Malaryush Peppermint Elf I've been up for a while and I still haven't opened my presents. ninja and I still haven't wrapped anything either. sweatdrop Procrastination knows no holidays!!! scream When I got to my parents' house, my mother rushed me into the kitchen so I could wrap all the gifts she'd purchased. Except the ones for me; I didn't have to wrap those this year. I got a bunch of sweaters, a pillow and a big fluffy stuffed dog to snuggle with on my loveseat, a throw - also for snuggling up on the loveseat, a t-shirt, a rice cooker and some rice. Ooh, and $200. I also got a nice fat $1k bonus from work, which was freaking awesome.I want to go out shopping tomorrow morning, see if I can catch any decent sales, even if I can't get to many shops.
Didn't get much cash, but that's ok. The gifts were all good. 3nodding

On the aunt/uncle front, her nieces loved the Dora swag they scored and my nephew went all out on the set of wooden instruments (xylophone, castenets, and kazoo) we got them.

At my mommy's side of the family last night, my little second-cousin got some Dora books. I was reading one to him while he sat on my lap, then his brother joined in. Then he got too distracted by some other present, so his brother stayed on my lap while I was talked into reading a second book. It was so cute. He told me I read too fast. xd heart

Tomorrow is my 3 year anniversary with my g/f, and so we will be doing some more shopping, probably to pick up Devil May Cry 3. W00tness.

LunaInverse I swear, my car is cursed... So, there Stream and I were, shopping at the mall last night, because we're lazy and procrastinaters. Now, we were there for about 3-3 1/2 hours. As we walk out to my car, there's a jeep parked right behind it, with people in it. As I walk to open my car, hoping they're going to move, a girl hops out of the car, wearing a nervous smile. "Is that your car?" she asks. Now, I'm getting nervous, thinking "Oh, my god, she hit my car..." And then she starts laughing. "I have a funny story to tell you..." Apparently, she had parked her car about 4 spaces away from mine. And she had the same car as I, except that it had gold trim on it. In the dark, you can't really tell. So, her friend needed to go somewhere, and this girl gives her friend her keys. The friend goes back out to the parking lot, gets into the car, and begins to drive off. Only...she was in MY car. Apparently this girl's keys worked in my car, and the girl was on the highway before she noticed the Phi Theta Kappa tassel hanging from my rear view window. So she called her friend, and asked about it. That was when they realized they were in someone else's car. Mine. So, the car was brought back, all in one piece. They were waiting for me, because they weren't sure if I had come out, saw the car was gone, and thought it had been stolen. So, to make a long story short...Princess went on a little adventure without me... I blame Stream for it... xd I find it amusing that their key worked on your car. You know what you must do now, of course. Make Stream track down another car of the same make as yours and test your key on it.
