Wait... what happened exactly?))
Loralei snarled ferociously when caught head to head with the beast. Somewhere in her mind, the part that wasn't clouded by her blood lust, was a thought that said, This is actually... kind of fun....
Finally, Loralei felled the beast, attacking the bear's throat with her fangs, drinking the blood from the veins hungrily. Slowly, her appetite was appeased, and she sat up from the meal. Loralei wiped furiously at her mouth, which was dripping with the bear's blood.
She stood, and headed home.

Alucard slumped down into a chair and waited for Loralei to come back. After seeing Loralei's speed he knew that he wouldn't have the slightest chance at ever defeating her. He gave a long sigh.

Loralei bounded up the steps, the high that she received from hunting still buzzing through her. She opened the door and walked inside, remembering not to slam the door with her newfound strength. It might cause it to break...
Loralei peeked into the room she was lying in earlier, and her nose crinkled in disgust once more. A barrage of smells greeted her, and she almost choked on them. Instead, Loralei swallowed her disgust and said to Alucard, "What's the matter with you? Tired?" she cocked an eyebrow.

Loralei cocked an eyebrow. "What's it to you?" She didn't remember Alucard ever being so aloof... or probing. "And it was fine thank you. Bear seems to be good this season." she smirked.

"Heh, you should try eating humans. They're far more appetizing," Alucard grinned. He had seen something that Loralei didn't, and it made him feel somewhat happy over Loralei's change. He had a devious smirk on his face.

Loralei caught the smirk. "Why are you smirking at me? What did I do this time?" she sighed. If she did something stupid, she might as well hear it sooner than later... "And... no. I'm not eating humans. End of story."

"Feh, you're going to cave in sooner or later. When you do you'll act like a complete animal..it's not pretty. You should drink some human blood before that happens," Alucard said, "But if you prefer to wait it out and act like an animal, so be it."

Loralei frowned. "I will never act like an animal because of a craving for human blood." She sniffed, looking a bit haughty. "Don't tell me what will happen to me. It's my choice, I'll drink animal blood. That should satiate the thirst." It sounded like she was trying to convince herself more than anything...

"Idiot...it's not a choice, it's inevitable. Some vampires can go a long time without drinking human blood, and then get driven down to their basic instincts when they see or taste human blood. For others the instincts kick in with time intervals, and I think you might be the latter.. We'll see sooner or later, now won't we," Alucard folded his fingers together, "Hmph."

Loralei smirked. "What brought on this 'bout of caring?" she looked about herself, somewhat confused. "It's... kind of different." Loralei muttered.
Then she remembered the mess that was made in her room. "s**t. If you'll excuse me..." Loralei grimaced. "I have a mess to attend to..." She smiled before she ran up the stairs, nothing more than a blur.
What she saw made Loralei stop dead in her tracks. "Alucard... what have you done to my room?!"

Loralei grunted. "Not you, the other you you!!" She sighed, frustrated. Clothes were strewn all over the floor, things were knocked over in Alucard's haste to find something to cover himself with. "Oh brother..." Immediately, she went into cleaning mode, throwing dresses, skirts, bodices, and the like over her shoulder, and began hanging them with her newfound inhuman speed. Then she went about picking up the things that Alucard had knocked over, like the desk over in the corner. How that happened, she didn't know...

Loralei grumbled in success after finishing her room. It was spotless, and, if this were an anime... it would have those shiny things coming off the furniture. She nodded once, then began to head downstairs.
