Anita grinned. The thought of a fairy crawlign under couches to collect dust bunnies was too amusing for her not to smile. "Cleo, how good are you at cleaning? If you want a job, I can afford to pay you weekly for cleaning my place. I'm usually only here to sleep and eat." It was obvious in the lack of tidiness in the apartment. "i will put all of my gear in the safe, and that would be the only place you didn't clean... what do you say? 200 a week?"

Serrenedy smiled "I'm a friend of Teddy's-one of the ones that recomended telling you the 'secret' I'm guessing by the screaming I heard from out here he did, I only came to ask him if he was O.K. You must be one of the two kind and understanding parents that he was afrid would be disapointed in him" She noticed him stareing at her outfit and giggled a bit "Oh-this, I always dress this way-I just get sunnbrns like...unnatral almost" She smiled agian

Cleo's face went through the sort of arrays that you could tell she was trying to find the begining and end of a circle but then brightened "O.Kiday" She smiled

Cleo smiled-"WOW-miss Anita you're the nicest non related to me peerson I've ever met-Serrenedy was allways tring to get rid of me, once she actually paid a cute were-boy to go on a date with me...it was a full moon so I got back nd saw her seaching for ways to get rid of fairy's but Lucinda used most of them so i should be fine

"My son is going to be just fine so long as we stop this nonsense his 'friends' are apparently filling his head with." Teddy's father frowns deeply, having zeroed in on Serrenedy being part of this whole coming out of the closet fiasco. He'd never thought before that he needed to be so careful who Teddy spent his time with, but obviously he was wrong. "I'm sorry you came all this way for nothing, but you're not going up there and telling my son it's okay for him to fornicate with another man. I just won't have it. So you'd best go on home."

Teddy's father just nodded and closed the door. Now why could a normal girl think Teddy was 'kind of cute'? Meanwhile Teddy had heard the doorbell and was curious. He had ignored it at first, wallowing in his own self pity, but finally curiosity won him over and he came to his window. He was surprised to see Serrenedy walking away. How did she know where he lived? Who cared? He had to get her attention! Teddy opened his window and nervously called out, hoping he wouldn't bring one of his parents to the doo. "Serrenedy... Serrenedy, wait up!"

Teddy winced a little at Serrenedy's raised voice. Well, she did have a point. It was more than just a bit odd to hold a conversation a story apart from one another. "Okay, I'm coming down." Teddy pulled his head back in the window, moved the chair blocking his door and rushed downstairs. His father tried to intercept him. "You're not letting that girl in this house."

"Then I'm going out." Teddy tried for defiance, but shrunk back some when both his parents stared at him. It was his mother who finally said "It can't hurt any. What could they possibly do that would be worse than what he does when he's out? Let her in, but she doesn't stay long."

Teddy sighed in slight relief, then opened the front door. "I'm glad you came, Serrenedy. Come in?"

Teddy didn't really want to chat in front of his parents, but he had a lucky break. His mother rose from the couch in the den and came to Teddy to give him a little hug and kiss on the cheek. "It's late, honey. We are going to bed, but just don't forget what we talked about." She gives Serrenedy a polite little smile with no real feeling behind it and heads upstairs with her husband in tow. He doesn't even look at Serrenedy, but does pin Teddy with a short, stern look.

"Don't take it personally." Teddy replies once his parents have passed. "They're going to be like that with all of my friends now, I'll bet. That's just how they are; they can't figure out where I 'went wrong' so they're suspicious of everything. The first thing my dad wanted was to find Marcus and I really can't have that. I'm starting to think your amnesia idea was a good plan after all." He shuffles into the den and drops himself into an armchair.
