I have a question for you Ms. Genjutsu master.
How exactly is genjutsu activated? Does direct eye contact need to be established?

The Ghost of Xmas Awesome I'll fight you. confused Xenon and Hiro one on one. wink Kidding, that wouldn't be fair. Hiro's isn't made to fight a Maboroshi, Xen could just throw him into into a Genjutsu and not let go into you hit a coma. Hiro would need a neutral twenty to break free. I wonder who'd win between him and Kimiko though... her chakra reserves are outstanding for a Genin and her Ninjutsu packs a whallop, even without the clone jutsu she goes to learn with this calms down, but Hiro's a freakin tank... I'd have to do the math on that one. Hmm. I need to train up my resistance to genjutsu. It is after all my weakness. I'd take on Kimiko, but I will reiterate.. I haven't fought in a while. I will be bound to make plenty mistakes. One thing I completely forgot about is attack turns. How many melee attacks can you make in a single turn? How many weapons can you launch with a puppet in a turn?

P.S. And no, really. On the thirteenth this month I have a party at mum's company held for the children...the GM sort of gave mum short notice and somehow I ended up piano soloist for the party. So I have to prepare an extensive repertoire that last at least an hour and half out of the three...I am not exactly wholly ecstatic...since it was emphasized they are bringing out the grand piano just for me... So I am greatly nervous in fact, cuz Proto's been a bad girl and had been skipping out on piano practice due to school and College Application season... surprised
So I had been practicing like a mad man recently. xP
Of course, I will play none of those...ridiculous traditional Christmas songs. No no, Celtic Carol, Little Drummer Boy, and Pachebel's Canon are all part of my practice-list instead. =d I'm done with Celtic Carol, almost done with Pachebel...just need to get the musics for Little Drummer Boy. >_>

Oh and Proto... I am so confused on how to post... Kaguya locked Frost in the earth dome correct? I think he broke out... But what happened afterwards? How did they get seperated?

The person who did his picture is long gone, and I want a new one. I decided to just go ahead and get a different picture.

ellreka ut ohz...i think the dreaded ghost post glitch is back :/ you know...the one where it makes a whole page of posts dissapear and royally screw an RP :/ For real?! Where? And on an entirely unrelated note, if there's a reoccurring Shinobi NPC, should I make a profile for him and put it in that catagory? Cause Saijo is awesome. confused He was originally just this random guy I fought at the Genin exams, but I liked his character so much I keep using him again. stare "Yeah..." "Gotcha." "Hm..." "...?" "..." and *thumbs up* pretty much make up about 90% of his vocabulary, but he still rocks!

If you're using Mind Genjutsu, then you would need to establish some form of connection through the victim, be-it through visuals, sounds, eye contact, them looking at something to distract them from noticing the change.
Body and Field Genjutsu do not require any form of connection to be made, thus the Temple of Nirvana being the perfect example since feathers start to fall automatically. **Though in some cases, those of us capable of changing the jutsu to better to suit the user could use different objects such as snow.**

Hana took Kaguya's scroll and ran with it while she was distracted with keeping Frost trapped. And she alerted the angry wolf, before running for it...it was a stupid plan to aggravate something that could easily maul her, yes...anyhow. She threw back fake scrolls (blanks) to distract the wolf woman on her trail (and succeeded in getting Kaguya more angry with her and went completely into her animal form)... But then she lost footing at the river promontory...so Kaguya (out of interest of saving her summoning scroll initially being unsure what would happen if it got damaged) tries to save the girl and both tumbles over the cliff and into the water.
Kaguya apparently remained out long enough to save Hana from drowning, but had already disappeared when the fisherman picked her up (to which if Hana had been thinking properly she would be convinced it's due to the damage done to the scroll). Course it can be fixed...wait, guys...who's Oto's Fuuin Master? Hahaha. Though technically, I guess it's up to Cheer to decide whether Tiatsu was a success or not (when I remember to post it up on Saturday afternoon).
Wish me luck guys on my SAT IIs tomorrow! crying
