The boy's eyes shifted to the newcomer, a glint of purple in them, thoug hhe stayed himself and faced Amara. "You've become like Alley...you chose power at all cost, even your own purity....you did what I did....thoguh I chose to do to myself because I had to..."

She sighed and shook her head, gently moving one hand to the back of his head and rubbing her thumb on it.
"Did it not occure to you, Damion, that i had to do it also? To protect you all."
And on that note a tear fell from her icey eye down her cheek. They did not understand why she did it, but she did not care. Only Amara herself had to know why she did it. She turned and walked out the bar without saying anything.

Damion looked at her, and placed his hand on her forehead. A surge of psychic energy ran through her, giving her some of his power to stand up. "I learned lots of things mommy..." He undid his shirt and showed her something on his back: crystal fragments all over his back, fused to his body.

Damion hugged her back, and looked at the boy. "Depends if I grant them sentince. They are like batteries for me, and they serve as backup power packs, guardians, power boosts...as I mentioned, their function is at my whim. The more I have...the more power I earn."

" How dangerous...I probably shouldn't use that bylaw in the future..." He thought about it. " I wonder if it enacts the twelve radius rule? That should take out a hefty amount of bylaws for my use..." He was concerned, because he was pretty sure he had already used some.

Damion nodded, and hugged her tighter. "I...just wanna go home and sleep...these crystals...I need to give them some power...and Crystallus is hungry...I...." His stomach rumbled and he slowly started to lose conciousness. "Haven't eaten...for so long.......uhn..." The boy lost conciousness, slumping to the floor. The only thing keeping him up was his power...and he used it to help Alice.
