Garret tried to hold back the tears in his eyes but he let one slip. He hid his face. "How is it you know what I feel? How can you crack my hardened shell so easily?" he asked.

Katsuko swallowed the lump in her throat. she hadn't expected to hit that close to home. she couldn't answer his question, she didn't know the answer. "I don't know...." she admitted. *I was just saying what i thought...*

Garret couldn't hold his tears back and he began to weep silently. He continued to hide his face so Katsuko wouldn't see him.
