((I'm so terrible at creating battle scenes. >_<))
Mika was only faintly surprised when seven or eight shadows popped out, along with several Neowshadows and most surprisingly three twilight nobodies.
"And your body rses for a new day," Mika said, pulling out her trusty five of swords. She had the feeling that summoning Genesis might attract Sephiroth, and while that wasn't a bad thing, it was a bad thing right now.
'Hope you're rested up Aki-chan'
Cloud was quick to set his passenger down and pull out his sword. He hoped these girls were talented at...whatever it was they did. Espcially since more heartless were coming out of the ground, partnered with nobodies.
"Hey Leon, why didn't you just take her hand?"

Akiko stumbled at the sudden drop-off but quickly righted her self and got her staff ready. She was well rested, in fact. Right off the bat she launched a Thunder spell that took out four of the Shadows, much to her pleasurable surprise.
The next moment, however, she was being crowded by a couple of the surviving Shadows. She kept trying to back up so she could cast another spell, but they just wouldn't let her.
Akiko cried out in frustration and brought her staff down with all her might on one of the Shadows.
It looked unphased.
"Oh, come on!" Akiko groaned.

Leon smiled despite his irritation as he pulled out his gunblade. "Says the man who carried the girl to escape a little fatigue."
He shot a Neoshadow and then jumped in to swing his sword around.

"Five of penticles!" Mika cried, sending out glowing sheilds of light to her comrades. Apparently a five did more to protect people the fewer people around. Of course, she did miss the Neoshadow behind her. And the attack on her that made it's way past her shield.
At first, all she felt was hot searing pain across her back, pain that litterally took breath and voice away. She really did hate those lucky hits. She took a shakey breath and tried summoning a two of cups to heal herself up, feeling very relaxed when cool green light washed over her.
Cloud had by now dashed over to Akiko and taken down the heartless who were at too close a range for her to damage. When would mages learn? They should always stay at the back of the group so they stayed safe.
But at least he now knew that she was the mage of the two girls. And when he felt the sheild, he realized that both girls were mages.
"Stay behind me," Cloud said as more heartless came.

((Oh! Sorry I should've relayed this info to you >.< Sorry, I'm so distractable... Um yeah Cap is gone for a week or so, Kiante is gone for a couple more days. Dun kill meh gonk ))
Akiko nodded embarrassedly, laughed a little with that annoying habit of hers, and gathered herself to cast a Blizzard spell...her personal favorite.
The ice shards shot out towards the Neoshadow that had attacked Mika. The clinking sound and the reflection of the light pleased her, and even more the obvious irritation of the offending Neoshadow.
Leon threw a seemingly careless slash at the same Neoshadow as he passed by on his way to another small group of heartless. The Neoshadow disappeared with his strong strike and, without the slightest change in expression, Leon continued on his path.

Mika noticed that the Heartless were almost gone now, a few stragglers beside Cloud and Akiko and a couple of regular shadows in front of Leon.
"Ace of swords," she called out quietly as she soon joined the up close fray. She took out a few shadows, making sure to stab the ground angrily when they tried slithering about against the dirt.
Cloud gave his great sword a mighty swing, taking out those left in front of him. He turned ad gave his previous passenger a look. It was likely best that he and Leon had gone along, he feared what would happen to these girls if left to their own devices.

Leon put away his blade, once again reassured that Radiant Garden's heartless were getting no tougher. Immediately he walked onward, impatient to finish this little extraneous journey. He knew the castle well and was confident in the way to reach Mika's rogue card.
Akiko looked around quickly for another target, but found none. She lowered her staff, threw one last glance around for any they might have missed, then smiled, satisfied with her performance.
The look from Cloud, however, made her smile hesitantly fade. Okay, maybe she hadn't done that well?

"How the hell have yo managed to stay alive this long?" Cloud asked calmly, quietly. He never did like to yell. "Both of you are distance fighters, your body is about to break and she's so flightly ssed a heartless that was right next to her?"
Mika didn't care for the tone in the hero's voice and marched over to him, reaake her friends staff and bash the blonde in the head. Of all the, they'd managed well enough thus far! and it wasn't like they were ever alone. The only reason they were alone now was...
Mika shook her head still wanting to bash the emo blonde over the head. In fact, the staff was almost in her grasp...

Akiko shrank inwardly at the unexpected reprimand. "Well, we usually have other people helping us," she muttered feebly, but after that excuse she just wanted to remain silent and let him finish if he had any more to say. The sooner this ended, the sooner she could get over it, but for now she felt rotten.
Leon realized that no one was following him. Giving a heavy sigh, he turned back around to see Cloud. He shook his head. Who cared about how good they were, could they just move on?

Quicker than anyone could blink, Mika had taken Akiko's staff and whapped Cloud in the head with it. Hard. It made a rather hollow sound too, which would have made Mika laugh inside had she not bee so very angry.
"Then leave!"
Cloud had not expected that, neither the outburst, nor the blow, nor the blow to be so very hard for someon so very short. Not that he had room to talk.

Akiko's consternation vanished and was replaced with mixed horror, amusement, and gratitude for what her friend had done.
She let out a short laugh, putting a hand delicately over her mouth to show her shock. "Mika! You didn't have to do that!" she reprimanded, though any authority she might have carried was ruined by her barely suppressed laughter.
She glanced nervously at Cloud, ashamed of her amusement when he might actually be hurt. Of course, he was Cloud, and by no means was he Akiko. Still...the sound hadn't been too pleasant to hear.

Leon lost his last bit of patience with the redheaded imp at that unbelievable thing she'd done.
He swooped down on her, absolutely livid, and gripped her shoulder with one hand while snatching the staff with another.
Akiko was alarmed and said quickly, "Hey...that's mine..."

Kyle sat down and sighed. Where should ge go now. Where Disney had givin him his orders was just a random area Disney had picked to meet. He had no idea where Disney had set up HQ in this world. He coughed and looked up. "I need a sign," he said. No, not the signs that say things like 'Stop' or 'Yeild'. More like a sign that says 'Turn left at the next rock'. Like a GPS system.

"Was the master of the keyblade not younger than even we womenfolk? Is the role of savior rserved for men, hores only with not a single space for a heroine?" Mika asked the SOLDIER icyly. "Or is it because we are but young members of 'the fairer sex'?"
Mika glared at Leon then and tried to shake free of his grip on her shoulder, unfortunately she couldn't. also, his fingers were digging into a very soft part of her shoulder that hurt if she moved wrong. Stupid mercinary training.
"Of course that's not why," Cloud said. "And the fact that you'd attack so recklessly just proves how much of a child you are."

Akiko winced inwardly. She really didn't like fighting. Insults were hurled at random, half the time they didn't mean anything, the other half they were things that should never have been said, but were said anyway in a desperate attempt to hurt the other person...but many still hit their mark and left a wound.
Okay, maybe it hadn't escalated to quite that scale just yet, but the remark about childishness still made Akiko uncomfortable for her friend.

Leon held his grip for a little longer, making sure Mika wouldn't lash out again on one of them. There was no telling with her.
