Seph nodded pulling off her t-shirt and flinging it away into the trees "I am not fussed about a little rain but it defeats the point of wearing this" she shrugged jumping into the next tree spotting an apple sitting on its own in a branch "All the water could fall off the leaves and onto us after heavy rainfall"

Hebal glomped Mari back scooping her up onto her shoulders "Nice to know you don't think I look like a silly squirrel but for a while the trees will keep out some of the rain and if you want I do have a spare raincoat you can wear so long as you don't mind it being pink" she told Mari looking up at Oinee "could I get a ride later too?"

Amane smiled shaking the snow off her fur "Oops sorry Zadina I forgot it was going to go all over you" she apologised brushing the snow off she shook onto him then turned around to see a laughing Melanae sitting in the snow next to them "Hiya when did you get here Mel?"

Melanae giggled waving to the others "Hi, I came a couple of years ago but it was just so funny seeing you snowball fight so I figured I would watch for a little bit first "Mum said yes to me sleeping over too" she greeted them patting her bag.

Oassu raised an eyebrow "I don't know, would a float bubble keep the rain out?" he asked unsure. "Aeon stories like that were before my time what happened in them?" he asked.

Gil frowned seeing Satoshi sigh "Hey hey whats the problem? She said you can have a go on Dawntracker when we meet him, or her, so what are you worried about?" he said snuggling her sligtly "And sure maybe they are, maybe she and Cid are like way way way distantly related cousins." he chuckled at the thought.

Mari giggled snuggling into Hebal's ears "Thanks Hebal you've just got everything awesome but I think you should let Satoshi get the first ride" she giggled pulling Hebal's ear gently so she could whisper into it "That way maybe she and Gil can get more snuggly later" she whispered.

Itaka smiled admiring Seph's body now the T-shirt was off "Mmmmmm nice and don't be so negative I'm sure we've got plenty of shelter in these trees" he said frowning as he saw a raging dual horn passing below "Fiends must be getting annoyed by the mist now" he murmered.

Zadina frowned brushing the snow off him "I hope you ain't been spying on us long naughty Mel" he said wagging a finger at her "But still thats great news you can stay with us!" he said happily.

Felina cleared her throat making sure Cid was tightly tucked away in her bag. "It's kind a long story but here goes. Once upon a time shiva and ifrit lived in peace but then one day ifrit started boasting about how nothing was stronger than fire. Shiva disagreed saying ice was way better which caused a quarrel. Eventually ifrit challenged Shiva to a contest to test who was strongest by seeing who could be the most troublesome for a group of fruit pickers. Theres a couple of endings but the one I learned was while they were so busy competing the fruit pickers were able to steal the fruit with ease which only intensified the fighting. It was only after 3 days of fighting they realised that the great fruit tree was withering away as a redult of their attacks. Realising the nearly destroyed what was most precious to them they stopped fighting and the two worked together to create a warm pool of water made from melted ice. They poured it onto the tree and restored its health. The carbon dioxide given off by Ifrit’s inferno was frozen by Shiva’s power and turned into dry ice so the fruit was preserved forever" she told him happily

Oinee smiled giving Felina a round of applause "Ohh very nice story miss elfy person whose name I probably will never learn. Tell another when everyone is around because little knight was impressed" she praised her telling her friend to slow down "It would be faster for you guys if you swing through trees you know"

Satoshi smiled listening into the story for a moment "I guess your right hopefully he will let me ride him, I've always liked riding animals like horses and ponies and stuff ever since I went to Hitomi's place which has a stable. Though Hebal and Cid would have to be very very distantly related"

Hebal laughed jumping up into the tree "Are you wanting me to do all the swinging or would you like me to put you down so you can swing yourself?" she asked swinging across the first set of vines for her "Wasn't Oinee so rude to Felina just therre after telling such a really nice story about Shiba and Iftit" she whispered patting Icy on the head.

Seph chuckled jumping up and snatching an orange off a tree branch "Yeah I know theres loads of fruit about in this forest but what I am smalling is a whole collection of yummy fruit trees where we could fill baskets of fruit. I guess I just know how to smell out good food" she grinned linking arms with Itaka.

Melanae giggled patting the snow indicating for everyone to sit down "At first they didn't believe a word I said but they soon apologised after they heared the rumors that a 6 armed man was wandering the village then my parents suggested that maybe I sold the sword but I told them no and that I'm keeping it"

Amane nodded her head satisfied with what Melanae told her "Good good becuase Ardie is ever so jealous that you got to meet Gilgamesh and not her plus you got that nice gift from him. Plus we might never get hold of a sword as good as that one again in our lives"

Oassu smiled at Oinee "Thats ok Oinee we understand you've been very nice to us anyway I'm Oassu by the way" he said offering his hand to shake.

Gil scratched his chin with his free hand "What was the big culture shock for her coming to your village? Is it that different?" he asked "She went there to be a ninja surely she shouldn't be surprised at the lots of ninja's" he said turning to Oinee and extending a hand "I'm Gilgamesh but friends call me Gil" he said "And this lovely lady on my arm is Satoshi" he said patting the girl reclining in his arms.

Mari giggled waving down to the others "Oh we're doing introductions are we? I'm Mari pleased to meet you Oinee!" she called patting Hebal on the ears "I can swing if yu want me too I got the hang of it now I think and Oinee hasn't really needed manners before but I bet she's polite to her unicorn pals" she said.

Itaka pulled the discarded T-shirt off a branch before donning it himself then linking arms with Seph "Your nose must be pretty good to smell it" he said tossing the pineapple in the air before carefully moving with Seph to the next branch "I always liked melons best" he said.

Zadina giggled "Are your parents Gilgamesh fans or something?" he asked settling down beside the girls "I'm sure you'll have trouble finding a better sword than that and it'll be great for your training and combat so you keep a good hold of it ok?" he said.

Oinee looked at Oassu's hand unsure what to do for a moment before shaking his hand "Did I do it right Oassu? I don't get why you shake each other to introduce. We just smell eachother" she asked him holding on tightly as Little Knight leaped over a log "Why does Felina have funny ears?" she suddenly blurted out.

Felina frowned putting her hand over one of her ears "My ears aren't that strange. All elf ears are like this only mine are slightly strange and point outwards as wekk as upwards. Plus holding hands is a sign of affection so shaking hands is like a way of showing you don't mean any harm" she explained feeling her cheeks go red.

Satoshi, being unable to reach Oinee settled with giving her a wave "Hey again, don't worry if you forget my name, sometimes it's not a bad thing" she smirked kissing Gil's arm. She didn't expect to see that your paycheck depended on your rank as well as your mission plus we have loads of food and animals and things you wouldn't find in the middle of nowhere.

Seph smirked shaking her head at Itaka "No no I was chucking it away and you picked it up again so it's your t-shirt now, you know how the rules go. Finders keepers and all that" she laughed guiding him forwards by the tail "Plus theres a rip across the back so it's no good to me" she stated spotting some fruit trees up ahead.

Hebal laughed pinging Mari's ears back "You have quite nice ears yourself human and viera" she answered back swinging through the vines "Lookie lookie up there, look at all the pretty birdies!" she gasped pointing upwards to a flock of rainbow coloured birds flying above their heads "I like rainbows and stuff"

Melanae smiled producing a ball of light in her hand to show she still could "I haven't told my parents about what I can do though. They would scold me and tell me to forget about it, still you can teach me something else later right? Something either really pretty or really useful" she asked hopefuly.

Amane sighed looking up at the sky "Ardie needs to hurry up and get here or else we will have to go inside and she won't be able to come here for the mist" she muttered to herself also making a ball of light with her finger slightly brightler than last time.
