"Heh. I suppose if that is how you want to look at things, we will just need to see if you can keep up." Reaver replies, with a slight gleam in his slitted yellow eyes. As soon as he spoke, the syringes vanished into his sleeves, as he brought his hands together into the creation of hand seals, stringing a few together in a swift pace, before suddenly a thick mist began to settle over the area. This thick mist easily able to obscure the view of an opponent, was also a decent way to hide his Chakra Mosquitoes as they unleashed from their unseen chakra based cocoons and the first 500 moved into the mist, easily able to track an opponent, by finding their chakra signiture, as these regular sized mosquitoes move in to drain the snake shinobi's chakra, as well as gather blood for when it may be needed. Each mosquito would drain chakra on contact, and some would land to draw blood and bring it back to Reaver. If a mosquito was destroyed while it was drawing chakra, the chakra would simply disperse into the air, instead of returning to Reaver to give it to him. It was a smart technique, serving multiple purposes and suited Reaver well. For once he activated it in a battle, this was done with simply a thought. He could then move about freely, and they would be able to track back and do what is needed, before multiplying and attacking again.

“ We haven’t been to Hidden Leaf in a few years,… It would be nice to visit some of the old graves of are fallen friends.” Ryuko said as she glanced towards the ceiling of the small hotel room. She then glanced towards Matsuri as if reading the younger females mind. Nodding her head she turned back towards Dark Zeru with a small smirk on her face. ‘ Plus I want to see if that damned village has finally gotten some senses in its head or do we have to have another explosion demonstration. Either way seems fun.. Laughing at their pain….. Maybe seeing the hokages faces all crumpled up,..’ Thinking this as her eyes seemed to twitch with excitement. There was something odd about her when talking about Leaf. “Plus they have good jutsu’s there to learn. We need more training and this village is just too embarrassing to use its attacks.” She said while walking towards the main door, wanting to leave more than anything.

A small smile appeared on Matsuri’s face as she fallowed her other self out the front door, then looked back as if waiting for Zeru.

The slight shuffle of his body being bandaged and blood being drawn awoke him. Looking to see that the phoenix was gone and his body was almost fully healed expect for the sharp pains in his muscles. Standing he looks to see the two nins fighting. Rubbing his head, he yawns. Looking around he sighed. Picking up one of the destroyed Dao swords. "Man..." The other one was only slightly simmered as he sheathed it. As he held the destroyed sword it felt as if a little piece of him had also been shattered by the destruction of the weapon.

Closing his eyes his hand tightened around the hilt. "That....that...b*****d..will pay." He says throws the brown hilt, as it banged against the wall, the remaining shard embed into the wall. Raising his bandaged hand his mind went back to when he obtained the sword.

It had been a coronation that all Miyanari child would go through. One would pick from the vast array of swords availible. They were to treat those swords as if they were an extension of one's arm. His thoughts surface of how happy he was when he managed to find the two swords. Laying in the back of the store-room, hidden away. They were foreign swords and deemed as unusuable. But he had managed to convince his sword training to allow him to use it.

Sighing a montage of training passed through his mind of using the two blades. Chuckling a bit reality bit back as he look down. His mind raced through the battle. That exploding bunshin was the main reason why he was nearly slaughtered as well as that water skill. He needed to learn how to properly shield himself from attacks. The swords hand taken the brunt of the blasts and he paid dearly. His mind flickered on the move that laid in the scrolls.

Dashing out past the two nins he hurridly found were Ayami-sensei had transported them first after running for awhile. The training grounds in which she had started. He almost sighed, maybe he should have ignored the screams. "I am a fool to meddle in others affair...but it shows how low I rank in the realm of shinobi." He says as he raised his hand. Electricty arced across his arms, as he grunts. He couldn't give up just because he was hurting. "I can never give up..not even pain nor that man shall stop me from achieving my goal!" He shouts as lightning surged outward, forming a broad wall that surrounded him. However the lightning could not remain stable as it burnt the chakra away as he let go of the stream.

"Hm..." He says as he sat down as he closed his eyes. "Alright then...if I can...no that wouldn't work.." He murmers as he envision the technique in his head. "If I can create the chakra in the air first and release the lightning a split secound later, the shield should last long enough that harm would not befall me."

"Alright lets try it.." Saikou then jumped into the air, twisting around slowly, his fingers outstretched he swiped the air as he released the chakra. As if he were pouring out a little, then opened his eyes as electricity lit up, smiling he outstretched his hand, he placed his hand on the barrier pushing it down with him and pushing it down, he went with it, and landed on the ground as the electricity soaked into the ground. Breathing heavy he merely smiled. "Did it." He says before he collapsed on the ground as he stared up at the sky.

"I will try," Orochimaru replied as he raised his arms. As he did that, the chakra he had focused into his arms would suddenly shoot three snakes from each of his sleeve; resulting in a total of six explosive serpents heading directly for his opponent, with their fangs drawn ready to sink in and then explode. As he did the mist had engulfed the area but from what he had seen from the ninja already Orochimaru figured he used close range techniques. But because even a close range ninja must have something to provide as a long range defensive mechanism, Orochimaru knew he had to get clear of the mist somehow. He figured that he would use the explosions from the snakes to guide him to his enemy; but he couldn't simply stand still and wait for results, he had to remain in constant movement in order for his attempts to be successful. Orochimaru then positioned his fingers and let out a loud whistle. About two seconds after that, two piercing yellow eyes would appear in the mist, next to Orochimaru, from seemingly nowhere. It was Orochimaru's companion, his thirty foot long, giant snake. Orochimaru leaped into the air and the snake loyally set its head under its master's feet. He was now atop his companions head,"Guide!" As he said that his companion began to slither, in a winding pattern, towards Reaver; it could find him because snakes see in thermal vision. As they approached Orochimaru placed one hand over the other and connected his fingertips; a liquid orb of poison acid filled the space between his hands. Orochimaru was ready to act. As he approached his enemy, his companion seemed to change course and then go back to his course due to it seeing a mass of objects approaching with its thermal vision.

Sitting up he felt the powerful energy of chakra of the battle were Hurdy had went. Resting his shoulder against a tree he sighed as he stretched. Pulling out a scrap of paper where he recorded the jutsus he observed them. "Alrighty...then.." He murmurs as he raises an eyebrow. "Tornado...Lightning, a literal tornado of lightning...okay I gotta learn this!" He says with a stretched grin.

Standing up he stretched his hands out. Electricty sparked out as he compressed it in his hands. Holding the energy together the power compressed as it rapidly shoots in his hand. "Okay...gotta hold it...let it char-" He says before a powerful spray of lightning spreads out of his fingers as his hands releases, causing his arms to shoot back. "Crap, okay..let see I have to contain the energy with my chakra without compressing it..but have to keep the spread sheet.

Closing his eyes he sat down cross legged. Slowly he moved in a meditative pose. Breathing out he placed his hands out parrallel to each other. Slowly the electricity sparked around his finger tips as he clasped his hands together. The chakra seeped outwater, wrapping around his hand as the lightning flowed out, spinning rapidly in his hand as he grunted. "Gotta keep the flow going, or else it goes boom." He grunts as it managed to contain before he held it out. Pulling back he began to throw it before the chakra layer, dispersed and the lightning rapidly shocked him. "Gaahahahahaha!" He shouts as he falls forward, smoke flowing from his body. Shaking his head he sighs. As a shinobi of the land of clouds he had a slight resistant to lightning so the shock didn't hurt him as much it would a normal person. "Ayami sensei I need help." He states as he rubs his singed hand as he looks at the bandages on his arm.

"And so the rider of the Black Dragon arrives..." Kain's eyes looked through the slits of his Darkened armor as he glanced up towards the sky; the moonlight glistening over the red lining between his armor plates; the color of blood. Kain's armor was thick and deadly, possessing the strength of a Death Eater in their finest; as their power grew with their Evil. And yet he now was approaching a being of Good; ironically for information regarding summon spirits - and he had acquired a valuable item to trade for this information.
As the rider of the black dragon dismounted, Kain would unsheathe the shorter of his Dark Katanas, Kotetsu, and throw it so that the blade dug itself into the ground in front of the Spartan.
"You're a summoner.... Not bad, not bad.... I expected less from one of your kind really; a black dragon is a magnificent beast to summon though... You should be proud to own one..."
"... Who are you?"
"Kain Harvey.... a dark knight", the Death Eater would decide against completelly revealing his kinship
"What does a Dark Knight want with me?"
"To exchange information... that is, if you're interested in what I have to offer."
"... First, what is it you want to know?"
"The art of Summoning.... At the moment, my closest ability is to create a Shadow Beast by molding the darkness around me... but it is not a true summon... What I seek is the power to summon the Eidolons..."
"... I see... In order to summon, you need a Pact... There are contracts left in this world by Summon Spirits - and by using the contract one can bind the summon spirit to them... It's not a very complex art really..."
"Hm... " the art of summoning had gotten simpler then? Kain's memory was ancient, and having been imprisoned nearly 800 years had taken its toll. Times had changed where summon spirits were called forth by a mere piece of parchment? It was actually quite interesting...
"What is it you intended to trade?"
"This... I've no use to control, nor the power to control anything of the sort... Perhaps it would be of some use to an experienced Summoner.... It's a fragment I've been carrying.... It's old, so I dont know-"
".... This reveals the location of one of the God Summons!" Eluamous looked at the torn and burnt piece of parchment; obviously its last owner had done everything possible in order to prevent the Dark Knight from stealing it. The fragment was vague, and likely of no use in its current state; but its existence proved the legend of the God Summons were true...
"....I'm glad I could be of help then, perhaps in the future-"
"Eluamous Nailo"
"What?"
"I'm telling you my name."
"I never asked to hear it...." the Dark Knight reached for his dark blade in order to return it to its sheath, deciding that he had been friendly enough for one day.
"Leaving already?" Eluamous grinned as he took the sword in hand before dropping it, immediately expelling the dark energy from his hand; "Woah... Guess that sword knows its own, eh?"
"...The fact that your hand is intact proves something... Don't push your luck, Spartan..."
Kain would turn to leave before sighting Hurdy. How much had the boy heard? The Dark Knight immediately unsheathed Kotetsu again, his hand trembling for a moment; "Boy, what is your name and just how much did you-"
"Chill, don't hurt the kid. Listen, there's no need to go around trying to kill people for no reason... There's been enough deaths for one day... Loki is finally defeated, you ought to take to celebrating..."
"Celebrating Armageddon? I'll pass on that celebration... You cannot fight the darkness as you are.... That is why we Dark Knights exist... we turn the darkness upon itself and make it our weapon... It seems you too have much to learn....."
Kain would sheath Kotetsu before slashing his hand across the darkness to mold a Shadow Beast from it, mounting the creature before bolting away swifter than that wind....

Sighing for a moment, Eluamous would remove his hand away from his spear and approach Hurdy, but as he turned around he saw the discharge of lightning. Immediately striking a ThunderSeal on a piece of parchment, Eluamous would place the seal on Hurdys forehead in order to channel out the electricity that had electrocuted him

"Failure..." Reaver hisses, as the explosive snakes are launched in his direction. With only a single hand sign, he had merged with the mist itself, thanks to the use of the Mist Instantaneous Body Skill. Once out of the way of the explosive snakes, he reformed himself some where else in the mist and then made another series of hand signs. These signs soon allowing electricity to form around Reaver like that of an armor. This technique being known as the Lightning Armor Technique. Once the lightning had come into full creation, they were then attracted into the mist, being it was water it was a natural conductor. Anything inside the mist would then be shocked with a decent surge of electricity, only amplified by the multiple particles of this water in the mist. Since this technique was made not to actually harm the caster, Reaver had no need to move at all from the mist in order to dodge the lightning. it seemed to have no effect on him at all. Mean while, the series of Chakra Mosquitoes were also uneffected by the electricity. Since they were only that of chakra, they did not need tow worry. DIspersing further into smaller groups. They soon appeared to match the surroundings even with a thermal view. SInce they were insects, they would soon swarm the possibly knocked out shinobi, in order to drain him of his chakra, some landing to take blood back to Reaver as well.

"Wha-' Orochimaru could feel a slight tingling sensation throughout his body. As he could feel this strange tingle turn into some what of a numbing shock, he leaped off of his companion, who was getting paralyzed also, in the opposite direction. Orochimaru had leaped about twenty yards away from his companion, looking back at it as he jumped, which continued moving until completely stunned; because the snake is so large, the momentum it had built up in its muscles was extreme. And because it could feel itself going numb, it naturally tried to flee; and with a single burst of the energy it built up in its muscles, it jolted and crashed into the ground just outside of the mist cloud. While in the air, Orochimaru could feel his body going numb and attempted to perform one last hand seal. It was a success. He had performed one last hand seal as he lay on the ground, paralyzed; yet his eyes remained barely open. All he was capable to do now was lay there and await.

Arriving back in the village of Hidden Soul, Kain would allow the shadow beast to return to the darkness from whence it had come as he landed on the ground, looking up towards the rising moon "A Summoning Contract.... I suppose it is time to open that box then..." Kain would slowly walk towards a golden box he had stolen long ago, its contents marked with a Rune to symbolize lightning... "It's bee quite some time since I last dared to look at you... I always wondered, just what you housed.... I suppose it's time to find out.... Isn't it?" His Dark Blade Kiku-Ichimongi, the longer of his twin katanas, would lash out to slash open the box as the Dark Knight drew backwards in a defensive stance on instinct.... Nothing exploded; the box was not a trap, and indeed a container of some sort...
Walking slowly up to the box, Kain would unfold a small piece of parchment which lay in the bottom of the box; flattening out the creases as he read the words.... a Summoning Contract... Raion.

~:Orochimaru:~

As Orochimaru arrived at his home village, he planned on getting to know the kage better. She was known as Athena the Animakage; she was believed to have a super natural connection with all the species of animals, thus attaining her title. As he stepped off the ferry, he wondered over to a narrow dark alley; he used this to conceal himself and travel among the shadows to get to her office building. A shadow slowly slithered from the darkness and materialized a body, two yellow slits stared at the two, his Kage and Dozu with her. Within the mask his real eyes narrowed at the signs of weakness being made from his Kage it was not like her to show such weakness to a low leveled subordinate even! He crept closer and then allowed his presence to be known if they of course had not already noticed him there. He was not one to keep his presence unknown to those that he wanted to have them see him, but of course he if didn't want you to see him you would not see him...

"Animakage-sama...I have returned, I apologize for my lateness however the matters you had sent me to take care of had kept me for longer then expected do forgive me...I however am here to help you from this moment of weakness it seems yes? Dozu..."

He added no honorific to Dozu's name and acknowledged his presence with a mere nod he was not being impolite he just was not in any rush to be properly speaking. He wanted to get right down to the point and get everything over with he didn't want to jump through hoops all day trying to get them to understand him. Though of course his words may be considered rude however it was not his true intent, no he just wanted to get his point across.

Athena’s hand seemed to slip ever so slowly free from Dozu’s attire, her fingers gently uncurling as she allowed the soft material of his shirt to slip free from her touch. She knew it was true, every word that his warm breath carried was correct; the Creature Kage was currently showing a huge weakness in front of both the males.

Her mood currently took a dive for the worse as she remained standing in what seemed to be a mild case of shock, her anger diminishing as a strong wave of frustration crashed throughout her entire body. She knew, deep within her heart that she had developed feelings for Dozu, emotions she had denied for the longest time trying to convince herself he was only for, ‘pleasure’ or ‘work’ purposes. Disgusted in herself she slowly twisted on her heel, her body shifting forward as she turned to face the man who now stood in front of her.

“It’s….fine.” She muttered, a little disappointed in having to put an end to her and Dozu’s alone time together, knowing it was a bit rare to ever see them perfectly alone nowadays without having someone else by their side, or without either of them being interrupted by important duties or missions.

“You don’t…have to apologize, it's my fault for putting you in this type of situation.” Athena was surprised over how easily could tell how she felt about Dozu, she never thought she made her feelings obvious, but then again, her actions in someone else’s eyes could be perceived entirely different from her own.

“Perhaps…another time Dozu…when I was unconscious a lot of paperwork seemed to pile up, and as a Kage it is my duty to see those get finished.” It was a weak excuse, but one that would give her enough time to try and hide her feelings of embarrassment. She knew she wasn’t supposed to take interest in her fellow shinobi, nor have feelings for anybody, but lately since the death of Loki, Athena wasn’t able to think straight, her feelings all jumbled as she tried to think up an excuse for her current emotions.

"On the contrary my Kage, I am yours to command however for the good of your well being I suggest you come and retire back within your quarters...I of course shall stand guard as usual Animakage-sama! But, I do ask that I take on this task alone I do not need help at the moment defending my Kage from any threat of any sort..."

His eyes seemed as though they had drifted over Dozu however it would be impossible to tell due to the black snake-like mask that covered his whole face from ear to ear and chin to hair. No expression could be found from this only his voice conveyed what emotion he may possible be using. Yes, he did not convey emotions directly he only 'used' them for whatever purpose he would need them for, since he truly had lost his ability to feel as a human anymore. Of course this is what had made him the perfect killing machine and defender for the Kage his inability to feel freed him from guilt and pity. He could kill without thought or remorse, but he could do it much better when the Kage 'awakens' the sleeper, the other mentality that lies beneath Orochimaru's eyes.

"Shall we my Kage? I will be sure and see that your paperwork is properly filled out and neatly put in its proper place for now your rest is important...We need our leader to be back to full strength before other villages see this as a weakness! This would cause our enemies to attack without warning and in our present conditions there is a very low percentage of survival which would fall dramatically depending on if a foreign Kage involved themselves..."

He walked over to his Kage slowly and cautiously, with every bit of respect one would expect from such a loyal lackey, he was indeed the most loyal for now...He however had no reason nor will to leave her side therefore he would stay hers for as long as she needed, or for as long as she managed not to crack on him. His wraith was great and he would in the end likely take a part of the village with him as he left, and he was sure she did not want another Loki on their hands. He knew of the young boy, news had traveled fast to his ears it was a pity he died, the boy had a mass of potential. But it was wasted though now the beast resided within that other devotee, Rei, that one he was unsure of he did not dislike the boy but he was merely cautious.

Athena was not one to throw a hissy fit if things didn’t go her way, she’d either try to think of way out of the situation or throw down the white flag. In this case she took the honor of admitting defeat, her head slightly rolling to one side as she allowed a soft sigh to escape through her parted lips.

“Of course, I understand the weaknesses I possess in my still slightly damaged state.” Athena allowed her ice colored orbs to land on Dozu for one last time before she once again brought her attention to the man in front of her.

“Let’s go then.” She said simply before the pads of her feet gently lifted up from the soft grass below. The Creature Kage now had a new situation in her hands, the fact that Orochimaru could see right through her little act and pick up on her feelings for the other shinobi. She was planning on having a nice little private chat with him about that, wanting to discuss certain things and aspects with him since he was so able to see straight through her.

“Can…everyone see that…have I grown too soft?” Athena asked herself as she continued to walk ahead in silence knowing for a fact it would only take a few seconds for her faithful companion to be once again by her side.

There indeed he was, right by her side before she had even completed a step, a faithful servant to his Kage as she led the way to her quarters things ran through his head. Perhaps he may not have been so sharp, it seemed she was already under much stress however that was no excuse. He had convinced himself that it was his duty to defend the Kage from all threats, internal and external, even from herself if he must. He was the loyal pet indeed, however even a good dog can bite the hand which feeds it, there where never any promises made for how long he would remain as such. But it seemed for now as long as she did nothing disagreeable, he would remain as always her faithful companion and guardian, like it or not.

"Animakage-sama? Do you feel as though I may have been to...Harsh? I do not know such things...But the logical route was the one I chose you are weak in the moment and that weakness may indeed cause catastrophe for all of us..."

He turned his masked face toward her in silence now, he had said the words he had upon his mind, maybe she would give him an agreeable answer. If not there was no crying over spilt milk for this young man, he did not feel such things as that, no he was almost not even human anymore the only thing that made him such, was his ability to breath. Cruel thing to happen to such a young man with a wonderful future that could have been, but such is the way of things there was nothing that would be changed. He couldn't be anything but what he was now not even the mighty Animakage could change that no matter how devoted he may be to her.

A soft smiled seemed to spread along Athena’s lips as she pushed the door open, allowing him to step in before herself. She bathed Orochimaru in silence as she slowly closed the heavy door behind the both of them, the wood making a slight creaking noise as it grinded along its hinges.

“No, I don’t believe your being too harsh.” She finally replied, putting an end to the awkward silence that seemed to surface in their conversation. Gradually walking over to the spiral staircase that led to the second level, Athena seemed to flop herself down on about the third step away from the bottom. Placing both of her elbows on top of her thighs she leaned a bit forward, soon slipping her fingers in-between one another as she rested her chin on top of her intertwined hands.

“Is it obvious?” She asked simply, her bright eyes soon falling upon his figure.

“Can you really see what I desire?”

Slowly, but surely, Athena’s keen blue orbs finally strayed to his face, her gaze soon burning into his decorative mask as she awaited his answer.

It wasn’t that Athena was mad, not in the least bit, her anger had crumbled apart for some time now, and currently she was lost in a state of interest, Athena’s moods changing as quickly as the wind.

"I do not know...I can see it but perhaps that is because I am devoid of such feelings that it allows me to spot them so easily..."

He spoke now, without emotion there was nothing in his voice anger, sadness, happiness, nothing...It was as dead as the mask upon his face more so it seemed like the mask on his face in the sense that it seemed as though it had never been living at all. All this time he merely put on a mask, it was another face none of the personality he put before him was real, it was merely to satisfy the viewers. He learned quickly that a state of being without emotion usually caused people to grow angry or feel sorry for him, he didn't need either. Thus he created facades to keep the people around him in a false sense of security while underneath he was still nothing but a cold dead shell. A ghost if you will, he was alive but transparent in the sense that he did not feel and it seemed no one could touch him.

"You are to trusting...Your going to be destroyed by that which you want, that foreign Kage, he may desire you but it would not be in your interest to allow it to move any further then mutual relationship that benefits only your village, if you will...A truce that will keep his shinobi at bay, or perhaps even an alliance but do not feel for him or your fellow shinobi Dozu...It will lead you to destruction Animakage-sama..."

He said such sad and painful words without an ounce of remorse, or feeling within his voice, it was like speaking to a robot that had no true voice of its own. It was as though that which may have once been living inside of the young man in front of her had withered away and died without leaving a trace of its existence. There was a cold dead feeling when he spoke that only made the proof of this more prominent, he was nothing but a mask.

Athena’s head seemed to lift off slowly from her hands as she soon dropped both of her palms onto her lap. She allowed his words to flow throughout her entire mind, gently closing her heavy eyelids in the process. She knew he was right about everything, well almost at least, the part of her falling for the Crystal Kage was a bit off, but she could easily see how he perceived it that way. Keeping her eyes softly closed she lifted one of her hands up from her lap, using a slight gesture with her fingers to beckon him over. At the smallest sound of his shifting feet, Athena’s eyes seemed to open, her body still leaning over vaguely as she waited for him to approach her. It had been awhile since someone had actually had enough courage to stand up to the Creature Kage, and for that, Athena couldn’t help but to admire the towering man who stood before her.

"You know, I have been waiting for some time now for someone to actually set me straight.” Athena finally spoke as her orbs fell upon a certain darkened floorboard, the uniqueness of it catching her eye before she slowly looked back up at Orochimaru.

“What else would you like to tell me?”

Since she beckoned him toward her of course he would come closer and stand before her, overshadowing her with his tall and lithe form. He was muscular but not in the sense that he looked like some kind of super-man no, he was simple however techniques and other things allowed him to become stronger then human easily. It seemed she respected the fact that he was quite content on simply standing up to her as such. He of course, as her most loyal, would set her straight as he saw it as his duty as a loyal servant to keep her upon the correct path, allowing the village to flourish.

"My Kage I have only to tell you to be careful in what you do, villages fall and leaders are easily replaced, you are young and strong but that does not make you all powerful...Yet..."

He watched her once more silently, there really wasn't anything else for him to say to her at the moment his warning was enough it struck to true to the point. Of course it wasn't her fault, she didn't have the same background as he did she still had the ability to feel things and have regrets unlike himself. His snake-like mask seemed to gaze through her flesh and directly into her soul, his own eyes underneath would be doing about the same thing. But at the moment he was merely watching her, observing her reactions to his words, it was a learning process so that he could better commune with others.

Once again Athena found herself listening intently to his every word, looking up to him in as she truly admired his actions. It wasn’t everyday a person would remain this loyal to her, and be ready to help her out at the very first sign of a weakness.

With a long intake of air she lifted herself up from the step, standing near the edge of the smooth wooden stairs. With the advantage of the stairs Athena now seemed to be just as tall as him, her eyes falling upon the carved out slits in his mask as she seemed to lean a bit closer to him.

Placing both of her palms on top of his broad shoulders, her slender fingers seemed to gently coil over his attire.

“I admire you so much.” She whispered softly into his ear, her lips gently brushing across his skin as she remained close.

“Some days…I wish that I was born without emotions, so my life wouldn’t have to be dragged down by them, and I could truly be free of any weaknesses.”

He went rigid as he always did when someone who meant not to harm him touched him, it was just an odd reaction he always had. There seemed to be no stopping him from doing it either, it was as though his body was rejecting the physical contact as though it where some sort of cure being rejected by a body that wished to die. Maybe that is what it was, some sort of defense mechanism that had been created over time to keep him from feeling human warmth. It was a great one, people normally did not wish to hug what was pretty much a light pole, no people like hugging human bodies that had warmth. Her touch was warm but his skin was rather cold, but perhaps that was just an illusion or maybe a Jutsu activated, or maybe it was just how he felt. Whatever it was it was most certainly a deterrent from anyone trying to get to close to him to give him comfort.

"You wouldn't want this...I am an efficient killer and a loyal servant but otherwise I am all but dead...You need to have those emotions to let your judgment be for the good of the village, however you use them to much and disaster will follow..."

Subtly he somehow slipped from her grasp but she did not off balance and fall forward due to the lack of his presence in front of her, not she was still perfectly balanced. It was as though he had pushed someone else into her grip and then stepped back a few steps, however there was now no one in her embrace. No he was not one for the human comfort and warmth that only those with feelings could ever possess, no only he was free from this. Only he could overcome things that most people and shinobi and even animals could not, since he did not feel things the way they did it made him the ultimate predator.

As he slowly slipped away from her grasp a weak smile seemed to faintly tug at her lips, as if she was trying to force it to her mouth.

“Don’t worry, I’m not about to let my village fall into the clutches of disaster.”

It took awhile for Athena to realize she had no one within her arms anymore, the coldness once again enveloping her flesh as her limbs fell limply down to her sides. She seemed to be off in another world as she stared down at the ground with a blank expression etched along her face. All in one day she had already visited the doors of so many mixed emotions, from anger, to love; from love to confusion, and now the over baring feel of depression loomed heavily over her heart. So many emotions…so hard to deal with them all. Breaking her concentration with a quick shake of her head, Athena turned her back to Orochimaru, one of her feet gently lifting as she began her short trek up the twisted staircase.

“I apologize for wasting your time.” She replied solemnly with a soft sigh as she gently placed one of her hands upon the smoothen banister.

“You may go back to what you were doing, you are dismissed.” With that last note in the air, Athena continued up the long staircase, wanting nothing more then just to lock herself up in her personal quarters and try to forget and block of everything that had just taken place.

He shook his head silently as she left, he then took his place down at the entrance, however he could feel what was going on upstairs. He knew where she was and he would know where other shinobi would be if they entered, it didn't matter if they hid their chakra or not, every door and window in this place was obviously sensitive. This would make it hard for entry to be possible without someone knowing, there where also primitive methods of alarming that most shinobi knew nothing of. Needless to say if a shinobi climbed up the side of the building instead of entering properly through the front, he would most certainly know about it in advance.

"Perhaps it may have been for the best to just allow her to do what she would...I think that perhaps I may have made it worse, the fact that she is so depressed now conveys that..."

He shook his head in annoyance, sometimes he just could not understand these emotions, they got no-one anywhere, they but only added to the problem. Most of the time they where a weakness that made you insufficient for anything, and then of course feelings of love and lust, the things he hated most. They where a disease to him, they turned you into an animal, while fulfilling hormonal desires you where nothing but a beast in human clothes. As one could figure from his stiff demeanor when people simply touched him, he was defiantly unable to feel the warmth of human comfort, from a simple hug, to a sexual experience. He was cold and dead in all aspects of humanity, the only thing that showed him to be alive, was the beating heart in his chest.

It didn’t take Athena long as she soon found herself standing in the center of her office; the rather large desk positioned on the opposite side of the room seemed to be cluttered with all sorts of papers and folders, the white sheets laying loosely upon her already crowded desk. She had been most certainly been neglecting her duties as a Kage, putting the paperwork second as she tried to once again set order to her dysfunctional village.

“Damnit…I wish I hadn’t been unconscious for so long…”

Athena muttered hotly as she pulled out the wooden chair from beneath the desk, the legs scraping against the ground with a loud screech as she dragged it over the polished floor. With a long exhale of air, her bangs seemed to flutter gently as Athena exaggerated her frustration. Flopping down into the sturdy furniture she began to neatly organize all of her paperwork, putting it into separate piles and folders so it would be a lot easier to read, instead of trying to flip through random subjects where none of the writing seemed to match.

So much work, yet so little space left free in Athena’s cluttered mind. Her ink moved fast as she ran her brush neatly along the certain scrolls, jotting down small notes, or answering letters she had received. Since her village was rather secluded she didn’t received too many missions, making it pretty clear she’d only allowed her strong shinobi to participate in meaningful tasks. Cradling her cheek lazily in the palm of her left hand, she continued to work with her right. Athena had been working for hours now, the soft illumination of her candle flickering in silence as the sound of brush strokes would every so often fill the air as she dipped the fine tip within the thick ink.

“New requests…new people…more skills…more recruits…mission wanted from a small fishing village…missing Nin…wanted for murder…”

Her thoughts continued to overlap each other as she stared down intently at the many parchments before her. Reaching for a small cup, she brought it slowly to her lips, taking a long sip of what seemed to be some warm liquid judging by the steady flow of steam as it rose into the air above.

Allowing the soothing substance to slosh down her throat Athena gently placed it back down, the bottom making a small clinking noise as it hit against her desk.

“I hereby…yadda yadda…ranking…selling weapons…Athena YOU FOOLISH WOMAN.”

Athena flinched as she suddenly saw one of the titles of the paper’s clearly addressed to her. Her hand dropping free from her face as she held onto the parchment with two hands, trying to read the overly neat writing more closely, which strongly smelt of fresh soil.

“Dear: Athena YOU FOOLISH WOMAN!

I clearly give you a simple task, and even told you EXACTLY what to do. Its been weeks now and there still hasn’t been any sign of you destroying your village. I thought you were the smart one, and now I hear you nearly got killed from a little boy. Hah, maybe I shouldn’t have put my faith in you……
I’m still waiting for you to complete this mission, you father is still going against my ruling and well, to be honest, I think he’s gone a little nuts in the head. I really hope you still have all your marbles because he’s clearly lost ‘em.
Whenever you get off your lazy kister, make sure to come and see me…it’s been ages since I last received an offering for you. Maybe I should disconnect you from my power…

Well, Bye for now Miss Kage.

Anima, your faithful nature spirit."

Athena’s mouth seemed to drop as she quickly bolted up from her seat.

“s**t, I totally forgot about that.” Taking her black jacket from the back of her chair, she struggled to quickly put it on, pushing her arms into the sleeves as she held the ink brush in between her teeth.

“Great…just great, another thing I have to worry about…” She mumbled as her voice came out a little muffled thanks to the wooden brush that remain within her mouth.

Securing the long black jacket around her body her fingers worked quickly as she buttoned up one of the buttons near her waist so it wouldn’t just fly open at any minute. Throwing open the door to her room Athena bolted down the hallways, her ears soon ringing with loud bang of something heavy falling to the ground.

“Right. I never got that door fixed…” She noted with a mental sigh as she stood at the top of the stairs.

She knew Orochimaru would still be waiting near the entrance to her house, making sure to keep watch in case of any wandering shinobi.

Jumping down the stairs the pads of Athena’s feet seemed to hit about one or two steps before she reached the bottom, a soft thud filling the air as she now stood looking over at Orochimaru. She approached him with a weak grin knowing he might scold her for not doing her duties since he seemed to be rather strict about her keeping in good status.

“Orochimaru.”

Athena called out lightly as she approached him, her long jack fluttering behind her as the supple material grazed across her calves. With the brush still placed securely in her mouth she seemed to wear a goofy smile across her face, her teeth slightly showing as they sunk lightly into the wood. On her right cheek there seemed to be some black ink smeared messily over her smooth skin, the brush accidentally catching her face as she recklessly jumped down the rather higher staircase. As well as forgetting to put down her brush, the distracted Kage seemed to have buttoned up the wrong button, her jacket a bit lopsided as she hurried to respond to Anima letter.

Orochimaru watched his Kage decide to leap down the stairs as it where, it seemed she suddenly had something very important to do. He scowled silently at her as she approached him, she looked rather ridiculous, he was already rather unhappy with her conduct of the latter. But now the goofy smile and the lopsided clothes along with the ink smears, she looked like an academy student nose picker that had just gotten out of school. He silently walked up to her and without a word, he removed the brush from her mouth, unbuttoned her jacket and re-buttoned it correctly and the wiped the paint from her face. He then silently held out the brush for her to take back from him, his scowl did not seem to cease.

"Animakage-sama...I must protest your sudden decision to run off, you still need your rest you are not super-human..."

His scowl never ceased, even when he was speaking it looked as though he where still scowling, a thing about him that could never be explained however it was no matter. His eyes pierced her body searing into her soul burning away all of the lies and masks then finally making it down to the true carnal desires. This was his true gift of reading people, he looked into their souls like some sort of mystic and found what they truly desired, a gift given to make up from his loss of emotion. He was no mind reader he simply could see the things that people wanted right down to their most carnal passions.

Athena’s cheeks seemed to be tinted pink as her bright eyes had eventually fallen from Orochimaru’s gaze. She was acting rather ridiculous, but then again…she was in a hurry. Taking the brush softy away from his grip she muttered a quiet thanks as her eyes finally lifted back up.

“Its very important, I must go to the shrine as soon as possible.” She stated as she gently chucked the brush onto one of the tables that had been set up near the entrance of the room, the item landing on the glass with a loud clink.

“I appreciate your concern, I really do, but this has to do with our contract with the nature spirit, I can’t afford to lose that, I know you understand the importance in that.”

Delicately with one of her fingers she stroked the spot on her cheek where the black ink had been smeared, her skin still a little bit flushed with embarrassment as she knew Orochimaru wouldn’t be all that pleased with her actions.

“I apologize…” Athena repeated again as she knew he’d probably be scolding her for the rest of the day for her little childish incidents.

He waved his hand as though trying to swat a fly at her apology, he of all people knew the importance of their bond with the spirit. So he stepped over to the doors that lead out and opened them for his Kage and started his way toward the shrine, he knew which was her destination. She wouldn't be far behind him he knew that of course, always there was her speed and diligence when it came to her village and certain other things. He did not wait for her since he knew she would be either right beside of him or in front of him within seconds, he however was honestly baffled by her clumsy gestures. It made him doubt himself a little bit as a human being, however the feeling was quickly gone, he knew he was no longer human like she was.

"My Kage there is no need to apologize...I am sorry for touching you, I did it without permission or thought my life is your to take and do with what you will..."

He bowed his head in silence now as he made his way toward the shrine where they would most likely be making an offering to the spirit to speak with him. Or more so she would be making the offering to speak with it, he was just a spectator or if something went wrong and someone attacked he would be a protector. A powerful man such as him at such a young age could hold his own against many foes, and he would not allow himself to be taken by anyone if it would mean his Kage being left helpless. Dieing to protect her was not an option, especially if he died and someone ended up having their way with her anyways, it would be a useless death for him.

"Protector..."

He thought about the true meaning of the word, it did not seem like something he would do but maybe it was just the fact that he felt devoted to her. More so then feeling, he just simply 'was' devoted to her, without thought or feeling, a odd thing to explain and he had indeed tried to explain it without avail.

Even though Orochimaru had sprinted ahead of Athena it was only a few seconds before she eventually caught up with him. She didn’t feel like passing him a feeble attempt to try and hide her embarrassment. It wasn’t in Athena’s nature to go off running like a little schoolgirl just because she had accidentally made a fool of herself in front of the opposite gender, she realized Orochimaru was just looking out for her, after all he did take it as his one and only duty.

As they approached the shrine, one of Athena’s arms snapped out as she pried a young boy out from a tree where he had been currently hiding. With a long sigh her slender fingers coiled around the collar of his shirt as she dragged him effortlessly towards the center of holiness.

“People must think I’m an idiot if they don’t think I can sense the presence of a simple gennin.”

Judging by the headband he seemed to be from a small village that was clearly trying to make its way into the big leagues.

The boy struggled within Athena’s grasp as he kicked as tried to hack her with his kunai, the sharp weapon wobbling in the air as they blade continued to miss her limbs.

Shaking her head in disgust she tossed him in Orochimaru’s direction. “Snap his arms so I don’t have to deal with any troublesome jutsu’s.” She replied with a light smirk.

“See, this is what you get for trying to be a hero.” The Kage sneered as her cold blue orbs fell down upon the gennin.

“Don’t dare apologize for your actions, Orochimaru; you have nothing to be sorry about.” Athena added on hoping he’d get her hint that she didn’t mind him looking out for her, kind of appreciating the father like figure, one she had really never had.

Orochimaru sighed, the boy thrown to him he caught the young one by the neck and held up off the ground silently he was to busy struggling for oxygen to bother with jutsu. He threw the boy on the ground and before he could bother trying to get back up he stepped on the boys back and then grabbed both squirming arms. He pulled up on both of them which ended with a sickening popping sound as both the boy's arms where dislocated forcefully. He dropped the boy silently as he cried and squirmed about pitifully, the then picked him back up as they made their way toward the shrine.

"He seems a little scrawny..."

His only response, he had just broken a young boy's arms and was now taking him to death and all he did was comment on how the boy was a bit underfed. Truly he was a ruthless being without remorse, or more so without the emotion that would warrant such a thing as remorse or pity. He just didn't feel those things like everyone else, he was cold dead husk no wonder he had such an odd name such as Orochimaru , which of course meant snake, or evil. He didn't even really have those emotions either but when he fought those where the emotions that he would put upon himself.

“That is enough Orochimaru.”

But rather than stop, Orochimaru continued to stomp upon the boy’s back with all his force. He planned on making sure that someone who attempt to attack his kage would never be able to perform another jutsu for as long as they lived.

“People like you shall learn one way or another.”

Orochimaru then inhaled and his mouth began to puff up. With the opening of his mouth, his tongue as a razor sharp blade stabbed into the boy’s now torn shoulder. Orochimaru slowly raised his head, and as he did the sword cut through the boy’s arm until it was completely gone. He repeated this process for the boy’s other arm and watched as the boy fell to the ground. Blood had made a giant red pool of blood in the middle of the kage’s room.

“Now go and tell everyone of your sins, and tell them who freed you of them.”

Orochimaru then turned towards Athena only to see her face in extreme anger. But instead of lingering around to hear her voice. Orochimaru’s dark figure sank into the ground as he fled.

Joker looked and he soon left the Hidden Movie Village. He left a bit dissapointed and heartbroken. But he found out that the exams were coming up and he still needed to train hard... However Joker soon forgot what his plans for the exams were. He sighed slowly as he sat outside the Hidden Movie. He saw his girls were just standing beside him. He looked up at his girls and he knew what they were missing. Something that should've just been in plain view. Joker would start to gather supplies for his new project. Joker looked but he didn't know were to start. The sand boy hhad usually started his project for him and all he had to do was usually paint it. But this onewas special..This one he wanted to be a lot more than just another girl. HE pulled otu scroll after scroll looking for just the right parts..however they just didn't feel right. Joker looked and he only crossed his arms as he sighed slowly. He couldn't figure out way. But that didn't matter right now..He looked up at the sky as he saw all the geletian people sliming into a village.

"What is this.."

Joker looked as he started to walk into the village as slow as they were moving.

He was amazed by the people..they were unlike any people that he had ever saw before. They were like jelly..they were jelly..but not the type he wanted to spread on his bread. He wanted to study them alot..but he only watched them walk into this village. Hidden Substance..he had heard of a lot of them before. He knew about that they were a bunch of banned clans...However..he didn't think they had acutally existed...That's what took him by shock. They were all living in such peace and harmony. It reminded him of home. He didn't really kill that many people back at home that didn't deserve it. Just the ones that did. Joker only picked at his teeth with a tooth pick. He had already decided that he wasn't going to kill these people. He liked them a bit to much..just because of how they looked. Joker would love these people like they were like his own family..well he did kill his family..no he didn't..not yet.. He always wanted too.. But there was something holding him back from chopping them up to little pieces. From little itty bitty pieces..with his nice size cleaver. He was going to rip them apart..tear them apart..even eat there inards for dessert. But he decided not too. He couldn't..he hadn't killed enough people yet to kill his own family. He walked into the village to start his training. Joker looked and he started to walk deeper into the village. As he started to look at the people..they were blind..they were deaf..they were mute..They were everywere. Joker only wanted to cut them up...He wanted to understand how they worked and how they lived. However he had to resit the urge. He had to resist to cut up them..he had to not slice them open. The blood urge was calling to him. Joker only cracked his knuckles as he left his jacket closed as he didn't want to kill them.

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.Joker only studied as he saw the jelly people even more. He noticed that they were able to change the water into jelly with a thought. They were barely even have to touch the stuff. They were some what amazing to watch. Joker only looked at them and he only popped open his jacket as he touched the ground and a chair appeared. He sat down in his chair slowly and only started to play in his shaggy green hair. He did love his hair. he wondered if he could stick his hands in one of the people and use it for hair grease. Or would that be rude. Joker really didn't care..he just didn't want to put himself at odds with the new people that he havn't met. HE didn't want another Moon incident. He knew that there were would be a retribution to pay for that. But he would kill all of them anyways..So it didn't matter. Joker looked and he only reached for his knife. He sighed slowly. That damned Kage wasn't human. That wasn't fare. Or at least he didn't have a human base. He was something else. Joker could tell by his look. THe moon kage really pissed him off. Joker looked and he started to walk forward to the Jelly people. He only sighed again as he cracked his fingers. He looked at them... They only looked at him. Joker looked at the people and they only slowly bowed to him.
"good Evening."
Joker only looked as he had never been offered a formal introduction. They always wanted to kill him. Just by one glance they wanted to kill him. These people wanted to get to know him. They only politly bowed again.
"So how are you today..."
Joker only looked at them as he only scratched his head again. He looked at them and he only let out a small smile as he started to laugh.
"MY name is..Joker..I am from Hidden Clown.. I have come here to train with you...I want to learn your techniques and possibly...be a better ninja with it."
The people only looked at him and they gather together and they stared at him again. The eldest stepped forward with the a long stick in his hand. He walked towards him and touched his head.
"What's your plan..how do you plan on being the best my son?"
Joker only looked again as he scratched his head. He moved his hand slowly as he said rather grimmly with a huge smile across his face.
"My plan on being the best..MY plan on being the best...it's simple..I plan on being the best..by killing the rest...If you find a problem with that..I will kill you..which I don't want to do..Because I don't find a problem with you people..and I don't find the humor in killing such an interesting medical mystery. IT doesn't mean that I WON'T kill you..please don't misunderstand me..I will do it..I just won't have fun doing it..."
The clan eldest removed his hand. He knew that joker was the agent of death. That he had no morals. That he would do anything to prove himself. The Clan eldest only nodded his head.
"Teach him our ways my sons..and maybe we can provide light in his heart.."
Joker only laughed. If only they knew how impossible that was..

Akira walked into Hidden Substance. It was not really too hard to find the clown who attacked Hidden Moon. Akira walked through Hidden Substance. He was used to traveling and knew where to spot the differences between villages. This village interested him quite a bit. In reality, he hoped that he did not harm it too much since he would probably plan on training here soon enough. It was actually the clown's laugh that led Akira to him. Running through the streets, Akira made it to the Joker's location quickly.
"All right, clown, time to die."

He sighed slowly as he only reacvhed in his jacket reaching for his knife. He tossed up two scrolls as his Girls came down next to him. They both seemed to laugh as the wind blew threw them. Joker only looked up and he sighed slowly.

"So...It only took you this long to find me..well then...No need to explain what I did...So let's play some ball.."

Joker said as he licked his lips. He loved the taste of a looming battle. However he did figure he was the best for miles and miles. Maybe that would be his down fall. OR maybe his crazyness would only make him that much better. He popped his knuckles slowly throwing the knife from hand to hand. He did love his knives. He looked at the geletan people as he sighed slowly.

"After I cut this man were the moon don't shine.. We will continue our training. Hahahaaaa."

Joker smiled as he excused himself and his girls were sure to follow.
