Yay BP. ^_^
Edit Both of their final forms are great defensive pokemon. Empoleon gains a couple weaknesses with its second type but it also gains an immunity to poison. It's really up to you.
Edit2 If it's between the two unevolved forms then I'll pick squirtle. I'm a sucker for the classics. ^_^

I'm a sucker for the classics. ^_^ lol chikorita and piplup are the only two i dont have,but i think i figured it out biggrin and Charmander and Squirtle(Red and Blue) were my favorite two growing up,so i think ill stick with blastoise lol
