Having heard what Blink had asked Kairi, the petite blonde's eyes widened and flickered over to her Somebody. Though the Princess had turned away, she could tell she was blushing and the feelings that came through the bond were that of confusion, embarressment and truth. Naminé knew Kairi loved Sora. She knew Sora loved Kairi. It was only a matter of time before the two would come to realize that themselves. She smiled faintly as Kairi immidietely made an excuse and ducked inside her house, coming back with a cup of water and taking up her earlier place; leaning against the railing beside Naminé.

The petite blonde opened her mouth to speak gently to her but a disturbance made her straighten up, still remaining in Riku's embrace but to a position where if she needed to do something quick, she could. The reason she had acted this way was because Axel appeared using a portal of darkness and speaking about trouble. Naminé instantly looked around; her crystal blue eyes scanning the area for trouble. She saw nothing. But a sudden noise made her jump. It was a loud roar quickly followed by a scream in the distance. Kairi beat her in asking Axel what was going on and at his answer, Naminé frowned, looking off in the distance.

"Wait a moment... You say that Lakayan's Dragon side is Dark, right?" She asked him, her eyes still on the distance as she thought. "A Dark Barrier would hinder it... but wouldn't a Light barrier work better? Be stronger?" She noticed from the corner of her eye that Kairi had called upon her Keyblade which was now in her hands, and she felt a pressure in her own right hand, and a few sparks of light appeared around it. However, she clenched her hand into a fist and the sparks died off. It wasn't time to call upon her own Keyblade. Not yet.

Axel shook his head. "Her dragon isn't dark, it's tainted. I think Hikari is just trying to take the darkness away. We can't do too much damage to the dragon because if we do we might hurt Lakayna too," he explained, his eyes shifting in thought. "Riku, just put up that barrier and we'll tell you when to put it down. Kairi and Naminé, you two stay here. I've never dealt with dragons before, so I don't think it would be a good idea for you guys to come alone. Got it memorized?" he asked. He then turned his head in the direction of the dragon. "I'll go back and help. I'll be back soon," he promised and disappeared through the portal.

Naminé suggested that maybe a Light barrier would work better, and Kairi nodded in agreement. The crimsonette then turned to Blink and answered his question. "Lakayna is our friend from school," she told him. Blink then told them they could use his ivy as he jumped off the porch and the plants grabbed him and placed him on the ground.

Axel however shook his head at Naminé's question. He told them the dragon wasn't dark just tainted, and that they couldn't do too much damage to the dragon for it might hurt Lakayna as well. Kairi didn't want that at all. She dismissed her Keyblade and did as Axel said. She'd stay where she was with Naminé. Just before Axel disappeared into the portal again Kairi said, "Okay Axel got it. Keep us filled in on what's going. Make sure that nothing happens to Lakayna or Hikari! "

(so sorry for not being around. School just started. I will be getting on more frequently though. Sorry if any of this is wrong, i skimmed so I could post before school this morning.)

Riku cursed under his breath at the order Axel gave him. The silvernette jumped out of the house and out beside the red head. The boy quickly did as he had been told and let a shield consume the entire town. He then followed Axel's eyes to the beach. Riku looked at Axel. "I'm coming with you. Hikari is my sister. I just got her back and I'm not risking to lose her quite yet, hot it memorized?" Riku stated firmly. He wasn't changing his mind and besides it would be easier to tell him to take it off if he were close

Hikari herself was barely hanging on. Burned and electrocuted, she flattened herself against the dragon's back when she tried the aerial maneuvers to shake her off. She had to finish this off quick, or else she or the dragon might lose consciousness and crash. While she was able to drain much of the darkness in the dragon, she knew there was still a bit left, and she couldn't reach it on through the dragon's back. Letting herself slide down, she caught onto the dragon's forearm, bringing it out her Dark Keyblade and jammed it into the dragon's heart, making a small quarter turn with it, not to unlock her heart, but to extract the remaining darkness.

((Hikari didn't tear out the scales, she just pulled them back, so when she let go of it, it would just lay themselves back over again. She also won't lose her heart with the Dark Keyblade there. Hikari is able to control it so she'll still have her heart intact.))

Naminé listened to Axel and nodded. His words made perfect sense and the last thing she wanted to do was to hurt Lakayna. However, at Axel's order to remain where she was because he didn't think it a good idea for her and Kairi to come along, the petite blonde's eyes flashed and she turned her face away from everyone, hiding her expression.

She always hated being underestimated, especially as of late. But she'd play the good girl like always and do as she's told. Just like she always had. Naminé's body tensed and she didn't turn around. Riku left, hurrying after Axel, just as she knew he would. She turned back just in time to see the redhead and the silvernette step into the portal and she locked eyes with Riku. "Stay safe," she mouthed silently, before turning away and slipping off the railing to stand beside Kairi. The petite blonde didn't say anything as she leaned against it, her eyes scanning the dark sky in the distance, searching for Lakayana. The Nobody was stil angry a bit and she tried to cut off the connection between her and Kairi so the Princess wouldn't know what was going on in her mind.

When she heard her name, Hikari was distracted. "Riku? Ah!" she yelled, feeling the dragon's front claw hit her face, which knocked her black sunglasses off of her face and fall just out of the ocean's reach. Now trying to attempt this blind, Hikari kept her eyes tightly closed as she kept trying to turn the keyblade to absorb the last of the Darkness, but she was having a hard time with it. Come on, Lakayna. she thought to herself.

Axel came to an abrupt stop at the sight of the dragon and Hikari nearly dangling from the creature's chest and saw the sunglasses fly off. "Whoa!" he exclaimed and tried to make a run for the sunglasses, but the dragon swooped down low in an attempt to shake off Hikari, making Axel back off. "What are we supposed to do? If we use magic it might make the dragon crash. If we attack we might hit Hikari. Got any ideas?" he asked, looking at the silvernette.
