Staring at this woman made his stomach churn, she truly made him think of that man. Seiko could imagine himself walking into a bar much taller. Much stronger. Much more in tuned with his anger. Seeing four figures. All masculine and itching for blood of anything. They wanted a challenge, Seiko would only be interested in one. The one in the middle with a smile on his face a blade holding the last breaths of his parents. That was the man he was interested in. First it seemed he had gained a reason to put up with these people and their petty needs and wants. He would erase the bad name this Tomoko woman had given the Jio people and replace it with something concrete something truly deserving of their past. He would make them see what a true Jio was only half jio, but it was more than enough to make up for Tomoko's mistake

Smiling and waving her hand in the air, Yuki tried to dismiss Kolo. "That's ok, darling," she said, knowing that Kolo hardly knew anything about the shinobi ways. "I think you should go to the library and perhaps check out the Shinobi basics book," the woman suggested, hoping a little reading would give Kolo a better idea for what he was in store for. Yuki truly liked the boy, but she couldn't listen to his rambles right now while trying to teach class. As she dismissed Kolo, Seiko spoke up to Yuki and a frown framed up on her face. "Your attitude sucks," the woman said plain as day as she stood up and walked over to the boy. She had overheard what he and Akemi had been talking about and she was just plain disgusted by how the boy was acting because of it.

"Your parents were murdered in front of your eyes," Yuki said, bending down to eye level with the boy and whispering so no one else could here. "That doesn't make you special. You look into anyone's history on this island and you will find that they've lost at least one loved one right before their eyes," Yuki said, with her emerald eyes boring hard into Seiko forcing him to stare right back at her. "To hate an entire race, because of only one person's actions is ignorant and foolish. What will you do when you find a person who protected you is part of that race?" Yuki asked the boy knowing that he would eventually figure out that from her words the one that protected him from the Meho's was actually part Meho herself. Standing back up and puffing out her chest, Yuki crossed her arms underneath her breasts just like Seiko had portrayed her. "You'll find Tomoko's story much more traumatizing than your own," Yuki said with cold green eyes. "Every Jio and Meho I've met is messed up in the head and you're no different," the woman said turning back to her desk and letting those words sink into Seiko for a bit.

"Aw! Much better, my darlings!" Yuki said with a smile as a clean Raiken and a clean Tenmoki came in the room. "Now we can start your training!" the woman said rolling up her sleeves. "Today we are going to learn about genjutsu," Yuki said as she wrote the word on the board using symbols. "Genjutsu is a shinobi art that attacks either one or several of the 5 senses; Touch, Smell, Sight, Sound, Taste. Our first Kage, Uchiha Ichi," Yuki said as she pointed towards the pencil drawing of the dark skinned young man on the back of the wall, "was a master of the genjutsu art. The best way to understand genjutsu is to defend yourself against it. Today we will be learning about a small technique called 'Kai' which means 'Release," Yuki went on as she wrote the word on the board. "When someone uses a genjutsu they are attacking your brain, making you feel, see or hear something that really isn't there. In order to break free from this attack you must send a wave of chakra to your brain," the woman explained as she pointed at her head. Lacing her fingers together in the seal of the Ram, Yuki began to demonstrate.

"This is the seal of the Ram. Its stands for concentration, which is key to freeing yourself from a genjutsu. The energy you feel within your body, the adrenaline that kicks up when you're excited or scared, that is what you will be concentrating on. That is your chakra, your energy. Learn to control it and bring it to your mind and release yourself from..." Yuki started as her hands left the Ram seal and quickly moved into several other seals the students wouldn't even begin to make out. "Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu," the woman said as the school house walls began to transform into something else. Stacks of books turned into tall trees and everyone's surroundings turned into a jungle.

Once Akiko and Roalen were trapped within the genjutsu, Yuki walked over to Seiko. "Think you can hold henge?" she asked him with her hands on her hips. "I want you to create an image of someone and then hold it for at least 30 seconds," Yuki said to the boy, going on with the lesson as if she had never said a word to him. Tenmoki Yuki knew everything that went on in this village and she knew almost everything about everyone. She was the one that approved people to enter the academy and in order for them to do so, everything about them was to be known. Higher ranking shinobi were no exception.

Kolo saw the wave of dissmissal andthe words to go study some more. He liked to study, and he knew what he wanted to say, but the information came out almost always entirely wrong. He lowered his head and walked out of the classroom, almost bumping into Rolaen. He looked up and looked into his eyes, then gave him a pat on the shoulder as he walked out. He saw the new girl, all clean and looking nice, but ignored her. She seemed nice, but for some reason, he liked Akemi. 'I guess you can't choose who you like...' Kolo thought as he made his way to the front of the school. Kolo looked around and headed in the direction of the library.

Rolaen had listened intently as Yuki had given the lecture. Wincing when she had mentioned the part about having to control their chakra, the red head ran a hand over his shortly cropped hair. His eyes quickly danced around as the illusion quickly set into place over the school room, the boy at first panicking. 'Control my chakra. Wonderful! The one thing my clan ISN'T known for!'

Sighing, the young boy nonetheless formed his hands up into the ram symbol, closing his eyes after he was sure he had the symbol correct. "Kai!" He made sure to say it loud enough so that the girl who had come into the school room with him would be able to hear him, just in case she was unsure of the exercise.

Seiko did not respond to the woman, as he wanted to Rolaen and the girl from the rings had entered. She seemed to be a Tenmoki, by what Yuki said. He would have a word with Tomoko, if what she said was true then did he really have any reason to be the way he was. His mother would have found it atrocious. Out of his mothers memory he would have to change his ways. Bring a better name to the Jio people starting with himself.

Placing the ram seal together the boy took Yuki's challenge. Letting his body become developed with smoke he made his image a reality once again. This time as Zoku. The image of the girl who had given him the scar. The image of the girl who seemed to be barely different then himself.

As he stood he picked up the book on his desk and strapped it back onto his body. Except with this it split right down the center of the mosquito bites this girl held on her chest. Not much to look at was she? A very homely girl, not brimming with confidence do to the body it truly belonged. She didn't look at the ground for fear of scratching out somebodies eyes, nor did she not speak because of fear of killing something. She was almost as normal as normal could be.

Looking at he woman he mustered enough strength to swallow his pride as the genjutsu began to fade away from his body. Still speaking as Zoku he spoke, "Good day to you Sen..sei?" Trying to start here in changing his attitude the boy was not sure how hard it was going to be. He was still going to be very quite. It was just who he was, but maybe he didnt have to be so cruel. Turning he walked past the girl he had beat early that day and said nothing but did not touch her. He needed water and his normal place was infested with people as he noticed on his way out. The only other place was the shoreline. He had to calm his nerves.

She should be an actor. After convincing her teammates that she was naught anything but super excited to become a genin, Orika had ditched the actual exam, leaving her house to spend time in the forests. She couldn't risk anyone finding her and having to confront them about her anxiety over becoming a genin. That step meant that she was actually a shinobi and would have to go on missions at the will of their psychotic Kage, missions where anything could happen. The teen kicked at a clump of dirt with her bare feet and let the ever-present sand seep in between her fat toes. Screw being a genin. Orika let out the breath she'd been holding and sprinted in a random direction, her legs furiously kicking off the ground to go faster, pushing her limits so that the wind slapped against her body as though she were an arrow. Shot from a bow and left with no choice as to the direction she could go in. Forced to fly because other arrows were soaring. "Screw shinobi!" she suddenly screamed, sliding to a stop with an uncoordinated hop at the end. Orika fell on her bottom and skinned her forearms when she tried to catch the fall. The girl looked at her wound and shrugged it off since there was no flowing blood. Still, she should at least wash it out to prevent infection.

The girl looked around for a source of water. Her eyes rested on the shinobi academy, a despicable place where children were brainwashed into believing an ideal that was so contrary to what actually occurred on the battlefield. There was no glory in fighting. There was no "right" path that would leave a shinobi without guilt. As the gash began to sting and the first drop of blood squeezed from the injury, Orika cursed and headed behind the school where she washed her arm out with the pump. When it still wouldn't stop bleeding, she rolled her eyes and strutted into the academy, ignoring everyone as she made her way to the first aid kit... conveniently located in the back of the room. She was no coward. Who gave half a smoke bomb what people thought about her?

Akiko glanced around as the classroom faded away, leaving nothing but a densely-forested area. She always enjoyed outings in the forest, but she could immediately sense something wasn't quite right. If anything, she felt like she couldn't make sense of it. There were trees all about her, but they didn't seem like they belonged. They seemed too... sterile. Trees were usually full of little imperfections, perhaps ones that couldn't be readily observed. Yet, when they're gone, they're noticeable. She pondered over this, wondering to herself what exactly wasn't there, until she heard a cry echo through the forest. "Kai!" shouted Rolaen, snapping Akiko out of her daze. Suddenly, the instructions of the exercise began to come back to her. She quickly formed the seal of the ram and shouted, "Kai!"

Then, the forest began to appear even less real...

For a moment, the intensity of the illusion overwhelmed Akiko and she forgot what she was doing. The trees around her began to spin a bit, disorienting her and almost causing he to stumble. "What is this place?" Akiko wondered aloud. She surprised herself by saying this; usually, she didn't share her thoughts aloud. Yet, she was so taken aback by this place. It was almost as if this place was a mockery of the world that was. The main senses were real enough--she could see, hear, and feel everything that existed in an actual forest. She even felt the warmth of the sun and the crunch of foliage underfoot. Yet, for all its genuine sensations, this place had no soul. She hated thinking in such subjective terms, but it just didn't fit. Shouldn't she be able to sense the life in this place?

Akiko's vision grew a bit sharper as she drew her hands together. She remembered her mission and formed the seal of the ram. "Kai!" she shouted.

Then the forest changed.

The forest lurched at her. Everything began to spin madly about her, as if she were in some giant, sylvan labyrinth. With each step, the glade around her rushed forward, making her more than a little dizzy. She nearly lost her footing a number of times. This place was, if anything, far from real. Akiko realized this and squinted tightly, trying to see if she could look beyond the woods. Slowly, a figure came into focus: Rolaen. He was standing with his body intersecting a tree at a funny angle. It was then she became fully aware of her surroundings. The trees began to recede and fade away as her hands locked into the Ram symbol. "This place isn't real!" she exclaimed with new insight. Then, at the top of her lungs, she screamed, "KAI!"

The classroom came back in focus. There she was, still standing in the doorway. Rolaen was standing by her side, still a bit dazed but seeming to be starting off well. She leaned over, standing on the tips of her toes to reach him. In his ear, she softly whispered, "Where are you?"

The forest had lurched when Rolaen had said kai the first time, briefly disorientating the red head. As the lurching motion came to a halt, however, his eyes darted around the room, frowning as he was able to finally start distinguishing his surroundings in regards to reality versus what was clearly false. The heat was less intense than it had been before, and the jungle growth beneath his feet felt more like paper mache than actual foliage. Shifting his feet, Rolaen attempted to re-make the Ram seal, but his knuckles slammed into his palm instead, causing him to purse his lips in pain.

"Stupid jungle...." He murmured quietly as he heard Akiko's question in his ear, though he couldn't see her when he tilted his head off to the side, attempting to find the source of the voice.

Shaking his head in obvious discouragement, Rolaen backed up a few times, his head tilting around as he did his best to find something to help further ground him so that he didn't lose himself inside the illusion. This continued until he slammed into a tree, the red head immediately spinning around and attempting to strike it. His hand slammed into it and bounced off, the Raiken wincing as he drew his hand back, the combined pain from that and his messed up seal before causing him further discouragement. "Dammit!"

Yuki didn't say a word to Seiko as he left the academy. She merely gave him a nod. She knew that she had just jerked around his moral standings and hopefully they were changing. For now, she sat and watched Akiko and Rolaen, waiting for the Raiken to come out of the genjutsu. With a smile on her face, Yuki flashed it at Akiko, not giving her training too soon, but waiting for another classmate to start it with her. It was always a good lesson to learn teamwork early.

Rolaen backed up from the tree, sighing as he ran his hand over his shortly cropped hair as he attempted to recollect himself. Moving his hands up in front of him, he rubbed the injured spots before bringing them together. Unfortunately, due to the disorientation from earlier, his brain didn't register the correct symbol in his mind's eyes. In place of the Ram, the Tiger was made, and as he attempted to focus on his chakra, his body didn't quite cooperate. The blow back caused him to fall to his bum, blinking a few times in surprise.
