She smiled, leading her to a vacant room. "No, it wasn't bad to ask. Just...unexpected." She knew it was rather obvious what she felt for him, but she wouldn't let that interfere with her duties, especially at times like these. "Alright. Stay here for a bit and collect your thoughts. I know you've been through quite a bit today. Then, come and join us when your ready." She waved, smiling at her again, wondering if she was used to stuff like this then ran back out to meet Edward and Rin.
She stopped when she saw the many wolves, eyes lit with awe. "They're all so beautiful..." She said, wanting to pet one, but unsure how to approach one. So, kneeling down, she held her hand out to one, wandering what it would do.
"I won't hurt you..." She said, smiling. "I'm a friend."

he shook his head. "Fate is a surviver of the last war.. the War of Haven. her, Bain, myself and a few others are all that is left. these wolves are all well understanding of what is going on. when Bain feels the call she will come.. that or i will go to her." he looked down to watch Mim and a wolf. the wolf was a younger one, and went to her willingly. it was fairly friendly, at least to her. when the time came he knew the wolf would fight as the others did. he pulled out his harp and looked at Edward. "this harp is far more dangerus.. than anything else i could bring you." he plucked a few strings and sighed. " Bain will fight for us, as will Isa and Lev the dragon shifters. V will join us." he looked up at the moon again as he played the harp, the wolfs leaving to gaurd the area. "Bain is the Daughter of the New Moon. she call's the demons, they will fight for us.. now i just need to talk to Quin." oh joy of joy's. the theif prince never accepted his legacy. he was a prince. just not very accepting of his birth right.

She grinned, petting the top of the wolf's head. "You're beautiful." She murmured, scratching behind it's ears. "I hope you don't mind me doing this..." Suddenly wondering what Rin would do if she tried petting him.

"Quin is the only one that worries me. He and I don't get along very well." Edward sighed. "He didn't like it when I was against Phantom being with V. That, and when V did his little linking of the sword to the body, which backfired." Edward stood up. "Hopefully Quin will understand the situation." He took a calming breath. "I am heading in for the night." Edward started to walk off. "You are welcome here anytime to use this building as a refuge and home."

Mimicry looked up from the wolf and to Edward. "Heading in Boss?" She asked. "I'd suggest curling up with Lily. Make you sleep better. I can promise you, it'll be much more relaxing than curling up on that desk of yours...alone."

He looked to Mimicry. "Lydia, thank you for you concern." he smiled at her. "I think I will do just that." Edward went into the building and up to his room where he and Lily slept.

"none of us know what Quin will do. its his nature to be random." he continued to watch the wolf and Mim, listening for anything out of place as Edward left. he needed to find that damned man. tell him about... Fate.. he mutterd a low latin curse and watched the wolves in the woods. they were keeping alert, the only one that stayed was the one Mim was petting. good.. he will protect her when i cant.. he dismissed thoughts of Fate as he sat on the hill. the wolf in him knew what he needed.. he needed to run. he looked at Mim, then shifted to his larger wolf form. it didnt even occur to him to run alone, he automaticly moved to stand by her and nudged her arm. for a moment he wonderd why, he never let people ride him. nor did he run with others, usualy. he looked at Mim and thought. there were alot of 'usualys' before she saved me from them..

She smiled up at Rin, kissing the top of the wolf's head and seeing him off, before hoping on Rin's back and wrapping her arms around his neck.
"Where to?" She asked, quickly scribbling down a note for the wolf to give Sarrow.

he shruged, waiting for her to finish writeing before he loaped up to the house. he layed down easily, carful of Mim looseing her grip. he looked into the house and murmerd. " if you like, she may run with us" he shook his head rapidly, getting rid of the leaf on his ear.

She shrugged. "Doesn't bother me either way. I just don't want to leave her without a clue as to where we've run off to." With that, another thought came to mind. "What about her paw?"

unawar of them, she crawled out the window. she may be a healer and Priestess, but she never did will with captivity. her staff was silent, no bad energys were near. she slid from the window seal and turned into her wolf, sliding past the others on watch she headed for the garden. she was an earth wolf.. she needed the earth to heal her. she had left a note to Mim, thanking her and telling her where to find her if they needed her. she was in their dept, and she always payed what she owed.

he rubed his head against her shoulder as he answerd her. " wolf shifters are elementals. this Sarrow is an Earth wolf. she is likely to be fine, earth is a sturdy element." his ear turned to the side and he shook his head, forgeting he had it against her arm and causeing her to nearly fall over. he steadyed her, then looked to the east. " she will be back." he said. "a few of the wolves fallowed her, she will be safe."

"That's good. As long as she's safe." She replied, absent-mindedly petting the top of Rin's head. "You know, Sarrow thought you were my mate." She said, chuckling. "Completely caught me off guard. Said the way you watched her as I fixed her up reminded her of one." She grinned, then turned to look at him, scratching behind his ear. "So, are we going to go search for Quin? Or just run? You don't have to carry me, I can run with you...may not be as fast, but I can try."
