I found it funny how I knew the traffic signs better than the people administering the test.
I hate switching lanes on crowded highways.

Our test was computerized so there were no people.
Do you switch lanes before you have to to avoid problems too?

Really? At the DMV. I guess we're just old fashioned then p:
I do that, but I mostly just switch lanes when I feel like I have enough space, which could be before or after I actually need to switch lanes xD

Indeed :'D
I still find it hard to pick up on signals though. My dad yelled at me for a good solid 5 minutes after that car that really looked it was continuing to gain ground on me and speeding right at me was apparently "giving way and allowing me space to switch lanes." :/

Yeah, they do that. If they don't move after a while I'm just like; That's it, I'm merging, LIKE IT OR NOT.

Is it me or does it seem like being a jerk driver is easier than not being one?

It appears that being a jerk driver is definitely easier than not being one, though I have yet to have the guts to reach that stage, so I can't say for sure.
I can say for sure that (1) it's easier being an ignorant driver than not and (2) pedestrians can be seriously stupid.
The latter never struck me until I started driving. But seriously. People can't just shove all the responsibility to the drivers. Some people can be really dumb.
