It'd be nice if there weren't 4-5 announcements every single day.
In other news, I'm at the last part of Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. One more memory, and I'll beat the game. After that, I'll finish up all the sidequest stuff and get all the collectibles.

I still blame the evolving items with like, 50k different features. imagine how long you could milk the cash cow if you didn't have to completely replicate pop culture because all the good stuff has already been done.

The economy is doomed to implode. Look at how fast they're doing sales, as evidenced by all the announcement spam. They're eventually gonna run dry on ideas.
Now, if they were to maybe do 1 or 2 at a time and give it a week, it wouldn't be so bad.
The animal avatar base only made it so that they can recycle everything that already exists in animal form.

One of those " overlaps the page and follows your scrolling " ads just appeared when I was checking this thread.
I wonder if Gaia's still against non-banner ads. Probably not, IMO. The new owner seems to only care about milking every cent he can get from anyone.
In other news, Gemcraft: Chasing Shadows is finally out.

I'd be happy to spend my mediocre income of Gaia Cash on premium items, if they'd fix the damn sponsers.
More than half the ads are BS ones that don't let you claim the rewards after doing what you're supposed to. I watch the video, and the button never enables like it's supposed to. Thanks, Dr. Scholl's, for making me waste 2 minutes for nothing, as well as like 20 other ads.
Not delivering promised returns after completion of required tasks constitutes as fraud, and people here on Gaia would get banned for that same crap if they did it. Not cool.

Indeed; though I really don't spend that much time trying to click for cash-based stuff.. if they made it worthwhile i'd consider it, but as much as gaian stuff costs for cash, a hundred darn ads later and i've not even begun to scratch the surface of the next month's item.. nah.

Apparently it's Gaia's sister site that's specifically 18+, so basically, imagine Gaia if it allowed porn.
Not only does that mean you're gonna see people posting n***s all over, but it's incredibly easy for kids under 18 to get on, which is just asking for trouble. If that wasn't enough, apparently the whole novelty and appeal of the site flopped lately, or so I've heard, meaning all the money invested into creating it likely ended up wasted.
The point is, I really don't like the new owner's methods of operation. I keep finding more and more reason to think Gaia's days are numbered.
