 "Yeah... It's kind of heavy" she smiled, "But i hardly notice it... Chrono trained me to use it." she leaned it against the wall, "I should get dad to make a shelf for it... as well as my other ones."

She shrugged, "He mentioned something about it but he never went into great detail about it. Everything with me was a rush. He wanted to get me trained and get out of the Abyss. So I'm assuming he had children." she walked to the kitchen and grabbed a pear, "Though he did always treat me as his own... and he was a very good father... to my standards, so i'm sure he had kids." she kissed Lucid's cheek and bit into the pear, "I never knew something could taste so good... I haven't eaten since breakfast... Sorrow took me out for lunch, but i didn't even get a chance to take a bite, before we were so rudely interrupted!" she growled to herself and took another bite of the pear, "But i took care of it."

"No one who was worth living..." she mumbled as she looked out the window to see Amo and Quintessence snuggling by the fire, "Who are they?" she asked with a slight growl in her throat.

Lucid looked further worried, and then sighed. she shouldn't be so reckless when she's pregnant. "Oh, that's Amo, the naked man and his girlfriend i guess."

"Hmm..." she grumbled as she walked out of the house and over to the fire. Tsume quickly rose and bowed, "Good evening, Lady Akuma." Tsume said, then doubled over and dropped to a knee.
Akuma rushed over and took his arm, "Tsume, what's wrong?" there was a great deal of concern in her voice as brushed through his hair.
"Poison... but your father did his best to take care of it... It's a waiting game now. It's wore off quite a bit..." he grumbled as Akuma helped him lay back down, "I'll be fine by morning."
Akuma sighed and rested by her large friend. Amo leaned towards Akuma till his face was inches from her. she leaned back uncomfortably and mumbled, "May i help you?"
Amo took a deep breath in through his nose allowing them to flare out, and held onto it till he said, "So you're the new ruler..."
She swallowed hard and looked confused, "Yes..." she finally answered after a couple of seconds.
Amo's eyes widened and he jumped to his feet, "Well darling it'll be a pleasure running this realm with you!" he exclaimed as he jutted a hand out to take hers.
She stared at him for a very long time, then took his hand, "You're.... Jack's replacement..."
Amo nodded with a large grin on his face as he eagerly shook her hand.
Akuma grinned and stood up. her grip tightened on his hand to the point where Amo was almost on his knees, and she hissed, "so help me... if you try to pull this bull s**t of stealing my husband from me when you don't get what you want... I'll be sure to it that your death is slow and merciless." she released his hand and walked from the fire.
Amo stared at his hand and whimpered, "What? is it the aura i give off... she's just like chrono..."

Yuma looked to the far west soon as she stepped onto Abyss soil. She shook her head and just pushed the thoughts out of the front of her head. She just held onto his hand and walked with him back to his house quietly.

"It's nothing, sorry to trouble you, I think I will find a soft chair to sit in while your getting around, I've done enough walking and standing for today, but if you need help I'll be there." Yuma felt the softness of the grass as they stepped onto his island. Her hand twitched and her eyes narrowed; "Suppressed power, and it doesn't belong to you or your daughter." Yuma scanned the Teriann of the island and noticed the fire. She noted the man and the woman there; "There is more to those two then meets the eye."

"Don't worry about it darling, it's just Amo. He wone't hurt you," He smiled as he scooped Yuma up in his arms and brought her into the house, "you just rest right here and I'll fix you up something to eat." he set her down on the couch and walked into the kitchen, "Have any requests as to what to eat?"

"I don't want noodles, but everything else is okay. I wouldn't make a whole lot either since I'm not overly hungry right now." Yuma nestled into the couch cushions she closed her eyes just for a second, and they were heavy to open again so she just closed them and she was asleep before the fourth thought crossed her mind.

Merril's group stood upon the approaches to SalSoon, Quannah, and Arcadia's homes. The small group of new arrivals they looked after were out messing around in the yard. Merril ordered hr group back to the wagons they had hijacked earlier, and they steered them down the approaches towards the houses.
Arcadia heard the commotion and stepped out of his place. The young were already running towards the wagons to follow them in and see what all they were bringing to sell. The older arrivals just merely took a break from playing with the young. Arcadia looked to the ridge and sure enough the far house up there had the lantern lit to signal it was a safe group coming in. He didn't like trouble when SalSoon and Quannah were off on another of their shopping sprees at the vampire settlements. However he dismissed it and went back inside less he be tempted to trade away everything he had for this month for items he really didn't need.
Merril pulled her beasts to a stop, after forming a circle around the people in the meadow. She took one last look at the houses before she hopped off the wagon to continue the illusion of being a trader and get into position for the attack.

It was a turkey shoot for the most part, those who could fight were struck down first, and of those left over they took out the experienced and weeded down the group of newcomers to just the young dead, and those who actually believed what the lighting demon males were saying about not fighting and they wouldn't die. They had no clue what Merril had in store for them. Three were keeping Arcadia busy while the rest loaded up two wagons with their freshly caught pawns and they hauled off. Merril knew the three fighting Arcadia would probably die after a lengthy fight, but that is what she needed to get some distance from the battlefield.
Once they were well on their way Merril turned the driving of the beasts over to a male and sat down in back with a group of prisoners. They posed all kinds of questions, and Merril summed it up in one answer. "I don't care if you live or die, but I have a simple task for you all. You get to find one person in the worst places this realm has to offer. If you fail you become a permanent resident, if you succeed, well then count yourself lucky to go back to those worthless flying lizards, but i can waste no more of my people in the search of that place."
(a few hours later)
Arcadia was having a hell of a time with the remaining two, they were not leaving many open chances for him to strike, and the welcome sound of wings foretold the return of SalSoon and Quannah. The tables shifted, and the two lighting demon males were on the defensive. When they had exhausted their magical strength and drew upon blades, three solid streams of fire left nothing left of one of the remaining attackers. The last became a play toy to be tossed about. Bones were broken, and SalSoon kept him healed enough to stay conscious and alive so he couldn't respawn elsewhere. The real torture began once they started interrogating him.

Yuma streched, and opening her eyes tiredly she saw the flickering of the fire on the windows. she sat up and waited for her mind to clear up before moving anywhere. Her stomach grumbled and she stood up and instinctly went to the kitchen. She mumbled seeing someone's feet and divereted to a chair her head still looking at the floor since she was still half asleep. She waited there listening for them to leave so she could get something made for herself.

Kaos came over and kissed her cheek, as well as setting, what is known as a Cheese Burger, in front of her, "Hello love, Are you hungry? I made you what you wanted... Except with cheese, because i personally think it tastes better." he walked over to the sink and poured her a cup of tea and set it down next to the plate, "I'll be right back... I have to go out to the fire..."
He grabbed the tray of tea cups with bags of herbs inside of it. then picked up a second tea pot full of hot water and headed outside to the fire.
Akuma was sitting on a chair of wood on the other side of the fire from the rest of the group. Tsume took up the space between Akuma and Amo, and Quintessence was sitting right next to Amo, If not on his lap.
There was silence for the most part, and Kaos came out and passed out the cups, then filled the glasses. he set the tray down on a wooden table he made a while back to match all the wood chairs around the fire, and smiled, "Well, Enjoy your tea... I must go back inside, and clean, sorry i can't entertain..."
Amo smiled, "It's fine Kaos, Thank you for the kind hospatility."
Kaos smiled and bowed, "If any of you need anything i'll be right inside... "he turned and walked back to the house, taking a seat at the table next to Yuma, "So, How's the food?"
