Heath drank some of the water by using both his hands to cup it, after which he played with it by letting bits of water droplets flying in midair.

Sitting down on one of the swivel chairs in the security control room Hibiki donned the less bloodstained of the two hats left by the guards. "now, lessee" he muttered as he observed the cameras as they watched over the prisoners and, the entrances to the main tower.

Rayne kicked free the vent that was blocking her path then hopped down ready to attack. But that was not particularly necessary the security room was a blood mess and a particularly smug looking demon straightened in a chair. She was not wrong the stench of blood she had sniffed out was there as well as what smelled like a wolf demon of some kind. She opened her bag and pulled free her folded six sectional staff witch formed into its solid length at the flick of her wrist and the power she coursed through it.
"Greeting's wolf, though i have not had the pleasure of encountering many demon's and would prefer a more comfortable subject i am here to destroy this tower are make an attempt. Impeding my path would be most unwise i hope that you may be a friend and not an enemy. Did you not kill these men? or do you hold yourself as one of them?" Rayne spoke in a demon tongue one that was very old but known instinctively by many of her kind.
Rayne new time was running out she had planned to do everything as quickly as she could brake stuff and run if she couldn't think up anything better. But turning her back on a demon with no guarantee the hat on his head was a trophy was not wise. She hoped the respectful way in witch she spoke to him would get her a truthful answer. With there kind so low in number most demons have banded together why couldn't a small alliance work even if just until they where out.
She was standing with her weapon at the ready her body mostly concealed in black clothing. the loose fitting material hid everything the hood and scarf even hid her face for the most part so she could still move about during the day after this mess blow over. She did not like hiding in the shadows so why risk being forced to do so if you can help it. That was the thought behind her wardrobe and so far it was keeping her on the streets by day and braking stuff by night.

"well then" Hibiki said swiling his chair to face the unexpected intrusion "i am not one of them and it does seem we have the same goal"
Hibiki was wondering how long he would have to set up the explosives he carried on him, especially since there would be more than one watch but, with two people he might be able to pull it off. Then again, how could he trust this woman so easily, he would have to go with her, besides, the explosives had to be well placed to get this forty story building to fall.
"my one question is this, why destroy this tower? do you not like the light it sends accross the city?" Hibiki questioned trying to gauge the woman's response, she obviously had no clear plan to destroy the tower so it was suspicious that she show up so abruptly.

"This tower uses the souls of men and women as power, if destroying them all sends us back into the stone age then so be it. I can not stand to watch a people suffer from such evil as this place even if i don't mind the technology. No one deserves to have there soul used against there will who knows how detrimentally places like this could affect ones afterlife. to answer your question simply i will destroy places like this because i must" Rayne said still using the demon language.
she straightened deciding to take a risk a lower her guard. "Why are you here wolf? did the lights simply draw you in like a moth to the flame?"

At her answer Hibiki smiled "something like that" Hibiki said drawing his kodachi and stabbing it into one of the monitors in one movement "we need to work fast, i'll be a couple hours until the next watch should report"
Hibiki swiftly went about stabbing the rest of the montors "i need to get some explosives planted if we are to destroy this thing, you know the layout better, you lead" Hibiki said revealing as little as possible to the woman, he had learned much from his last encounter. "I am Hibiki, what would you have me call you?"

"Rayne, Explosives huh..... sounds better then praying for lightning. All i can tell you is how to get back to the way i came. The smell of blood attracted me here. Though i did pass through a lower level where i spotted a few support beams. Blowing enough of them may bring this place down what do you think? The area is a section with allot of storage seemed like the lowest point but I'm not shore. It was bellow the parking garage"
Rayne walked over to the vent and stopped tapping a finger on her staff before spinning around as if something crossed her mind.
"On second thought you got in here some how and you are the explosive expert maybe you should formulate the plan. I don't know a great deal about leveling a tower. its a bit more complicated then beating things with a stick"

"i climbed the outside wall till i found an open window" Hibiki said blanly "i was going to scout after i made sure i couldn't be reported. we'll blow it from the notheast side, that will cause it to fall in the street...less chance of the building surviving by leaning against another building" he said as he tossed a duffel bag her way "grenades, try to kill as many of the upper level prisoners as possible, you have 15 minutes, in 30 i will be detonating the charges" Hibiki said shouldering a pack of his own. "after setting the charges i will wait on a building to the east, the one with the neon sign that has a naked woman on it" After he said this he departed into the hallway and down the first set off stairs he found. the prsioners would more than likely be killed by the collapse of the tower but, he had to test her reliability before trusting her with an essential task.

Rayne stared down at the duffel bag her mind trying to rap it self around the task she was asked to do. She was here and most of the inmates where indeed criminals lowest of the bitter sentenced to life with there souls being distorted and pulled apart for energy. Hopefully the greater good that would come from destroying this place and others would justify the deaths later. There was no going back killing was nothing new but that didn't mean she had to enjoy it not when they couldn't fight back. Finding her resolve she shouldered the duffel and moved from the room making her way up several flights of stares. She trusted her nose and her instincts to show her the way and that they did. Reading aura's helped as the prisoners where being stripped of soul it lead her right to them a large group being held in place like batteries powering a radio.
"to achieve my goal there must be casualties you will be amongst them. May you find freedom in the after life if death permits" Rayne said softly and with that she tossed a volley of grenades before taking cover. She was skilled with throwing weapons though a grenade did not impale its victim they landed precisely where she wanted them to each blast that echoed taking more then one life at a time.

"not much different from felling a tree" hibiki remarked as he set the final charge. Hibiki had hollowed out areas to put each charge in with his hands using the superior strength he possesed as a demon, and with where he had placed the charges the building would fall into the street intersecting it at about a forty-five degree angle. it would more than likely cleavea large portion out of the building across the street but, it was an office building and was of no consequence. Setting the timer he shoulered his, now empty, bag and went to wait for the charges to explode on the top of the strip club a few blocks away.
