She looked at Alice noting the anger from her "Do not forget Alice you are not the only one here who had no choice." She moved playing her hand along Mercy's arm before walking to the window and looking outside, her hair blowing in the breeze.
Jinx rubbed Alice's arm lightly.

Maya shrugged, "Oh, well. It would have been wonderful to meet her." She sat down on a nearby couch, tucking her knees beneath her. Her hands began to emit small fire balls, she smiled shaping them into different images.

Voro finally stopped laughing to respond to what Yamimaru had said about when he assaulted the mansion. "I needed no protection from anyone. If it was given, it was voluntary. You should be grateful your alive. You should be begging Moonreaper everyday for gratefulness because he saved you. Where all preferred you dead. It seems we still stand by that notion."

She crosses her legs. "I'm starting to think Yamimaru is fun. I wouldn't want to see him dead, though I don't want any one dead...And Voro, yes, we all know you can handle yourself, why should his comment matter?"

*She looked at Lady.* I haven't forgotten but it bothers me when I meet someone who has done it to another. It makes it fresh. *She leaned back against Jinx, grateful he was there.* I agree with Domi though, I do not wish anyone dead, even if they have enslaved another.

Maya nodded her head, "Neither do I." She looked up from what she was doing, "It would be better if there were no wars.. no fighting... So many innocents have to die...." Her eyes seem to go vacant, as if reliving a life a long time ago.

She nodded alittle, but did not speak again only listening to their conversation. She had caused too many wars to really say anything about war, killed too many innocents to really care too much either way, and had fought all her life.
Jinx looked at Lady then looked back at the room "Life is one big war, to be better than others. Its a big fight just to stay alive, and innocence does not truly exist anymore. Some like Lady never knew a life without war, without fighting, with innocents. That is why when she found this place she grew attached, the old leader had many of the same wants she did. A place where anyone could live in peace, a place without fighting, without war. When the clan was handed to her, she promised herself to make sure it stayed that way. But it seems her own fate caught up with her." He sighed and rubbed Alice's arm again "It is understandable to feel that way, but in the end all vampires are just slaves of the Council."

She never turned to look at them when she spoke "Every vampire that is created the Council knows about, its impossible to keep secret from them." She sighed and spoke to Dreyain "The only way to get the Council to leave you along if you live here is to die or anywhere infact. I am the Daughter of what amounts to the Head of the Council, one of the oldest of us all, one of the first of all this. Even my forced exile by the Council itself does not keep them from me."
Jinx nodded to Voro "That is also true."

*She leaned forward and placed her face delicately in her hands. It looked as if she might actually cry but she straightened back up, her face emotionless, but there was a resigned dignity about her.* Then I guess I will just have to deal with the slavery of the council.
