“Right now I’m tired.” Bakura said grumpily. “I want to go to bed.” He somewhat was like a small child now, complaining about being sleepy. But he still had enough sense to know about the Ryou and Kira problem. “You two aren’t trusted to be left alone, at all, even if Rei’s awake.” He then started to look around the temple, muttering to himself. “I need a chain… or rope at least…”

Kira growled slightly but looked to ryou speaking in english "Does this bakura know how to use the milnuim ring?" she asked a plan forming in her head.
"I'll get rope" rei said heading up to the surface.

Ryou shook his head, wiping blood from his face. “No. Even if he did, though, it’s got little energy. I had to use it to get away from the palace.” He responded, watching as Rei left. Bakura was glaring at him.

"Well then I have a plan.Just stay close to me." kira said making sure she was in the path between bakura and ryou.
Rei came down the steps with a rope in her arms.
Kiras eye glowed the light filling the room. when it died down rei was standing still.Her eyes were wide and souless.She quickly fell to the ground her body limp.
A card appered between kiras fingers with rei's soul in it.

Bakura turned to see Rei collapse. “Rei?” He moved over to her, and then seemed to panic a little. “Rei?!” He quickly fell to his knees besides her, rolling her over and checking to see if she was still alive. Feeling a heartbeat, he whipped around and glared at Rei. “What did you DO to her?!” He yelled, getting to his feet, his hands curling into fists at his side.

Kira almost felt bad...almost. "I removed her soul." she said holding up the card "this card contains her soul. Here is the deal.You are going to let ryou and I leave. When we are far enough away I will return her soul.If you donot let us leave I will rip up the card,destroying her soul. She will remain the way she is forver."

Bakura hesitated, gritting his teeth together. “You won’t be able to get far. Neither of you were conscious when we brought you here; you won’t know where to go. And besides, where do you have to go? Ryou looks so much like me the pharaoh will catch him soon and force him to take that priest position. Neither of you will fit in with your looks, even if you avoid the pharaoh.” Bakura said, just to remind her of reality.

"Oh and were any safer here? I blended in fine while I was in town.I can help ryou do the same.I have my ways of getting what I need.We would be just fine itill I fine we find our way back to our own time...So what's it going to me?"

Bakura looked down at Rei, then back up at them. “And how can I be sure that you won’t just rip up that card as soon as you are gone?” He asked, valuing Rei’s life. He wouldn’t be fooled by these two; if he was the one holding the card and ordering others around, ripping the thing up would be exactly the kind of thing he would do. The Millennium Ring chose that time to start glowing faintly and Bakura looked down at it with a frown, distracted for a moment. “Why’s it doing that?” He questioned, and then felt a pressure in his mind. How irritating. Seto had tried to take over the thief and instead found himself blocked by something. The Millennium Ring? The pharaoh had said he had been attacked by it. Its powers were weak, though. Seto easily tore down the feeble defenses and took over Bakura. He looked up and saw two rather pale-looking people in front of him, and the girl, Rei, on the ground. “Oh, I’m sorry,” he said in his own voice, through Bakura. “Am I interrupting something? It’s just that the pharaoh wants to know where you are.” He inclined slightly towards Ryou, and then frowned a little as he looked at the girl. “And who are you?”

Kira raised an eyebrow. "My name's kira. Now if You dont mind I was in the middle of arg-....wait..." she got up and scooped ryou up. She was quicker when she just carried him "We'll be leaving now." she said heading twards the exit. This was the perfect chance. She dident know who was controling bakura but could care less.

Seto blocked the stairway. “Where are you going? It’s rather dangerous out there, and I wouldn’t want anything bad to happen to either of you.” He said mockingly, crossing his arms over his chest. He then squinted at Kira, a bit confused. “Hey, why do you have the Millennium Eye?”

Ryou started to squirm, getting out of Kira’s grip and standing up on his own. “What’s going on?” He asked, because he didn’t understand a single word any of them were saying. He watched Bakura carefully, knowing that that wasn’t exactly his yami, but unable to say who it was. “Who is that?” Seto tilted his head to the side, but didn't move otherwise.

"I have no clue" kira told ryou. "but it's not bakura...Are you feeling better?" she asked more worried about ryou than whoever was controling bakura.

Ryou nodded his head as Seto idly examined the Millennium Ring, calculating how much energy it had left. Ryou hadn’t exactly used it all, just a large portion, and during the time it hadn’t been used it had gained a little back. Seto would have to guess that it had maybe a fourth of its strength back. It wasn’t exactly like using the Millennium Rod, but it was close enough for him to be able to use. With Kira’s attention on Ryou now, Seto was able to activate the item. There were only four people in the room, two of them with Millennium Items and one already soulless, so Seto decided to use the item on Ryou. A flash filled the room and there was a thump as a body hit the ground, but it wasn’t Ryou’s. Khalid stood behind where Bakura/Seto had been standing just a moment before, holding a large stone from the ruins of the city. He looked up at Kira and Ryou, blinking slightly, as though unaware of what he had just done. He had managed to knock Bakura out just before the Millennium Ring had done anything. Silently he flipped Bakura onto his back and tugged the Millennium Ring off, slipping it around his own neck.
