Mrs. Snaders shot the gun, she wanted this , she just didn't expect or want what woould happen next.
Jesse moved into the the way of the bullet nailing him in the chest. blod spattered around the wound as the bullet enetered his heart. he fell to the ground, not breathing or moving, he was dea d... his blodd coloring the road side his eyes holding his gaze of love for Annie.

Annie had no time for the freak who had just shot Jesse "JESSEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she screamed. The tears fell faster and harder as she collapsed over him, soaking his entire body. She glared at Mrs. Sanders. "HOW COULD YOU?!!!!! HOW COULD YOU!!!!! YOU KILLED HIM!!!!" she looked back down at Jesse and her body shook uncontrollably as she cried over him. She felt his cheeks with her hand and stroke them. "Don't leave me..." she managed to break out in a whisper then her forehead was against his, her tears falling onto his pale white face.

Mrs. Sanders walked over to her. "I didn't want to hit him, It was you! you made me! if you hadn't of met him! an boy! he would be alive and I would be happy! he was supposed to be with me! not you! me! I knew the very first day he walked into my building, he was so full of life and yet lonely, like he was waiting for thaat one gil that would sparkle his eye! I was supposed to be that ! not some he just met!" she screamed tears on her face.
Mr. Sanders was in his truck heading for work when he saw his wife and Jesses gi rlfriend on the roadside he the gun and puuled over. "Sarah what in the world.... Oh my god! Sarah you didn't!" he cried as he saw Jesse's limp body. "Annie i'm so sorry, if there's anything.. anything at all."he said quietly.

Annie glared up at Mrs. Sanders and shouted "Get the hell out of here!!!! If you really loved him you would have been happy for him!! Not jealous!!!!! You have no idea how much he means to me!!! If you really cared about him you would have left us ALONE!!! GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE!!!!!!!!!!!" When Mr. Sanders pulled up she was collapsed over Jesse's body again shaking uncontrollably. She glanced up at him tears streaming down her cheeks. "Just....just get HER out of my face. I'm tired of her!!!! SHE KILLED HIM!!" she screamed out before another uncontrollable fit of tears came over her and she was unable to move.

Mr. Sanders nodded "Ok.. Sweetie, Do you have anyone you want to call, A father or a mother. I think Jesse mentioned that Carlisle was your adopted father, you might want to give him a call." he sotthed and turned to Mrs. Sanders. "Sarah get in the damb truck" he yelled and Mrs. Sanders went willingly. they drove off leaving Annie to mourn.

Annie didn't understand a word of what Mr. Sanders had said. She was overcome with relief when she heard the truck start and drive off. It was dark outside now and she threw herself once again over Jesse's body and wept. Her clothes were stained with his blood as she cried.

Jesse got up and hugged her, "I'm ok" he said softly he pulled the vision of his away from her. "I gave you the impression in your mind I got hirt, even my is in your mind." he said softly holding her. "It was the only way I could get rid of her I'm so sorry." he said softly.

Annie looked at him a hard look in her eyes "How could you do that to me Jesse!!!! You know how happy I've been with you!!! I honestly thought you were dead!!!!" She was shaking worse now. She was truly happy he was still alive, but she couldn't believe he had played that trick on her.

Annie could barely speak through her tears now. A puddle had formed on the ground around her and she managed to whisper "Why....." another fit of tears erupted before she could break out "couldn't you tell me....." she hugged herself as she rocked herself on her knees. She couldn't stop the tears. The whole scene was too much for her. She couldn't stop thinking about his body lying there lifeless, the blood all over the ground, and her clothes. Mrs. Sanders screaming at her that it was her fault. That would never leave her mind.

Jesse sat there. "I couldn't she's sharp, and she would know if something was up that I was telling you something." he said sobbing himself. "I'm sorry I'm such a fool, please forgive me" she said softly.
