Roll:11
Tumble 1

DC: 12
Formula: 1d20 + Tumble(Dex)
Train: 0/5

He hit the ground rather shoddily, not shifting his weight right, he wouldn't count that as a success, he'd keep trying...after all, he had all day to train, there was no where he needed to be...his stomach growled...

Scratch that, tumble exercises, then a meal, then more training...he lay his coat down at the base of the tree, and pressed on back up.

Roll: 13+1=14

DC: 12
Formula: 1d20 + Tumble(Dex)
Train: 1/5

He landed and quickly regained his footing. Well done... but he couldn't allow his over confidence to take hold. He immediately started back up for another leap. Xen was not going to let himself stop until a task was completed, it wasn't really one of his ideals so much as stubbornness.

He climbed up the branches of the tree almost methodically, going over the leaps in his mind... he would get better...it was just a matter of time. Of this, he had no doubts.

He landed hard but his experience of yesterday prevented him from taking damage...and least he was indeed improving, if only bit by bit. He took moment to truly appreciate his bad luck. The academy being destroyed was indeed a disaster, but he probably wouldn't have cared at all if it didn't effect him personally. As it was now, he might have to literally hunt down an instructor just to learn the academy jutsu... it was annoying... but complaining about it would get him nowhere he supposed, he prepared for another leap.

He landed just in time, rolling into a perfect pose, still, that one was close. He stood ponderously, noting mentally certain points from the fall, even the way the wind had been blowing... no detail might be too small...

He flicked his wrist, as though loosening the tendons as he marched dutifully back toward the tree. He picked out a higher spot this time. No point in not raising the bar... he chuckled near silently to himself...

He managed once more to avoid injury, but he still came to a halt on his elbow, his roll losing it's balance. He didn't let it discourage him, after all... it wasn't like this was any worse than yesterday...

He took a moment this time to stretch out again, not wanting his muscles to seize up before he worked his way into the real training... his stomach growled again he sighed. 'Yes yes, and we'll get you something to eat.'

Another close but no cigar.

He cracked his neck returning to the tree. It was strange but, he didn't really even feel tired yet. He was even starting to feel more warmed up. Well, at least this flesh of his was resigning itself to his fate. He chuckled again to himself...

He might get a knack for this physical stuff yet. He look grew more serious. Of course he would... he had to if he wanted to make his way as a ninja...it was just part of the program...

He landed perfectly, his work showing itself well, he straightened rolling his neck, pleased with himself, though not letting it go to his head, he'd failed to many times for that.

His stomach growled again...

He sighed putting a hand over it. "Oh very well..." he walked over to his coat and pulled out a small shiny red apple...geez, how many pockets did he have? He took a large bite from it and sat back at the base of the tree...

After quickly devouring the apple, and knowing he had one more awaiting him in another pocket, he climbed the tree again, discarding the core.

Another perfect landing... excellent... he returned to the tree quicker this time, his warm up nearing completion, on more successful jump and he'd take break to eat that next apple...his stomach it seemed was eager as well, and it was egging him on as he scaled the tree. He'd jump from the very top this time, this tree slightly taller than the one from yesterday...

He cleared his mind as he'd been learning to do, he would not fail...

Sujin, approached through the garden quietly. He noticed instantly that a boy was training there. It didn't matter though, his embarrassment was outdone by his need to learn these jutsu. "A tree cannot grow without roots." he said to himself, setting down the pamphlets on a rock. He stood in a relatively deserted place, so that he could be alone while he trained. Sujin examined the two small books, deciding on Nawanuke no Jutsu. He knew the just of the jutsu, and pulled up 2 bushins. Untieing his one of the many tassles around his rode, he handed it to one of the bunshin. He and the bunshin without a rope stood back to back while the other tied them together. The tieing clone stepped back and Sujin and the clone undid themselves with ease. "Not so hard..."

Cp: 100-2=98
Use Rope: 9
Escape Artist: 9+5
Roll use rope:16+9=25
Roll Escape clone:8+14=22
Roll Escape sujin:18+14=32

Train:1/3

Nawanuke no Jutsu
I will tie two students together using my Rope Skill (1d20 + 1d10 + Use Rope(Dex)) The students will each roll a (1d20 + Escape Artist(Dex)) and add their totals together. If they beat my score they have successfully untied themselves. If not, they must try again to beat the same number. They must do this 3 times to complete training and will recieve 10 experience points.

Bunshin no Jutsu:
This is a basic technique taught to ninja at an academy. In certain years, Ninja are required to know this jutsu in order to advance to the Genin level. Bunshin no Jutsu creates one or more clones of the user, which can be used as a means to create a diversion, distraction, or cause confusion. Unlike Kage Bunshin no Jutsu (Art of the Shadow Doppelganger), these illusory clones will simply disappear if come into contact, thus, they are without substance, and cannot do anything to damage the opponent.
Cp cost: 1 pt. per bunshin.
Damage: N/A
Requirements: Academy students learn it on the academy as a basic jutsu.
Training days: Academy. Chakra control check DC: 5 per bunshin.
Special: Can create 1 per 5 points in Chakra control. Up to 5 bunshin can be created.
*The user assigns a number 1 through 6 to themselves and each of their clones indivudually. The attacker rolls a 6 sided die to see what they hit.
The Intelligence check DC to see through an attacker's bunshin is the 1/2 the attacker's int mod + half the attacker's chk mod.

Training Complete

The rushing of the air was quickly silenced as the ground came to meet him, but he rolled, controlling his weight and agilely made the landing, sticking it. He let a mellow smile show and said "Aces."

His stomach reminded him rather noisily that they had a meal to finish, and he himself couldn't help but laugh. Walking back to his coat he snagged his last apple from within and took an eager chomp, satisfied with his work out for now. He'd rest here in the shade for a time before moving on.

Still, as he sat there in the shade he wondered... who was he going to talk to learn the academy jutsu... one of the lenses to his glasses glared over in the early sunlight as he thought, turning the issue over.

Once free of the tassel he and his clone picked it up and handed it to the other bunshin. Once again they stood back to back. "Tie us better this time." he said quietly to the clone circling and knotting the rope around him. It was tight on his bare skin. Sujin worried about the clone he was tied to popping. But soon they were tied safely and all was well. This time the rope was even easier to free themselves from. Sujin smiled, he didn't expect it to be this easy. "A bird such as me, can never be caged." He pulled the tassel up completely unknotted.

Suddenly heard voices from somewhere nearby... he took another bite from his apple and, his curiosity getting the better of him, he picked up his coat, slung it over his shoulder, and, still munching contentedly on his apple, went of in the direction of the voice.

He supposed watching someone else train might help, after all, he was already to learn from others...whether they liked it or not.

Again they both stood, perfect images of each other. As they set their backs together, each one tattoo's mirrored the other, and the boys looked as if they were an art piece, sculpted and painted to make you think "What?". Soon they were covered by the brownish red tassel and the intending clone pulled extra hard on his knots. The tightness left red marks on his perfectly toned chest. "I thought I said tie it better that time?" He joked to himself as he looked into his own eyes. The clone stepped back silently. Sujin sighed, it was hard to breathe with this on. However, the two Sujin's set to work and it barely took a second to until himself. As the tassel fell from his body, the boy dismissed his clones with a burst of white smoke. "I told him to tie it better."

The sound of a loud crunch filled the air. Xen had bitten into his apple yet again, his golden eyes trained to the Shinobi. His first impression of this person was that they were stronger than he. Something just told him.

Maybe it was instinct, who knew, but Xenon was certain of it. Still, he showed not a trace of this. He merely looked lazily pleasant, and took another bite from his apple. With his mouth slightly full he noted "Very impressive."
