"The research I do for the shop, that I love... and if you are interested, then I can teach you how to help with that. I thought you found the whole thing boring, so I never offered. As for my shower... don't you think talking might be a little more important right now?"

Arlen shook his head. "That's not it, I'm certain there's something I'm overlooking. I just have to figure out what," he said with determination.

"Well... I... I hope you figure it out then." Lily told him brightly, then wrapped her arms around his neck to give him a hug. "You pensive is not something I like to see. Want a happy Arlen." she teased, grinning.

She tossed the peach pit in her collection bowl, her ears pivoting around as she followed the conversations, not really feeling up to entering them. Sighing, she turned on the stool she was sitting on to face them, then leaned back, just happy that people were around.

Uakai blinked looking at him quite puzzled. But then she walked over and sat down beside him
"i didn't want to be a bother" she saidsoflty
"And you're always so busy.. I figured youjust woudnt' have time" she added then toued a little bit with his hair. Leaning aginst him and sighed a bit
"Id like to learn how to help you and to feel usefull to you"she finally admited

"I really don't know all that much about cold blooded creatures. I guess their bodies do it automatically. I guess they'll wake up eventually... Maybe I'll wake them later tonight." He murmured, scratching his cheek. He paused for a few moments, then asked out of the blue, "Hey, River. D'you think I'd look good with a mustache?"

Arlen looked at Lily askew. "Is something wrong?" he asked, he thought there was something wrong with what she said. And did she call him stupid?

She questioned him with a quirked brow yet again amused at his question."..I can't see it happening, do you want one?..I mean don't you think your child would find it odd to have a mother with one?.." She leaned forward looking at his face intently, trying to picture it in her mind. Blinking at what she came up with shaking her head."..I don't think that would be a wise Idea Tomo.."

"Sweet... please don't ever assume you're a bother." Vincent murmured, tentatively wrapping an arm around her waist. "You're not. I love you. I've done a poor job of showing it, I know, but... I do. If you want to know more about what I do, just ask. I can take you to the shop tomorrow, if you like. Learn about making potions." he offered quietly.
Lily blinked, slightly confused. "No, not really. I just meant I didn't like to see you with the weight of the world on your shoulders... that's all. Why would that signal that something was wrong?"

Ukaia snuggled up aginst Vincent with a content sigh. She nodded a bit

"I'm not the mother!" Tomo protested, ears going limp. "I'm a boy, that means I'm a father!" He sounded more embarrassed than irritated as his cheeks went pink. "A-anyway. I don't think the first thing she'll ask about will be my facial hair." He said, eyes traveling down to his lower body for a few moments. He looked down at his reflection in his tea, "But if you don't think I'd look good with one, I guess it's a moot point..."

Vincent returned the kiss softly, then wrapped Ukaia in a hug. "You can come with me if you make the worst potions in the world." he told her sincerely, smiling.
"I..." Lily looked around the room, then shrugged, eyes going downcast. Not acting happy, and not overcome by tiredness, she looked sad and a little frightened. "I just... stumbled on some stuff that I wish I hadn't, that's all."
