At last, the drive to HQ finally ended; it felt like an eternity as Nari's nerves got worse the longer they rode. In all honesty, the ride was barely fifteen minutes. During the last part of the ride, Nari tried to think of possible outcomes of the current situation-- what to do if Twi woke up and refused to cooperate, how to deal with any members of HQ, how to deal with Luc specifically, where to run if he had a gun... Many scenarios drifted through her mind.
"We're here," Max said flatly, snapping Nari to the present again. Though Max didn't like it, they were parked in the front of HQ. He would have preferred to park in the back, but the fence around the outskirts of the property prevented him from doing so. All he could do was turn out the headlights and keep an eye out. "I hate to bring this up... But if all hell breaks loose, find a way to alert me and run back to the car..." he sighed and gulped. "I'll be around here in the trees or something." Nari thought about this for a moment. 'I guess I'm not the only one thinking about the worst-case scenario,' she figured and nodded before getting out of the car.
Observing Twi in the back seat, she wished she had brought a rope or something to make this "kidnapping" more believable. Knocking him unconscious was good, but leaving him unbound was unprofessional. "Look in the trunk," Max said. A light click was heard as he automatically unlocked the trunk. Nari went to open it to find handcuffs, rope, a few blindfolds, and a small red wagon. 'How did he.... I owe him one. This is why I can leave him in charge,' she thought surprised, also a bit proud of her second-in-command. She handcuffed Twi's hands to his backside, wrapped a blindfold around his mouth, tied his feet together, got the wagon, and hauled him out of the car. The strain was bad on her injured abdomen, but she ignored the pain. She plopped him onto the wagon now beside her and strapped the rest of the rope around him and the wagon. Turning to Max, she gave him a nod before quietly trekking into the lawn with her cargo. There were few places to hide in the lawn, aside from a few scant trees. If anyone was outside, she would be easily seen unless she saw them first. Plus, the slight squeaking of the wagon wheels wasn't helping her remain under the radar.
Edited ((xD It was the only thing I could think of to get Twi's heavy butt to HQ.))

Koji sort of shook his head as they got in the car and headed back to HQ. "I'm sorry, I don't really know all that much." He checked over his shoulder to be sure that Luciano was secure in the back seat. "I didn't even know why Twi had left until today. We went and hid out for a while in the Zen Gardens and he told me he was working with the vampires and that he was trying to keep them away from the gang as much as possible. We didn't get too much time to talk, he was pretty anxious to get back into hiding, and I don't remember if he even said where he was going." Koji sat and thought about it for a few seconds, then what Luciano had said about Nariana came back to him. "I no idea what happened when I was gone today, but if Luciano was calling Nari a traitor then maybe she knows something about Twi too."
How on earth do you fit a red wagon inside a car trunk? That must be some tiny wagon.
Sabe's ears twitched as he heard a car roll in and doors open and shut, a break from the silence of the past few hours. Good thing, as he was about to fall asleep. He shifted around a little before looking past one of the bigger branches. While he was hoping Luciano came home, he saw Nariana pulling a red wagon with Twi on it. At least she had keys to the door. All he wanted was to go back inside and go to bed, though he did plan to fix the busted machine in his room. Today was simply too long for him to deal with.
He jumped down from where he was perched, nearly planting his face into the dirt.

'Just gotta get inside. Just gotta get inside,' Nari told herself, her nerves getting worse with every squeak of the wagon wheels. This was definitely not how she wanted to come back, but it was that or carry Twi herself. 'Oh, well...' she thought and would have sighed if she wasn't trying to be quiet.
That's when she heard a crunch a little ways off. Her head snapped in the direction of the noise, and she immediately recognized who it was. "Sabe," she said coldly, speeding up her walking pace. There was no way for him to miss seeing her from where he was perched, so she continued walking. Though she doubted he could really do anything, she wondered if he was there to be an obstacle. If he was back, maybe that meant Luciano had also returned and was waiting for her. Whatever the real reason, she remained on high alert and listened for anyone else.

Nariana
Sabe got up and caught up to Nariana as she walked toward the door. The wagon caught his attention, as somehow it supported an adult's weight and could still move. Whatever, she's stubborn enough to make it work he thought. But Nariana kept walking, which reminded him to ask a more pressing question.
"...do you have keys to the door?" he asked from behind, "I had to walk all the way back here just to find the door locked."

Twi stirred and groaned, shaking his head. he bumped it on the edge of the wheelbarrow, and exlaimed "owch! what the--!?"
looking up, he saw Nari and Sabe above him, with the former holding the handle of the wheelbarrow.
"what did you do that for?" he asked, without thinking about it. mentally, he was still back in the ally.
Sabe glanced at Twi, then looked back at Nariana with a raised eyebrow. How did she not kill him? he thought. The tone of Twi's comment seemed off for how hostile Nariana was to him before. Not to mention, did it imply there was an earlier truce of some kind?

Nari sighed loudly when Sabe asked if she had keys. He was so useless sometimes. After his simple question, she was certain that he was of no harm to her. He was just... How could she describe it? 'Sabe being Sabe,' she thought and rolled her eyes while her back was turned. If Nari was in his position, she would have tried to find a way to break in.
She was fishing in her pockets for her keys when another person spoke up. Twi awakening so soon was unexpected, and her eye twitched at his question. 'Please stop talking...' she silently wished, hoping he wouldn't say anything too suspicious to give away info about their last meeting. Instead of answering him, she turned around to glare at him as a warning. She could either say nothing and ignore him, or she could keep face and threaten him in Nariana-like fashion. She chose the latter.
"You should be glad I didn't kill you back there. Now be quiet before I change my mind..." she said, praying he got the message to sit still and shut up. She had no intention of killing him, but she didn't trust Sabe enough to relax. She found her keys in her jacket and unlocked the door to HQ.
"Well, hopefully we can finally get to the bottom of this. ." She sighed and drove the car down the street and took a right. "D'you have any way of contacting people on your team?" While she waited for an answer, she decided to take an alternate route to HQ. The least amount of attention she brought to her and her new companion, the better. And as she drove, she was hoping that she didn't have to do anymore running around just to find people. There wasn't any time for that now. She pulled out her phone and handed it to Koji, "If there's someone that you can think of contacting, I need you to do so."

Nariana
"Thanks..." Sabe trailed off as he stepped inside HQ and made a beeline for his room. Once inside he nearly pounced onto his bed.
Nothing felt better than laying on that mattress with a giant striped blanket after walking for hours to get back here on a chilly night. The busted portal in the room still needed fixed, and he had planned to do so, but right now he was in a state of bliss that threatened to make him fall asleep again. It did not help that he didn't sleep well at all for the past few days.
Though...there was still a still a sliver of doubt in the back of his mind. He might be dragged back into what was going to ensue in HQ.
at the threat, Twi sunk back into the wheelbarrow, hoping that Nari was bluffing, but unwilling to risk it. he also hoped that Sabe didn't catch on to the fact that he hadn't tried to escape by now when he certainly could have. not that Sabe was one to be worried about.
Twi kept an eye out around him as Nari and Sabe entered HQ. he wanted this "capture" to look convincing, afterall. if Luciano were anywhere around, he had a feeling he'd be dead before the interrogation could begin....

"Yeah, I'll see if I can get a hold of Nari first." Not that he had any other leads. If nothing else, he knew Nari was at least reliable for keeping a phone on her for all of her business calls. He instinctively reached for his phone but was handed another one. Maybe it would be best to call from a number that she doesn't have in her phone. Koji pulled up the number and dialed, hoping the call would get through.

Meanwhile, in the backseat, Luciano had just come to a few moments ago, but he stayed insanely quiet. Plus, there wasn't much he could do since he was bound. But he heard some of what they had said. . ". . .Once we get to HQ, I'm breaking free, and I'm contacting The Don. . I can't believe that I'm working with traitors. ." Luciano stayed quiet. He wanted to hear what Koji was going to tell Nari. .

Once Sabe scurried away to his room and distinctly closed the door, Nari let out a sigh. At least there was one person who didn't care what she was doing. She could appreciate Sabe for that, if nothing else.
Looking down at Twi, she put a finger to her lips to make sure he remained quiet. She wasn't sure if anyone else was home, though it seemed unlikely. As she walked, her phone buzzed in her pocket. She pulled it out, turned off the vibrator, and looked at the screen. 'Unfamiliar number. Who would call me?' she wondered and decided not to answer. If it was business, they could just contact Maximilian. Max was in his car as far as she knew, so he had his cell. Not sure who was on the other line, she shrugged and let her voice mail take over. She left the lobby and wobbly dragged the wagon down the steps leading to the basement. Twi's butt was sure to be sore after all the bumps and jolts.
When they were inside the interrogation room where Twi was originally held and the door was locked, Nari rubbed a hand over her forehead. This was stressful, even if it was her own plan. Confident that no one was around to hear her, she finally let her guard down some and moved to untie Twi from the wheelbarrow. "Okay. So we're here... and it seems like no one else has caught on, which gives us a little time to work this out," she started as she began working on the knots around Twi's torso. "You can turn into some wolf-like creature, right? Can you do anything else?" she asked him, trying to assess all of her options for making his escape seem believable.
