I was kindda not able to come...too much school stuff...for the french movie we had to make, everthing that could go wrong, went wrong.... and still goes wrong with sound editting and all, which is my job... so not much time now either, tho it's vacation.... this movie needs to be done immidiatly afterward gonk

no, we prove that nakie day is 99% jealousity.
That are the n00bs that made typing mistakes from which could be concluded they didn't know what nakie day is about, or are naked, but have wishlists in their sig

Gaia basically is a forum like any other forum
Gaia is fun because of the forums, mainly
Gaia is fun because there are so many people on these forums
Gaia has so many members because it added things to that basic forum, that makes people come here, and therefor gives you more fun
You say the items don't matterm but I dare to bet gaia would have been a hardcore-anime forum without all these features, and that we would not be here in the first place. The avatars are the first, and main feature that made gaia what it is now. They are important for the succes of gaia, very important.
Since everyone likes, and uses the avi system, it's also the largest feature. 2 years of admin work, why not just use it? Make gaia a normal feature-less forum and within a few months the forum will be as active as a year ago, or worse.

The first nakie day had a better goal, against inflation. Which was, and due to the poll glitches last months still is, a large problem. Even the admins joined.
But this "items don't matter".... in equality of people, no, they don't matter. In terms of fun, expression, they do matter. In terms of making gaia what it is, they do matter. If you see everyone is equal, why take the items off? you can see that with clothes on. And the people who can't see equality, would not compete in nakie day anyway, or would compete without missing the point

Actually, if items don't matter, why does it matter you shouldn't wear them?
