I've never really got into zOMG; how much gold can you make with it? I always played booty grab when I needed gold and got an average of 1500 gold per grab. A solid 1-3 hours can net you about 500 gold more than that, especially one you reach bass'ken lake, the saws there are a good fight, and they drop a consistent 20-30 gold per kill.

A single grab takes less than 3 minutes, maybe 5. Of course, the amount of gold you grab depends on the tank, but if you play top-tier tanks and have enough practice you can get much more than just 1.5K. My average on such tanks used to be 1000 when I started, now it's ~1500, and lately I'm consistently getting a minimum of 1800 gold or so. Seriously. Between 2000 gold per hour (zOMG!) and 1500 each 5 minutes (BG), the latter is superior.
