So...my parents are telling me I'm deceiving them, manipulating them, and "writing them off" because I am sending them information about transpeople and gender specialists, to HELP them. My mom also told me I was just putting "stupid ideas" into my head.

That is so ******** PISSY. Why can't people just understand? And your PARENTS. It doesn't make any sense.

WTF dude, that's messed up.
I mean you're trying to help them understand what you're going through.
I mean some parents need to realize that no matter what you're going through you're still their child.

Even AFTER I explained to them that it was a medical condition that people are born with. They're uber Christians that were born in the early 50's so I don't expect them to understand.

You should be able to count on your parents, at least. It's not fair to you. I mean, first you feel bad about your body, and then your parents basically rub it in.
It's practically abuse.

Well if it makes you feel any better my mom is in here telling me that "gay is not the way" and that "I'll find a nice boy one day" oh and that "I'm disgusting" and all that bullshit. So yeah, she apparently doesn't approve of me. She was born back in the day too so I don't expect her to understand either.
