If I ever get home, I want to go trick or treating. Screw it if me and Ross are in our 30's and sis is nearly so as well! We deserve one good trick or treat! With awesome costumes and hijinks! And if people refuse our earnest attempt, trickery! Muahaha! No candy? Gator in your car! Swimming pool full of mashed potatoes! Muahahaha! biggrin

Muahahaha! biggrin A few years ago, in university, some friends and I participated in Trick or Eat, which was basically trick or treating, but for the local food drive. Areas had already been pamphleted in advance, so most people were expecting us. We were in costume, and went door to door collecting donations of non-perishable food items or loose change. Thing was, people were so impressed with what we were doing that we got quite a good candy haul anyway! Plus seeing just how much food everyone collected at the end of the night was so very very cool.

So that puts a damper on things.

Jmpv in my country we dont celebrate that for that reason i do it in gaia and another places xD gaia_nitemareleft Similar situation in here too. There are some costume parties but the american Halloween in here is mostly the commercial side of it all meaning costumes, little trinkets, parties and all sorts of "scary" stuff. The traditional All Hallows Eve day is more "somber" celebration in here and not all people do anything special on that day. Me included. gaia_angelright
