Brigade looked to Kai with what would appear to be curiosity.

"There are approximately 1.2 billion hits for 'IO' on Google. Please specify your requested search query," the geth said to Kai after a moment.

In the time that Kai had managed to finish her sentence, Brigade had located I.O.'s firewalls, and bypassed them, bringing up several dozen files within the first few moments after Kai finished speaking. This number grew steadily, filling up the whole screen of the Batcave computer.

"No. As we infiltrated the Internal Operations mainframe, we flooded it with random data bits; spam, and junk mail. The Internal Operations servers will need to be scrubbed of this junk data. Geth, being sentient when networked, would be able to begin this scrubbing of data within picoseconds, though the amount of time it would take to successfully scrub the data is dependent on the size of the networked geth population. Organics have much slower reaction times, and must manually scrub the data. This process, based on the size of the Internal Operations mainframe and the amount of junk data we sent into it, will take up to twenty-four hours. They will never know what IP address hacked into their mainframe." Brigade said. As it spoke, dozens more I.O. files were being uploaded from the mobile platform, detailing technology, weapons, tactics, contingency plans, personnel files and base layouts, and much more.

Nightwing had watched the IO files crop up so quickly and with such numbers, he didn't notice Kai finding her parents' files. However, he noticed the file on her, and he got curious. Why did IO have information on Kai, of all people?


Brigade, however, had followed Kai's instructions. The files Kai and the others were looking at, while coming directly from IO via Brigade, were merely copies of the data that the geth runtimes had sent. As a result, even though Kai attempted to delete the file she was looking at on the screen, Brigade was the one to actually delete the file on her, the Batfamily, and all known associates therein. This included (through connections via the likes of Oracle, who Brigade now knew of): the Teen Titans (current and former members), the X-Men, the Justice League, and all other teams of heroes within the mainframe's records. Despite the extensive list, Brigade managed to do this in all of about five seconds, in addition to filling the former file spaces with even more random data bits and spam, as well as advanced malware programs that would effectively destroy the IO mainframe's "structure" and force the organization's computer networks, which were very primitive by geth standards, to shut down completely. In essence, this deprived Internal Operations of their fastest means of communication, forcing them to rely on slower, more primitive communications such as post mail, radios, and word of mouth.

"We have successfully eliminated all incriminating files of your allies and associates, Summers-Kai," Brigade said. "We have also inserted malicious software within the Internal Operations computer networks. We estimate that complete shutdown of all Internal Operations servers will occur within the next 30 minutes, and we estimate that the time it will take to completely repair and restore all of the networks will exceed one month, judging by organic reaction times. This makes absolutely certain that they will never know who or what hacked into their mainframe."


d**k let out a low whistle. "Wow... That's pretty impressive, Brigade. But why'd you go to such lengths?" he asked, and the geth platform looked to him.


"Because we determined that complete sabotage was the most effective way to carry out our request from Summers-Kai and also cripple Internal Operations in their motives. From the files we have read, Internal Operations' methods of dealing with metahumans is highly unethical by organic standards: They kill or capture any metahumans they find, and perform invasive experiments and interrogations on those they capture without the consent of those captured. All beings have the right to live, and to attempt genocide upon another population simply for being different is unacceptable. We have decided that we will assist metahumans against Internal Operations and other organizations like them."

"Then it is most advantageous to our side that we now have Internal Operations' files." Brigade stated.

"Yeah, and it's even better that Brigade managed to mess up their whole computer network, now we've gotten ourselves a bit of a breather, right?" d**k said to Kai, moving over to her and placing a hand on her shoulder. "C'mon, RC. Cheer up, would you?" he asked, squeezing her shoulder slightly in a reassuring manner. "We're gonna be okay, I know we are."

"Yeah, seems good enough for her." d**k said to Kai. "You go ahead and get your sleep, alright?"

Reaper kept to himself, silently watching all of the others. He glanced over at the computer and gave it a bit of a glare. Of course it didn't quite work for him. All he was able to really get was the security feed that was of that woman kidnapping Batman some time back.
Herm...perhaps he'd have to try and hack peoples brains instead. Figure out how they used the computer so he could use it himself.


Sapphire and Alex were patiently waiting as well. Well....Alex a bit more impatient than patient. Batman wasn't here...and she'd been hoping to see him. At least ask about what happened to him after he ditched-erm...was kidnapped. She hadn't seen him since they left to find Sapphire.

Sapphire had watched as the others came down, grabbed a vehicle and sped off. She sighed a bit, growing a little bored of simply sitting here waiting on Azreal to get what he needed together. Though...she wasn't going to complain.

She was supposed to find some of Gotham's heroes so that they could take care of whatever big problem was going to happen. Luckily, the Cave seemed to be full of people. Or at least it had been a little while ago. If she hadn't found any of Gotham's heroes, then she'd have to take care of whatever was going to happen herself. THAT she wasn't looking forward too.

Especially now that Warp wasn't going to be able to help her....take care of the problem Savage gave her. She wasn't going to be much help to anyone if she was too pregnant to fit in a costume. She sighed a bit and looked around the cave again. Trying to think of something other than...that.

After a moment, she smiled lightly. Remembering when she had come to the cave the first time. It was after she had met Batgirl and had two different run-ins with the Joker. The first one he nearly paralyzed Batgirl, and she'd managed to use her healing powers to at least allow her to move again. The second time he nearly gassed Batgirl. At that time a motorcycle had pulled up and Batman had ordered her to come back to the cave.

Had to admit, it was pretty cool meeting him, and seeing this whole place.
