Raz stayed hidden, she was resting. This was the only time she looked peaceful, and the only time she was going to be quiet without thinking up some kind of plan. She had chosen to stay in the lower basement of an old warehouse, the door to the room was made almost completely inaccessable because of old file cabinets, boxes and tables.

Alyx finished her investigation, finding no signs of anymore vampires than the annoyingly rude one. She decided the best thing she could do next was to move on to the next town. The annoying Vampire would only hurt someone to get Alyx's attention from what she could tell, so why shouldn't she move on?

Raz sat up and stretched, she didnt waste time getting out of the warehouse. Other than a few moved boxes there was no sign that she had been there. She walked around, not sure if she wanted to eat or if she would put it off until later. Raz wondered if she would be able to find the Hunter, she also wanted to know if she was still trying to fid the person who killed that man.

Alyx was sitting in a quiet Coffee Bar. She hated alcohol so it had taken her a while to find a Bar that would serve something other than the Fire-water.

Raz stopped when she saw the hunter, she couldnt help think that this was a weird place. Coffee bars were the places you would expect to see sorority type people, Alyx seemed a little out of place. Raz walked up to Alyx, "Its kinda wierd seeing you in a place like this."

Alyx was leaning her chair back against the wall. Her eyes were closed, and her head was leaned back so she could be completely relaxed. She opened her mouth and asked calmly, "Why?"

"These are the students are the ones who will take over daddy's company, You have to kinda work a little harder than throw money around and buy the teachers version of the text book." Raz said grinning. She sat down. "Not only that but you seem a little dressed up compared to everyone else."

Alyx didn't move, "I'm just wearing what I always wear... Besides... I like places like this. They smell like home, before my mother ran off with my baby sister. And it's quiet, and calm... I can think here."

"Why did she run off?" Raz asked, she couldnt remember her own family, it had been too long, and raz didnt bother trying to remember. She figured if she needed to know that information or if she really liked them she would have remembered them.

Alyx said quietly, "Something about me... and maybe my father and brother disgusted her." Alyx opened her eyes and stared at the table, "I think might have been because I looked so much like my Uncle."

Raz patted Alyx's arm. "I liked your uncle, even if he did try to kill me." She wasnt sure what to say, she hadnt had that kind of experiance before.

"He raised me.... I think he felt he had to," Alyx said, rubbing a line on the table with her finger, "My father... He couldn't stand to look at me. But Uncle... He practically raised me, taught me and my brother how to protect ourselves with our own hands. Not just our weapons."

"I didnt know him from that view." Raz said grinning. "Sounds like he was great all around." She stood up, "Amazing as this was, I havent eaten so if you dont mind..."

"Please sedate them, first..." Alyx said looking up at her, "I'm too exhausted to have to wipe memories tonight, and then I'll have to take you to the nearest elder to be punished... It's really too much of a headache for tonight."
