house, Kurai went in not bothering to see if the others followed. "What's going down Kit?"

She put up a finger to Kurai as she walked in at the same time Brett answered the phone. "Hey, it's Kit. Is Sammy around? I need to talk to her about somethin' and she aint answering her phone." She said then looked over to Kurai and nodded to the couch. Kit pulled out and lit a cigarette, she had a sinking feeling in her gut.

he was quite surprised to hear kit in a non wanting to kill you kind of way. "i actually have clue where she is no one seen her since last night" he replied "i was going to look near by for her hopefully nothing happened to her"

Kurai nodded once and perched on the edge of the couch. She crooked a finger to Tala and when she was close, Kurai filled her in on what Kit had said.

"Last night? If you're not at home right now Brett, I suggest you get home. Sam won't be coming back. She's usually very punctual about gettin' home and s**t. Stay inside and let people over there know to stay in or only to go out in groups. I'll call you back." She hung up and looked over at Kurai and Tala.
"Looks like Sam's been nabbed. If she's dead or not, we won't know until they find her body and announce it on the news." She looked around. "Where the hell are the others?" She growled out.

Damian looked around having gotten side tracked after seeing kittens in the pet shop window, he couldn't spot Tala or any one else that he had arrived with. 'uh oh i got find them or I'll be stuck here' he thought spinning around looking for someone familiar. 'or i can walk back...' he was suddenly wishing he was allowed to have a cell phone. just because he kept changing everyone's ring tones and accidentally calling someone in china one time should matter....
".....well if you wanna check it out i remember last night she was thinking about getting munchies at the 7 11 near here" brett said. he would need their help to get Sam back as much as he didn't like it. "and if it any help she somewhere i can't even find her other wise she wouldn't be lost." after the call he just stood there trying to decide should he go look for her himself or take kit's advice and stay put

((Sorry I hadn't been posting, I'll do my best to keep up from here on.))  When Damian got a bit offended saying he didn't want the helmet, because it would make him look slow Gambit laughed. With a grin on his face he said, "Well what if I find you a really cool helmet." When Kurai added to the ridicule then Tala to Gambit sighed and decided to move ahead. When he made the helmet comment he was actually serious since he felt bad for laughing at Damian.
As he made his way to the door Damian beat him to it, 'falling over' himself again. When Kurai came behind him scolding Damian Gambit shook his head. He waited until everyone was in the mall, before he walked in as not to be associated with them. When Gambit walked in he decided to look into getting a few changes of clothes as well a** some swimming clothes just in case. Walking around he stumbled into spencer's where he found a few shirt's that caught his attention especially a shirt that looked like the Hulk's chest. Laughing Gambit said to himself, "I'm sure Ol' Logan would get a kick out of this." Taking the shirt he had in hand he brought them to the counter and pulled out the wallet he stole when he first met his new friends.
After he paid for his things he walked out and noticed a woman working at a sunglass stand. Finding this a good opportunity to work his charm and get a discount he walked up to her and said, "Bonjour mon'ami, I was wondering if you could lend me one of your beautiful hands in picking out a pair of shades. I'm sure you can pick out something stylish since you are oh so stylish, if you don't mind me saying." Although Gambit's line seemed corny the woman was flattered by Gambit's accent and compliments.
As the woman was helping Gambit try on shades he felt his phone sound off. "Excuse me, I seem to be getting a message." Pulling out his phone Gambit read Kurai's message. He frown a bit since the message wasn't very clear, but he assumed that she was at the food court as planned. Putting away his phone he kissed the woman's hand and said, "My apologizes mon'ami, but I must go. I hope that our paths cross again some time soon." With his parting words he walked to the food court winking and flirting with ever woman that passed by. When he got there he noticed that no one was there. Stepping out of the mall he looked for the vehicle and noticed it was gone already. Pulling out his phone he seen he got another text about going to the vehicle.
Deciding that it would save everyone the time and headache he began walking back. Pulling out his phone he called Kurai. Holding the phone to his ear he waited for a response.((Most of it is filler except the end.))

At the sound of her phone, Kurai flipped it open and filled Gambit in and telling him to get back to the house immediately.

Damian decided to go wait by the car, it was the easiest and most likely way not to get him self in trouble, he didn't want to get scolded again it wasn't fun. he made it to the car only tripping on a door jam once. maybe he should slow down occasionally? he went to where he thought the car was but couldn't see where it was. the busted tire,dented car was still there but his ride wasn't. was Tala trying to pick on him again for changing her ring tone to the roster sound again. he quickly looked around in case she left a giant shrimp waiting for him. last time freaked the hell out of him and he was very wary of it now...

Gambit nodded, he was a bit confused at first, but a serial killer was the least of his concerns since he's been on the streets since he was a kid and could handle himself just fine. After the explanation Gambit replied, "Don't worry about me mon'ami, I'll be fine. I'll see you all in an hour or so. I like to take the long way home, I don't mind meeting this friendly stranger." As he went to hang up he heard someone near by making a commotion. Looking at the spot where the car was he seen Damian. Walking over to him he strecthed out his hand saying to him "What are you still doing here bud? I thought you left with the belles dames(lovely ladies)?"

Damian about jumped out of his skin when Gambit voice came out of nowhere. he turned around real fast a notices gambit hand out. was he suppose to take it? but that made him think of quite a few gay Disney movies. "i got lost..." he replied his heart still beating from getting the crap scared out of him "the kitten were being so cute!"

Kurai grabbed her phone out of her pocket and texted to Gambit. Back @ house sh** going down. get back fast! bring damian.
Jaime pulled into the driveway and parked just behind Kurai's car. He knew Kit would be pissed at him, but he hoped that the ordinance (aka firearms) and info he had would molify her. He had managed to use his connections in the police deparment to almost completely cover their tails from the things that had happened. Coming to the door he could almost feel the tension so he chose to knock instead of just walking in.

The kitsune woman let out a feral snarl as the door was knocked on. "I swear to whatever God there may be if that's not the rest of the..." She stopped mid sentence when she opened the door and only saw Jaime. Her upper lip curled and she looked back at Kurai and Tala. "I swear, Damian better have a good reason as to why he's dicking around." Her tails whipped behind her as she left the door open for Jaime but went over to the coffee table and grabbed her car keys. "Kurai, you're with me. We're going to Xavier's place. I want to talk to Brett in person. Tala, when Damian and Gambit get here after they're done jerking each other off fill them in. No one is to leave the house alone anymore. Tell them that Sam is missing and that's disturbing because despite her docile nature that woman was a strong mutant. Anyone who can get her can get the rest of us."
Kit grabbed Kurai by the arm and started pulling her out of the house. She got to where Jaime was still standing in the door way and said, "Whatever you've got, I'll get from you later." She said and then half lead, half dragged Kurai towards Kit's own car.
