Apollo nods slowly. He knew there were some things he could never erase. He had killed the man who had taken care of Adel for years, who Adel thought was his grandfather. He couldn't expect forgiveness for a move like that, not now, and possibly not ever. He was lucky that Adel even agreed to stay with them.
He moves into the bathroom, extricating himself from the situation to ease the young boy. He had to gather some of the things that Endymion and him kept there.

Edmyion was talking excidedly with Adel about the idea of camping in the woods when Apollo came looked up with a glowing smile he asked. "What should we do about the stuff there? Just leave them? and where are we gonna go get the camping gear?" qustions spilled out freely. "Waht about the body guards? should I phone and tell Josh that I'm leaveing for a few days? Apollo, Where in the contry are we going?"
Diana smiled, amused by all the qustions, she giggled.

Apollo laughs slightly, waving his hand in a jokingly pompous manner, "Why darling, we have servants for that!" He laughs, shaking his head, "We'll alert Josh and the bodyguards about our vacation, saying you need a break from fame. Just to be safe, we won't even tell him where we are going. We'll rent a plain looking car to drive, just to be inconspicuous... Hmmm, let's see, we'll pick up camping supplies... Butyou'll probably have to wait in the car, Dymion.... too much press, you know... And, um.... not sure where we are going. Probably about 50 miles out past where the roads turn to gravel." The god grins.

Endmyion smiled, pleased and happy to be going on a trip with his lover.
The arrangements took the better part of the moring in the afternoon everything had been set up along with the rented car that would take them out of the city.
After Dymion and Adel had eaten, they all drove to the supply store to pick up thier camping-gear. Dymion hunkered down in the back-seat with Adel. Insisting that he sit back ther with a hood over his head and hiding his face behind an open book. Adel had thought he was being silly untill a couple in the next car had reconised him at an interesction.
Endymion sank down lower, giving them a wave as they pulled away.
Once at the store, He said to Adel "Go with Apollo and help him with the gear, I....I think I'd better stay inteh car."

Apollo turns in his seta and reaches back, gently stroking Endymion's cheek, "We won't take too long... just sit tight, ok?"
The three of them got out of the car, locking it securely before heading into the huge store. Once they came back out, they were hauling bags of groceries as well as regular camping supplies and wood so that they wouldn't have to waste time chopping their own.

Dispite hiding in the backseat several passersbys had noticed him, there was a carfull of young girls parked behind the car, they where waving and trying to get his attention, luckly for Dymion they hadn't gathered teh courage to approace. Endymion opned the door and stepped out to help load the stuff, he glanced momentarily at the girls, they let out a squeels of delight. With his face red he put thebags in the back of the car.
"I'm gonna skin Aphrodite alive if i see her next time" Diana said hottly to her brother.

Apollo nods in agreement. Just to spite the young girls, he pulls Endymion near and presses a possessive kiss to his lips, his free hand waving off the car of young girls. He then continues to load the car, a smug smirk on his face, as if nothing had happened.

Apollo doesn't let the smirk die from his face, not even when Diana glared at him, mentally chiding him for his childishness. The god shrugs and gets back into the car. As everyone piles in, he starts it up.
"Endymion, love... are you ok?... I know its hard to deal with the limelight, but you know I'll always help you through, right darling?"

"ahh,,, y-yeah." Dymion sank even lower in his seat, his face a nice shade of red. Adel jumped into the back seat with him, chatting excitedly of what kind of gear they brought, two tents, sleeping bags, two air-mattresses a small propane-powered cooking grill...and more then enough food to last them.
"I've also got two fishing poles so we can go fishing. Diana siad we'll be cmaping by a river."

Apollo gives Endymion's hand a squeeze and smiles at him before turning the igniition and heading out of the parking lot and toward a part of town where the skyscapers and highrises seemed fewer and fewer. He keeps driving, knowing exactly where it would be best to go, where they would find a good clering to go camping in that didn't trespass on private property. In fact, where they were going was a spot not even near private property, which was hard to find in the state the worl was in. He glances to his sister a few times before finally asking, oblivious to Dymion and Adel, of course,
"Diana... you trained Psyche and Persephone.... C-can we do this in time??"

"We can if we're vigeltent about it." She says, her face an expression of grim deterimation " but it won't be so much fun for Endymion."
Dmyion looked out of the windows as teh city gave away to a rual areas, then that thined out to trees and country side, occationaly broken by roadside dinner and motels.

Apollo nods, his face a blank mask. he knew that Endymion was not going to enjoy the next three days, but hopefully this would blow over quickly and they could all be left alone once more. Training Endymion was not only necessary, but important for all of them. Of course Apollo wouldn't let anyone hurt Endymion, but failing the test would give Zeus a reason to badger them constantly.
They were at the sight in about two and a half hours, far away from any civilization whatsoever. The roads had become gravel and dirt a long time ago, and now they were parked in a clearing a little ways off from the road. They would have to hike from here to make sure that no one on the road would find them.

Endymion climbed out of the car, he took a deep breath and coughed, the air lacked that matallic tang of the city that he'd gotten use to. When he breathed it felt like he was breathing in the very trees. Adel sniffed and climbed out, he was already loading up the food in his arms.
Dymion went to the back to help carry the camping gear.

Once Diana had cast slight lightening charms on their packs, Apollo smiles at the group and begins to lead them into the forest. It always seemed like he and Diana knew where they were going, no matter how remote.The sungod leads them through the thick trees for about 45 minutes before they reached a clearing.
"We'd move farther, but I think we are the only car to have gone down that road in months. We'll be fine here. Plus, the river is nearby, just through that patch of trees," he says as he points eastward.
