Vice looked at Ziven, extending his hand and taking the core from her. "Don't thank me, thank him. It was his idea to speak with you... I probably would have kept arguing with you." For a moment he kept his hand closed, but when he opened it the core was no longer there. After that he turned his attention back to Sapphira. "What kind of reassurance?"

Fenris sat up and looked to Ziven, holding her arms out for a hug as she smiled. "Reassurance that everything will be alright..."

Vice watched what was happening, a small smile of amusement on his face. After Ziven disappeared he spoke. "Everything will be alright... now then, I think things have settled down at the inn. Do you want me to warp you into a room so you can get some sleep?"

He laughed and gently placed his hand on her back. "Aye, it is very peaceful..." He looked up at the sky and smiled a bit. "So do I, you get close enough to the sky to see the stars, and you still get to relax... on the top of a tree I mean."

Vice laughed at what she said, remembering the incident the other day. At her request he looked at her almost confused. "What did you say?" He asked before smiling a bit and winking to her to show her he knew what she was talking about.

He used the hand on her back to give her a little hug before smiling. "Think nothing of it... now you should get some sleep."

He waited until she was asleep before closing his red eye. This was how he slept, literally with one eye open, ready for anything at any moment. After a few moments his grip on her tightened just a bit as he fell asleep.

As the sun hung high over the forest, Sapphira stirred from her sleep. She curled up a bit, putting an arm over her eyes. In her movements, she felt something wrapped around her. She blinked, then moved her arm, looking to Vice whom was asleep next to her.
She blushed, covering her face again in embarrassment. She had forgotten she was out here...

The moment she began to move he woke up. He blinked a few times before his silver eye looked at Saph. Seeing her blush, he chuckled slightly and moved his hand away from her. "Morning. Did you sleep well?" He said as he slowly sat up, his back cracking as he did so.
