Hoshigaki Hiru Qyp Hiru, why is your training 9/9? Training and Levels thread, Learning a Jutsu post: Learning a Jutsu Now, naturally smart people may connect the dots and figure out shortcuts to learning and performing the techniques. Therefore for every 20 points your character has in Intelligence, he gets to -1 check to each stage of technique learning. So for example a Nara with 40 Intelligence only needs to have 32 successful checks {8 checks per stage with 4 stages} to learn your average B Rank technique. wink Damn, I am missing everything... I am really not fit for reading instructions... cliche male I suppose, but I learn through doing stuff... not from reading stuff... I missed that completely. I don't even know how I missed it.

For those who haven't already, remember to cast your votes for the blocking formula in the approvals thread! (Just waiting for this to be done for the mission to start back up...)

Gideon Commando What are the red starburst, raspberry? Those are awesome! Fruit punch BTW, Shinzu is -4 to checks. -2 for failing the Ikkou check three times in a row (Panicked) and -2 for being below 50% of Mhp. Gotcha...

So I was looking back at old post for inspiration and ran across this kunai throwing training that went on for a few pages. Quote: 0-5 = Ring 1 (+0Exp) 6-10 = Ring 2 (+1Exp) 11-15 =Ring 3 (+2Exp) 16-20 = Bullseye (+3Exp) Formula: 1d20 + Ranged Attack Bonus (5) + kunai skill (4) = 27 Train: Use all 10 kunai up. Is this legit?

Is this legit? Yes and no, if you're still learning the system while in the academy I'd let it pass, but it's an old way of training, and won't count after your char graduates. The standard now is to complete ten successful rolls with a DC of 10 + skill/ability that's being trained.
