*poofs* Hail to the percoset!! Without it, I may not have lived past this horrendous migraine I got the day after finals ended....
. . . stare Who am I again?? It's been so long since I've been on SA, or anywhere for that matter. My laptop caught a trojan, and while avast kept them from taking over, it corrupted several important files, like my system restore and win32, and nothing would fix it. I tried many things. So I had to go out, buy an interim desktop, spent a couple days transferring all my files to it, then wiping the laptop, reformatting the drive and reinstalling EVERYTHING all while studying and taking finals, and learning the new computer system at work.
Boy, that sucked. And our last day of class we did some closing exercises, and everyone cried. Seriously. We've spent a year together, 3 1/2 hours each night, 4 nights a week and Saturday clinics for 12 months. We became a community, a family, and we became so close. heart We've all promised to keep in touch, and we have everyone's contact info. Some of us have been discussing reunion in a few years. Just one last clinic shift tomorrow, and then graduation ceremony next Thursday!!
I'm going to spend my time after graduation studying for my nationals test, cause it takes 3-4 weeks for processing my application, and then breaking in my FFXII which I bought a long time ago but never had the time to start. I hope to be licensed and working by Thanksgiving.
Sorry the post is so long, but it's a lot to catch up on. *dances* Behold my massage therapist awesomeness! I have 200 business cards that career services gave me, and while they're generic, I keep several in my wallet just in case - even though I can't work legally until I get through nationals and apply for my license at DOPL. After graduation, I will set up links to the pics. This will be a first look at the real Miko-dono for many of you. And the first pics I've had taken of myself in many a year... rolleyes

i love pics! congrats by the way! btw, FFXII is awsome! it'll take a bit to get used to the new fighting system, and there's a s**t load of extras, but the game itself is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! if you don't have the strategy guide i suggest getting it... IT'S HUGE. either way, the game is tough though. trust me, take the time to level up!

Waaa! My D drive just crashed and now my comp is going to die crying
I have to backup all my stuff... luckily since I'm mostly a mac user I don't have too many important files on my PC, but the bad news is that my Tablet and Photoshop Elements CD's are missing! Now I don't know how I'll be able to use them crying Life sucks...

So I found out that my D: drive just failed on me. Hehe, guess I got worked up over nothing, - not that I had any important data on that drive anyway, most of the files on it were over two years old. But that means I have no back-up in case my C: drive fails... sad I also found both of my CD's underneath a newspaper clipping in my tablet's box (I feel like a dummy razz ). Talk about a crappy day... oh well. If you need me, I'll be on the magic island studying Japanese like there's no tomorrow... If I don't get a good score I might as well unpack my Anime Bonzai bags. crying
*checks savings* how long till I can afford a Tablet Mac? gonk
