Jounouchi gently depositted the happy dog in Seto's arms before being gently tugged aside for questioning. "Thankyou for saving me Kaiba-san." He murmured, his face hidden by a mask that would make Ryou proud.

Kaiba nodded quietly, realizing, strangly enough, that Jounouchi was already a step ahead of him. He waited for the police to come and question him, trying to ignore the little fluffball in his arms.

The chihuahua tipped and licked at Seto's cheek happily. The police took statements from the pair and the press took pictures like mad. Jounouchi was taken away by the police to go to Yuugi's house. He winked lightly at Seto to tell that he'd be waitting. "Take care of him, Kaiba-san." He saidd, before getting in the car. ((XD haha! Seto got a dog!))

"I'll be sure to..." Kaiba muttered in response, annoyed that he actually had to pay for this thing now. This little dog that was proceeding to put drool on his face... Damnit, the only dog that was allowed to do that was Jounouchi! To avoid suspicion, Kaiba left in his car, heading for his mansion with the damn chihuahua, waiting to make sure there was not anymore press following him.

The cops dropped Jounouchi off outside the gameshop but Jounouchi sat down outside the building, waiting for his lover to pick him up. He was glad a pet shelter car had come to the shop to take the other dogs until their owners were contacted and could pick them up.

After absolutely sure the press was no longer following him, Kaiba drove to the game shop, hoping to God that Yuugi would not be there. He still had the dog with him, planning on bothering Jounouchi until he figured out what to do with the thing. He drove in front of the Game Shop, relieved to see that Jounouchi was sitting outside alone. He got out of the car, bringing the dog with him for fear of it ruining the inside.

"Mokuba will not love him if he never meets him." Kaiba mumbled, "Are you implying that we're keeping the dog?" he asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Do you honestly believe either of us have time to take care of a dog?" Kaiba asked, "Besides, we do no need to take him to the pound. There are no kill animal shelters or I'm sure many would be willing just to take him, with him being a purebread."

Kaiba glanced at Jounouchi and the dog, inwardly sighing to himself at how guilty he felt now. Damn Jounouchi and his ability to make Kaiba not so cold... Finally, the CEO turned to Jounouchi with a stern glare on his face, "If you really want the dog that much... then you have to completely take care of him and keep him out of trouble..." he warned.

Jounouchi grinned and cuddled up to his lover, smiling happily down at the puppy. "Thankyou, Seto... For everything." He murmured, looking up at his partner, his eyes shining with love.

Kaiba's face tinged pink, having a hard time believing that he used to not find Jounouchi cute at all. "It's... nothing." he replied awkwardly, not used to getting thanks, since he never really did anything that was thanks-worthy.

Jounouchi smiled sfotly and sighed. "Can we go home now? Please?" Jou was acting a bit odd after his ordeal. He seemed small, fragile, and scared after his ordeal.
