"It's a tome written by the Lady Sophia (That was her name not meaning the FE Sophia), She was hoping that I would use it but I can't weild Light magic. I've seen it used once. It brings a pillar of light coming from the sky. I was hoping you can use it."

Renault nodded to Melethia. "I should be able to. . . I've tested Lord Athos' tome and I was able to control it, though with great effort. I thank you for this gift, and I will certainly take care of it." His attention turned back to Amelia and her question, which caused him to frown again. Truthfully? He wasn't entirely sure. But if he had to take a guess. . . "I don't believe he will come for us soon. . . it seemed to me as if he were delaying it for a longer period of time, allowing us to worry and fret over this. However, that may be simply me having false hope. . ."

Amelia rubbed a hand against her temple, thinking of the message. We have to stay ready... I don't know if we can stand a chance against a god, but if we could find Ashera... maybe... Amelia looked over at Melethia.
She turned her eyes to Melethia. "That sounds logical..." she mumbled. Wait for the humans (and dragons of varying amounts of blood) to calm down before attacking, or let them get so worked up that they'd be ready to be destroyed when he appeared...
"Whatever the case, we can't let it dissolve us into a huge state of panic," she said, her voice uncertain.

"Thine actions have sealed thy fates?" Rhys asked to nobody in particular, in between popping back a few pills for migraines. "Like I haven't heard THAT one before."
It was about that time that he noticed...
"Oh, my gosh! Crab Nicholson! So good to see you! High five," he said, opening his palm for a high five. "You know what? I've got a bone to pick with this overambitious dark god, and it seems to me like the best way to do that... would, in fact, be to throw the Host Club Party I should've done sooner. Couldja help me set it up? "Hey, Amelia," he called down the stairs. "If you can hear me, wanna try helping me set up for a party now?"

Amelia rushed over to the stairs as Rhys shouted down. "Set it up now?" she shouted back. She didn't know if the others would welcome the distraction from the bad occurrences or wonder if they were off their rocker. Leander had disintegrated and given them an ambiguous warning to the appearance of Loki, after all... It'd be a great way to keep people from freaking out too badly... she thought.

Amelia put her hand to her chin. She smiled a little. Take that and shove it where the sun don't shine, Loki, she thought. "All right! Where are we setting up?" she shouted back up, smiling wide. She nodded to Melethia for the input, giving her a brief, grateful "Thanks."

Amelia motioned for Melethia to follow her and trooped rapidly up the stairs. "All right. Makes sense to me. And Melethia can help us, you could get all the really high stuff." Amelia laughed sheepishly, but smiled. "We'd be glad to have you help us!"

"Hmm... let's make the library our first step, I guess... I think I'll be fine, thank you," Rhys said, answering Fiora as he walked over to the room.
Rhys turned and opened the library door, scanning the bookshelves and desks.
"Yes, we'll definitely need these moved out of the way. I really need to put these books back on their shelves, too. It's a nice size, but it's not suitable to have a party in just this room..."
